I haven't heard anyone to successfully root their device by any method. But that worth a try, who knows.. it might work..

try this. after you boot that zip, make sure to install supersu app from playstore.
U can't rllt ur phone with kingo root because 7.1 has more security u onlu root those device which 4.4.1 version example kitkat

Use the APP iRoot 1.0.2 . It works! . I can't put the link cause i'm a new user here. Just googled it!

Actually I'm having problems coz' it does nothing. Only there's an icon saying that rooting is in progress and it's not rebooting. Maybe becasue I don't have unlocked bootloader on it?

..that is the reason i have downgraded back to 4.2.2, 4.4 still looking for success rooting.
..only way to use 4.4 with calling is the chinese rom without gapps and no rooting required.
..am satisfied at the moment

Baidu root works but it doesn't seem to last long and it gets unrooted after a while. I got my adblock hoats installed then lost root and couldn't get super su installed.

I fail to understand why anyone would flip the knox counter by rooting but not install custom recovery?

There is no fastboot option to unlock bootloader And Not rooted even i used king Pc roottools.

Hey guys, I installed the A37 version 2 weeks ago. It was working fine, unlocked and so on...
However, after my battery died, I restarted my phone and the sim lock was back. WHAT?
I noticed that the singtel app installed itself after the reboot.
Is there a way to block this app? Or did anybody find a solution so far for a stable sim unlock?
I just tried it again. I installed the A37fEX 11 OTA 10 20160804
This works, however, the device performs an auto update. This causes the sim lock!
Is there a way to turn it off?

Well in that case, you could not flash supersu files.. All you can do is try apps like KingRoot but beware those can mess your mobile...
Try installimg TWRP again...
