Howto Unlock
How do i remove my simlock from my htc magic. Is there special hardware equipment needed.
I understand that the simlock mechanism is separate from the firmware mechanism.
Can somebody give met technical details?

They are already unlocked.
Vodafone edition of the HTC Magic works with all carriers, so no need to unlock

does that apply to germany as well?

celester340 - if you are in the USA you can get an unlocked Magic from ImportGSM.com - thats where I got my Rogers Magic and using it on AT&T with full 3G. If you are not in the US, the Vodafone units are the way to go..many on-line places to get those.

one of my friends picked up a htc vodafone magic for me from the UK.Im gonna be gettin it tomo.Im sorry for being daft but when u say sim unlocked,does it mean it will work on any network in the world? Or just diff networks in the country u bought it in? Im askin cause im in india and i hope it works here

warranty in HTC portugal is for 2 years so HTC provides internacionaly 2 years warraty.
Reason of selling, i got tired of the phone and want something better. Nexus one problably
Beside the phone beeing rooted in portugal the warranty works without issue, you just have to put the original SPL at least and everything will be OK.

16GB Class 6 MicroSD memory
its a 32A
its almost as new the phone, just small scratches on the backplate, you cant see but is normal of the use.
Never was overclocked.

I found ebay seller who sell unlock code for $0.99. Just use "lg quantum unlock code" or "lg c900 unlock code" as search keyword.

[Q] Softbank 305SH

hi there,
I recently bought 305SH from amazon japan, not realising that is locked to softbank japan. I dont have a softbank sim card. But i have a NTT 050 PLUS sim card.
Has anyone unlocked this phone so that i can use it with any sim card or use it anywhere in the world?
Sorry i searched but am not getting the answer. I have attached a picture of the phone.

So far there is no way to unlock it form Softbank, you can try one of those unlock sim cards,

Hi, sorry no. they only deliver within Japan. But it can still be sent from japan after it is purchased here. My friend wanted a CD but amazon wouldnt sent to US. So i bought it and then sent it to him by carrier. Its takes about 2 weeks to reach US. I dont know about india though....

Its 305SH softbank. They dont ship to India. Only within japan.

Hi guys, i normally know how to unlock a phone ive been unlocking the old S3's & S4's with no issues but over the weekend i bought a new S5 from gumtree and the woman said it was unlocked..IT WASNT! its locked to EE (UK) & when i boot it with my sim in it the phone is saying "SIM LOCKED" i have looked on this site for the past few days and seen all kinds of ideas but not one solution can anyone suggest something please? my carrier is GIFFGAFF (O2) as its a PAYG for my son, Many thanks in advance. :fingers-crossed:
