You probably won't find many or even any builds of RR past today's one. TheStrix has shifted to working on Android Nougat. RR is pretty stable mind you - if you look hard you might find the odd glitch or a crash that's hard to reproduce. Rare though. Likely the same sort of experience from the official CM builds, just without the RR features patched in. They're both maintained by him.
A good option for long-term support would be the xiaomi.eu MIUI builds... basically stock kenzo software without the superfluous MIUI stock apps baked in. It gets weekly patches.
Wish I'd tried more AOSP ROMs, there's likely some perfect vanilla android builds on here.

Notes:
● These builds come pre-rooted with SuperSU 2.79 (Stable)
● Restore/Dirty flash the ROM you are using so you start out fresh and to obtain best results
● Installing any app to control kernel options, is not required and it is highly suggested to not mess around the kernel settings, just flash and worry not about anything (nothing against app devs, but that has been what my project has aimed, being worry free)​

Kairi is genius....Using his kernel on my previous phone..LG g3 was definitely the best custom kernel.....

No the builds are not Unified.. there are 2 separate builds.. for the op3 and op3t..

This kernel is Powerful and has great battery life.
Its on OC though.

If you want to solve that, just make a kernel and *boom* fixed, ajust CPU voltages and make optimizations, I'm using my kernel and I get 4 to 5hrs of SOT, and my device dosn't heat up more than 50°C

Fget miui .I have redmi 2( 1 GB )&official miui is on 4.4 KitKat .
So I decided to give up miui and came on XDA.
Thanks to XDA developers and all members who really worked hard without asking a penny for making best custom ROMs.
Bro.Here is my personal choice.
1st no.-- Pirej's Arm 64 ROM.(wip).
Its stable. excellent camera.Best of best battery back up.no lags etc .
2nd no--- AEX extended ROM.its like vanilla ice creams with toppings.(fully customized). Stable .
3rd no-- mokee & lineage& aicp.(battery back up is OK and heating is still ther)

That kernel is outdated, when zetsubou releases a new version I will update my kernel, becouse I need a kernel to have a base, since my kernel's are basically optmized versions for performance or something more

8.4.28 is based on miui 10 or 9? search on the miui forum for the latest beta or use xiaomi.eu, it has a lot of new features and the split screen is working like a charm but battery life it isn't optimised wet

Official GSI hasn't been released yet. There is an unofficial one but doesn't boot on Huawei device.

But you can't get the same Camera result with the stock EMUI one. Dunno if I can flash the Huawei camera app in an AOSP based ROM.
I'm running RROS on my Redmi Note 4 with 9.0 and so far it's amazing.

I have tried huawei camera app on aosp extended v6. 1 it's the same as rros with the same bugs in it, it restart when trying to change mode or capture video in both of them
