Accidentaly deleted my 'system' in TWRP. - OnePlus 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, this is first time on the forums and im pretty nooby to most the things here. Due to some problem, i was going to factory reset my phone with twrp. I went into the 'advanced wipe' and selected system (along with cache, dalvik cache and data). Now I don't have an operating system and upon starting up, my phone gets stuck on the 1+ Logo. I can still access the recovery and fastboot mode. Can anyone help me in the most nooby-friendly way possible? I've still got some important data on the phone so i hope i don't have to lose it. I can delete them if it comes to that.

Mtp works in recovery. Go to recovery & connect to a pc. You should be able to access internal storage. Copy the files you need & Flash a new rom.

[Q] A200 data wipe failure -- no longer

Hi all,
I tried to update the custom ROM on my A200, but in the process, the data wipe failed.
What I did exactly, is use ROM Manager to load the latest JellyBean CM ROM for A200, selecting the option to wipe the data partition (do a factory reset). My device rebooted, and it started trying to wipe the /data partition, but it just stopped right there. No error or anything, the system just hung there for 2 hours before I turned it off. As I feared, the system was rendered unbootable.
However, CWN Recovery *is* still available, which I guess is a good thing. So, I can boot in recovery, but I can't really get it to function. I tried formatting the data partition again - system hangs. I tried installing the image from sd card - system hangs.
Does anybody know how I can recover from this? It seems to me that there's nothing *really* broken, just that my data partition is corrupt somehow -- and I suppose there has to be a way to recreate these partitions.
Thanks!
I've had CWN Recovery run for 24 hours now, and still nothing. It fails to format the data partition.
Anyone knows how to tackle this problem?

Wiped phone through TWRP, now no OS installed; can't boot

Hi, so I'm a total newbie at this and I'm running through some major problems. Basically, I tried installing Cataclysm only to be stuck at the boot splash screen at the end of the install. I thought I had done something wrong, so I decided to use TWRP to wipe everything off my phone. Problem is that I accidentally wiped EVERYTHING, including the OS, apparently. Now my phone won't boot past the "Google" splash screen and I'm left with an essentially useless device.
What am I to do here? I literally have no idea where to start or what to do. I assume that I would have to push some files over to my phone, but I don't know how to access it in recovery mode. And I were to, what files and how?
Thank you so much.
Do not select "Internal Storage" to wipe or "FORMAT DATA", it will wipe your internal storage.
If you wipe "system" then you wipe the OS, but your internal storage would be left alone. But I guess in this case you wiped both of them.
In TWRP, there is the "Sideload" feature in the advance menu. Turn it on, then download a rom and put it in your ADB folder, type: adb sideload rom.zip
Sideload Cataclysm, try again.

International galaxy Note 3 stuck in boot loop

My international Glalaxy Note 3 just started boot looping. When I turned it on first thing today. Yesterday it was functioning fine.
I removed the battery for 30 seconds still nothing. I booted into recovery, (TWRP) and wiped cache still nothing. So I backed up my phone to an External SDCard, and wiped data still nothing.
So I erased the whole device except recovery, and restored from the backup to try, and retrieve some essential files. Before reinstalling a fresh. The issue is when I go to the internal sdcard on storage it shows as empty with only a TWRP visible. I did get a notification that supersu was not installed. When rebooting the phone after wiping it. But I selected for twrp to install it so it should be there.
I have also tried to recover the data via looking at the backup on my computer but the backup is in a non human readable format.
Any idea how to get the data I need out of the phone or from the backup before I reinstall the OS?
What twrp you are using? Try reflash the twrp recovery to see if the twrp backup still there? Before you wipe did u wipe internal storage too?

You said you wiped evrything.. So it includes Internal storage too right! And TWRP automatically creates the folder evrytime you boot into it.. If want the data from your External storage, try taking the card out and copy it or use MTP with TWRP. Then flash your fresh Rom.

Wiped system by accident, is my encrypted data still salvageable?

Hi all!
So I wanted to root my S8, installed TWRP and then I couldn't power up normally anymore, said I need to reset (this was the default os message).
After that I tried to wipe cache int twrp so maybe I could still reboot normally, but I accidentally wiped System.
Now I don't have an OS installed, but since I haven't wiped my data, is it still salvageable? (photos, etc)
TIA!

Once the system is wiped. The encryption key for the data partition is gone. No system after this point will be able to read it.

That's unfortunate... Thanks for the peace of mind!
Update:
I went ahead and installed a fresh OS/firmware, and all data was still intact. It asked for my PIN and it just continued from where I left it. Great!

ZE601KL No OS installed! (TWRP)

Hi all,
Recently it's been restarting every once in a while.
I have TWRP installed, so I went into recovery mode and factory data reset my device to start fresh of course backing up all my data.
But me being the cleverclogs went into Wipe -> Advanced Wipe and selected all the boxes thinking it will do a proper cleanout (Dalvik/ART Cache, System, Data, Internal Storage, Cache, Micro SDCard). But when I try to reboot it there's a msg saying "No OS installed! Are you sure you wish to power off?".
When restarting the phone it just goes back to ASUS IN SERCH OF INCREDIBLE
How can I install the stock ROM or I might even try custom ROMS (any recommendations?). I haven't installed a custom ROM since the Samsung Galaxy II days so I'm a complete noob again.
I have two Rom in the Internal Memory, one Asus stock and one of LianogenOS 16, but when trying to install, in both they give me the same error, MD5 NOT FOUND
I have copied the two ROMs into a micro SD, but it is not shown with the TWRT File Explorer
I am trying to send a ROM to Internal Memory with ADB push from Minimal Adb but it gives me an error.
Maybe I could install an .img ROM from Fastboot Mode?
Where can I find any?
Thanks for your help.
