Trouble booting device

I tried restoring a nandroid backup on my phone and have been having trouble ever since. Upon restoring my nandroid backup, I restarted my phone but I couldn't get past the Samsung Splash Screen. So I started troubleshooting:
1) I restarted my phone, booted into recovery (TWRP), and wiped Dalvik Cache, System, Data, Internal Storage and Cache. I then tried restoring my nandroid backup again. However, upon rebooting the device, I still couldn't get past the splash screen.
2) I installed Heimdall for Mac (like Odin) and flashed the latest TWRP recovery.img (openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.1-jfltexx.tar). I tried to restore the nandroid again, but I still couldn't get past the splash screen.
3) I tried doing a fresh install of cm10.2 stable and still nothing.
Please, any help or direction would be awesome

Please!Kindly someone help!! stuck at bootloop SM-910H

SM-910H rooted with cf-auto root.
Running stock ROM. I have TWRP recovery & have nandriod backup.
Yesterday, I tried to Install Glamour S6 ROM.Signature Verification Failed.
So, I restore my nandriod backup. But after that phone went in Bootloop.
My phone goes in download & recovery mode. I have TWRP Recovery.
I dont know why my backup is not working bcz I have checked MD5 all matched.
Everything goes fine, but phone is in bootloop.
These r the things I have tried but still in bootloop.
1)Fix Permissions
2)Download SweatROM, place in exSDcard tried to install, Installtaion complete but still phone in bootloop.
3)Restore my backup many times still bootloop.
4)Wipe data, system, cache, dalvik cache.
I have searched alot but still can't find any solution.
Anyone please help.
Is there anyway to flash CWM recovery, I think it might work.
Thank you.

Nandroid Backup Fails with extractTarFork() error

Long story short, I tried to install MultiROM on my Nexus 6P, and it failed. So I tried to restore my backup using TWRP 3.0.2.0, and it keeps failing at exactly 7800MB with the error E:extractTarFork() process ended with ERROR=255. I have seen posts talking about checking the log when this happens, but I'm not sure exactly how to do that.
What exactly do I need to do to restore my backup?
I guess I should add some detail. I first tried booting to recovery and restoring the backup. The phone rebooted into a boot loop part of the way through the restore process every time I tried that. Then, I tried flashing the phone completely back to the stock image, and then restoring. I got the error 255 above. Then, I tried flashing back to stock completely, wiping Dalvik/cache, and restoring the backup. I still get the same error message. I tried restoring everything except userdata, and the phone reboots part of the way through the restore.
I could easily reroot, reinstall Xposed, and reflash TWRP if for some reason my system backup partition is corrupted. However, I don't want to lose my data partition at all. That was the whole reason I made the backup in the first place.

Help! Stuck at Google Logo

Hi guys,
So I made a backup of everything (all the partitions including vendor/system etc.) using TWRP in the morning and restored to it from TWRP.
The restored finished and I hit 'reboot' and now I'm stuck at the white 'Google' logo and it's not proceeding from there. It's not even taking me to TWRP.
Please help!
Update: I was able to boot into bootloader and thereon into TWRP. I did a factory reset and from there restored 'System, data, vendor, and boot'. My Q is now, do I restore vendor or vendor image or both? Note that I'm restoring from Resurrection Remix to Pure Nexus, so vendor image may not be the same.
Update 2: Restored and logged into the OS. Vendor image shows N2G47W (by Beatstown for Pure Nexus). So does this mean that restoring 'vendor' is the same as restoring 'vendor image'?
I believe in twrp if you choose to backup vendor.image it creates a flash able image and if you choose vendor, that's what you restore. Try getting the vendor.img of the backup version your trying to restore from Google factory images and after you restore you backup boot back into bootloader and fastboot flash that vendor image before booting OS.

MIUI backup doesn't boot up after restoring through TWRP

So... I installed LOS & it all went fine, but when I restored my MIUI backup with TWRP, the phone is stuck on the very first boot screen (on which it says Redmi by Xiaomi) & won't move any further. I've wiped the system, data & boot partitions yet no luck. What could be wrong? I want to go back to MIUI to backup my apps
it happened to me too.
when i done updating my device to newer nightly update, i got stuck on twrp decrypt data password. trying to restore back to miui, but then getting stuck on the very first boot screen.
i got no luck when trying several times restoring twrp recovery and miui, so i stay in LOS with no other options.
if someone could help please show me the guide.
thanks
