Connect with 3G/3.5G not working for apps for "matt 1.6b"

the wireless connect with GSM/WCDMA cannot work for all apps except internet browser, can it be fix ?

already posted the question before but don't know why disappear, and already search some threads and tried there advise but can't work so try set a new thread

solution is use the RMNET ALTERNATIVE (download in mattc thread and inside zip will be rootfs.img to replace the usual one)

I found the solution to be manually editing the APNs in "Settings->Connectivitiy->Mobile Network->APN" and not only selecting my SIM'S APN (the default was some english carrier), but also changing it's type (under 'Settings->APN Type') to "default" (have to type it in manually).
Fixed the problem for me.

I tried before but not work. Last night I tried for 5 times and work now, don't know why. But still thanks all guys again.

Ad-Hoc connection solved :)

Hi everybody
Today after long search I fixed the Ad-Hoc connection , now I can connect using my laptop wifi . wep and unsecured.
I just like to let you know it's possible.
when I used the stock rom . it wasn't working but now with Revolution HD 6.1.2 by mike it works. it may work for other lower versions.
I followed this post here and It worked.

warning: if you are using a stock rom . I don't think it'll work . I tried it and had to re-flash the rom. because the DHD keeps restarting !

Rather than creating a new unnecessary thread, read the existing ROM thread. WiFi not working is a known issue...

yeah, just try flashing it again. probably a bad download.
verify the md5sum before flashing this time.

You can either install one of TDJ's newer kernels over your existing installation, or you can download the previous version which has working WiFi.

...from looking at your OP, it doesn't seem like you are on the latest version? if you're not, try flashing it.

You should keep an eye on the thread itself .. it has been reported already .. and he stated he is working on it .. (start reading from page 25 if you don't want to look for too long )

Install ROM.

If something went wrong restore.
Dont complain if it doesnt work...Use it or leave it like this, no one made you use it...

All my work is being done on an internet cafe. I pay 2 euros per hour just to answer the comments you make and then if i have time manage my downloads and upload more. I also have to to move many files with a usb that i bought just for this. Believe me the computers there are really slow. Its not going to be like this forever. Please be patient. A moderator please temporary close this thread and open when i have a download link available.

please do not post rom threads without download link. It is considered placeholders and they are not permitted in XDA dev section. Thread closed, please OP contact me when you have a download link to a working rom (at least booting rom). Best regards,
