Hows it going everyone? I recently got a note 4 (sprint) Model n910P and Ive been trying to install a rom that has the Theming Option and i havent had any luck. Can someone please point me in the direction of one that actually works with my note 4 and Sprint. THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE.

yes ive tried a few and cant get data to work ive tried a couple of data fixes but nothing wants to work on my Sprint N910p note 4

You could try this one. Please keep in mind that it's unofficial, so it could be unstable. Secondly, it's android 5.1.1 if that's okay for you.

I got a i9505 recently, and obviously I'm trying to put the Google Edition of the ROM on my phone (God I hate Touchwiz), but every time I do, I get no internet connection over my mobile data. I can connect to Wifi no problem, but without the Wifi, no internet. I've tried flashing three different "Google Edition" ROM's through CWM, and they all have this problem. Restoring a backup I made through CWM gets me 4G no problem
Extra information: I didn't flash any extra kernel, just the ROM I downloaded, and I'm in Australia. I'm not sure if that helps at all

EDIT: Just in case someone stubles on this later, I found out it was my APN settings. For some reason the ROM didn't have any Access Points, hence no internet. Thanks for reading

...of course the info can also be accessed by going to your dialer and typing *#*#4636#*#* then selecting Phone info
I too struggled with this (even after reading Gareth's post - having missed his 'EDIT' comment !!!)

Hello!
As the title says, I'm having problems with LTE on my LG G2 running CM11 nightlies. I can confirm that it's not my SIM card as LTE works flawless using the stock ROM, but once CM11 is running all I have is 3G.
I've looked through the forums looking for a solution but nothing seems to work for me.
As I'm completely clueless about what to do now, I'd love some help!
( I'm completely new here so please be gentle )

You could try flashing the modem : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451426 . Seems to work for some, didn't solve it for me though.

I had the same problem on a different rom, and this worked for me.

Unfortunately it doesn't stick after a reboot. Others have suggested a build.prop change, and also say it doesn't stick after a reboot.
Edit: Found a fix. Setting now stays after reboot. Linked post updated.

Hey, I'm new to XDA, but I have been searching through the threads to find a way to unbrick my note 4. I have a T-mobile note 4 that I rooted and one day I was on it and it all of a sudden went into boot loop, this happened once before and all I had to do was take the battery out and turned it on and it was fine. The second time it got stuck in boot loop. I have followed a lot of videos on youtube and have tried a lot of things people have said to get out of boot loop. I downloaded odin and got the software specific to my note 4 and put the device in download mode and when I start odin and get it all set up it fails right after. So I wanted to ask for any help specific to my device. My note 4 has Team win recovery and when I go in there is nothing there. Its like everything has been wiped clean. I have tried to reinstall note 4 software multiple times and made sure I have all the drivers. I have a iPhone 7 plus(going to switch back to android) and the note 4 has been sitting in my room for a few months now and I would like to unbrick it so I can use it or do something with it. I know what I have said so far may not be useful, please leave a reply and I will give any other details that you may need. Please help me out, trying to fix the phone and so far have been out of luck. Also I am not the most tech savy when it comes to tech....Thank you to those of you that decide to help out, it will mean a lot

Yup I have tried reinstalling the software with odin but still no luck. Followed a few things on youtube but that didn't work either. Honestly don't have a use for it, but I have a anker external battery for it and the phone will last two days easy. If I fix it ill probably swap sims and use that. I'm glad you have your phone working, however it troubles me that you asked for help publicly but will post your fix privately. XDA works as a forum because of everybody sharing. Just keep in mind that someone else could benefit from your fix (or find) without having to contact you. All they have to do is say it worked for them or not and thank you for sharing.

I wasn't asking for him to send me a private message or anything. I just wanted to know if he got it fixed or not before I spent my time writing all the steps out. I didn't feel the need to write out a really long response if he already got his phone fixed. He was the only other person that had the same problem as me. I'll gladly right out all the steps once I get home and get the time.

I think you're missing my point and the purpose of XDA. He's the only one that responded, but they could be 5 more. Your fix may help someone else tomorrow or a month from now. It will be nice in the spirit of sharing (XDA) once you find a fix to post it in case someone else needs it. I personally benefited from the one below and I was about to post it as possible fix. as soon as it comes on it comes up with some writing on the top left. then says sectors and some numbers then restarts. also it only comes on if i formatted card and used the img and wrote it to the 32gb sd card. otherwise phone wont even respond.
anyone? i honestly dont know what to do.

Okay, so the first thing I did was download the latest version of odin. The problem with my phone was that I accidently completely wiped the phone and the only thing I had on it was TWRP (Team win recovery) and I tried to install the firmware from Sam mobile but for some reason it kept failing. Thats when I finally decided to download some other rom and the link is https://forum.xda-developers.com/no...rom-hyperdrive-n4-rls-otatweaks-lock-t2919441 after downloading that put it in the AP spot and click the box and press start and it should work. As i mentioned in my op i am not the dev of this file and i have no idea who created this file .

Is there a certain app you have to use with this

It will work as long as the rom is deodexed 6.0.1 marshmallow.
I haven't tried it on other ported roms
i only tried on stock deodexed 6.0.1.
Just make a backup and you can try it it won't brick your phone or anything .in the worst case you will get bootloop.

Thank you i try it already on my rom an it just send me to a loop even thoe its on TWIZtd DeVELOPMENT (S7---S8---N7---N4 Roms) for T-Mobile Note 4 6.0.1 MM i think is the port i will test it doing it manual install an see what it does

I've tried on Twiztd n4 rom and it works for me i don't know why it didn't work for you.
It won't work with s7 n7 s8 roms cuz they are intl roms.

Ha! I think this is the tether fix I made. I forgot to include the fix in my rom and made a stand alone. At any rate, I'm glad others are able to use it.

Yeah no problem. I just decompiled the framework-res.apk
Then go to res/values/arrays.xml.
Look for the line that has "config_mobile_hotspot_provision_app" in it and change it from a "string-array" into an "array". You'll want to delete the one or two lines below it as well that go with that string-array.
Ultimately, you want it to look like in the screen shot that's attached.

Hey thank you both :good::good: an any rate i havent had any luck on the N7 port ill try the fix and see but i been block from my cap already and being throttle so im going to have to wait and see if it works on the first of the moth bummer i know but thats tmobile for you ..

It most likely won't work on a port rom but if you want to upload your framework-res.apk and twframework-res.apk I can try the same method on it.
Oh, actually if you just want to tell me which rom you're using I could go ahead and download it. That way you dont have to worry about uploading anything. The only problem is, I dont have service on my note 4 at the moment so I won't be able to test the hotspot but I can at least make sure it boots and doesn't fc.

im currently using the TWIZtd DeVELOPMENT (S7---S8---N7---N4 Roms) Note 7 port with the UI N7 .
