Hello,
I've baught a S4 GT-I9500 some months ago.
I used Omega v8 (4.2.2) and I manged ONCE to install an official 4.3 (india, from sammobile). Then back to Omega.
Now, I really want to go back to official 4.3 or 4.2.2, but it fails via Odin (tried 1.85, 3.04 3.07 3.09 and multiple CWM recovery).
Here is the output of Odin (always the same error) :
<ID:0/006> Odin v.3 engine (ID:6)..
<ID:0/006> File analysis..
<ID:0/006> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/006> Initialzation..

<ID:0/006> Firmware update start..
<ID:0/006> sboot.bin
<ID:0/006> NAND Write Start!!
<ID:0/006> FAIL!

PLEASE, help me...
Thank you,
Nad
1. Try other USB port in ur pc and repeat the process
2. Close completely Kies before start to flash (take a look in your taskbar and task manager too)
3. You cant flash a 4.2.2 firmware if your bootloader was updated for accident flashing a firmware with android 4.3. You will have to flash one firmware with android 4.3 again
4. Good luck

I was tinkering around with firmwares the past few days because I was getting tired of my signal dropping and having to manually do the "*#*#4636#*#*" method or turning airplane mode on and off to get signal back only temporarily. I rooted my SM-N910P phone with the 5.0.1 firmware but the CM12.1 nightlies I got were based on 5.1.1. I managed to successfully flash the 5.1.1 firmware through ODIN which meant I lost my rooting capabilities.
I already made the mistake of trying to get root access back by reflashing the cf auto root via ODIN which was based on 4.4.4 but ended up just getting in a bootloop. So I had to reflash the 5.1.1 firmware which got rid of the bootloop. But now that I have it on my phone, I am unable to flash any previous STOCK firmwares. I've tried both 5.0.1 and 4.4.4 firmwares on the Sammobile website and end up getting a "FAIL!" message despite my phone being recognized on ODIN and ODIN reading the tar md5 firmware successfully under AP/PDA.
Code:
Added!!
Enter CS for MD5..
Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
Please wait..
N910PVPU3BOF5_N910PSPT3BOF5_N910PVPU3BOF5_HOME.tar.md5 is valid.
Checking MD5 finished Sucessfully..
Leave CS..

I've done a master/factory reset from recovery and it didn't help as I am still unable to flash a previous stock firmware. Since I already made the mistake of flashing two incompatible files that led to the bootloop, I was hoping to just go back to the 5.0.1 firmware I downloaded from Sammobile then just getting the last updated version of CM12 based on 5.0.1.
Is there something about the 5.1.1 firmware that prevents this? If so, I think I'm just gonna stay unrooted for now until there is a viable rooting method for 5.1.1.
Current 5.1.1 firmware for the SM-N910P version: N910PVPU4COG5_N910PSPT4COG5_N910PVPU4COG5_HOME.tar.md5
5.0.1 firmware from Sammobile I've tried to flash: N910PVPU3BOF5_N910PSPT3BOF5_N910PVPU3BOF5_HOME.tar.md5
Any feedback will be very much appreciated!
UPDATE: I just ended up flashing TWRP via ODIN with the 5.1.1 firmware as I remembered that ROMs and custom recoveries don't interfere with each other. Wiped the dalvik cache, cache, system and data and flashed the CM12.1 nightlies and 5.1 gapps zips via TWRP. Needless to say, it succeeded and got root access back.

Huge thanks for the re-upload ill flash it right away!
But whats the .pit used for i know its the partitiontable for the device, but why would i need it?
Its for flashing with Heimdall when you're accidently flashed some wrong firmware and because of this the partition table is lost and can't get downloaded from the device. i marked it with optional cause its kinda confusing

You should not to try in these conditions to flash through Odin otherwise the result will be this.
For the next, the first you have to do is check RMM state is have to be in unlock or atleast checking state not prenormal, and also your FRP and OEM unlock are ON, you should NOT to flash in this state.
The only thing that could save you is this, download this file and flash it, be careful to not cut the process and not use your pc for other jobs at same time (specially if you have a low powered one)
https://gsmxpro.com/combination-j7-pro-samsung-sm-j730-file/
Go for this version COMBINATION_OXA_FA70_J730GDXU5ARI1
This firmware doesn´t provide a complete image so reboot normally to system, enable USB debugging, check OEM unlock status that is ok, check your Google account and see again what´s on screen of download mode to can flash a complete firmware so you can use it again normally when the worst is gone.
Report if this helps.
