Hello. I have S6 edge plus G928F from Poland PLUS (PLS), changed to XEO and works well. I wanted to install newest firmware with orange brand (IDE) and after modem.bin i have FAIL in odin. Flahsing older XEO works, cant flash this orange. Cany ideas? For 3 USB ports on 2 phone is detected by PC but not wih odin. din works only on one USB.
same problem here
you guys should use the LATEST firmware.
You need to update the modem and baseband and then the ROM.

I flashed the unbranded UK firmware but didn't flash what I believed to be the optional kernal and modem and now the new kies won't pick up the phone it just spins on connecting endlessly.
Any help?
try flashing a stock firmware using Odin
Hi everyone,
I just got my note 3 from Videotron sm-n900w8 only to realized it doesn'y have LTE on their network. So I'm trying to odin a stock firmware from sammobile (Rogers - RWC) but my phone stays the same.
I tried everything. Does this mean that I have a locked bootloader or some write protection enable?
I always check "usb debug" and "reactivate protection off". Installed the latest samsung usb mobile or kies. Tried with Odin 1.85, 3.07, 3.09. Tried different USB ports and cables. Tried NAND erase... Everything detects and ODIN says pass but my phone didn't wipe anything nor did it install the stock firmware (always same release or more recent).
What do I need to do to flash a stock firmware?

Unfortunately TGY firmware is not compatible with other firmware (including TTT region)
Now you will need the PIT file to flash with the appropriate firmware (with the option Re-Partition selected).
- If you want to flash TGY firmware, you will need the PIT file from TGY device.
- If you want to flash TTT firmware, you will need the original PIT file from your device.
And note that do not flash back to the 4.3 as that may brick your device.
Try to flash only 4.4.2 from now on.
Thanks for your informative reply.
Do you know where I can download TTT or TGY pit file?
Most sites only have the ROM but not pit files
Thanks alot for your advice.
I successfully flash the TGY ROM via Odin using a TGY Pit with Re-Partition option
Phone reboot stuck at "Samsung Logo" ... go to Recovery ... reset data .. phone boot ok !
But keep show S pen input failed...then I reflash via odin without re-parition option... working well now
Thanks !!! Thanks !!

Glad that it's useful to you.
And also thanks for your instruction.
Great.
Hey there so i found on Sammobile the 5.0 version of the UK (Vodafone)
I downloaded it and tried to flash via Odin and it failed.
It fails at the last part hidden.img (FAIL) Size.
I tried other USB ports, Updated Samsung drivers , Reboot PC
I read somewhere about a PIT file (which unfortunately i don't have.
I had root but now i cannot enter recovery since its stuck in a boot loop..
Is there anything else i can do?

Is your phone branded to Vodafone UK? You can flash the POLAND firmware if not.

Thanx but for some reason i re-flashed a custom recovery via odin and it booted up into the new rom Lollipop.
Thank you for your reply
Could you please explain which custom recovery did you boot? I seem to have the same problem. Thanks.
I've tried to install an official firmware (one file) for Note 3 after I've installed the leaked firmware, and I get an size error in odin. Help?
If I reinstall the leaked that is 5 files includind pit everything is working normaly.
I use
N9005XXUGBOA5_N9005XEOGBOA4_N9005XXUGBOA1_HOME.tar.md5
this file and flash it in odin as PDA on my N9005 without any problem.
(may be not the same case as you?)
If you have a 16 GB phone then you need to flash a ROM which is meant for 16 GB phones.
I failed to flash the German 5.0 ROM on my 32 GB unit, while the Polish version flashed just fine.
The was a similar issue with 4.4 with the DBT firmware back when that came out. People who had used the first DBT version couldn't flash any other official firmware over it once that came out because of the size error. Turned out they had to use the pit file. This could be similar.

I have a similiar problem too. I tried to flash Polish version of Lolipop but Odin prompted a size error. Now my phone is in download mode and Kies doesn't support the device. So can't do anything else.
Does anyone knows how to do ?
thanks in advance.
