I will not flash complex and laggy MIUI anymore. I am already using xuefer's simple Lineage OS and pretty stable and will never look back to MIUI even if it is MIUI 10. xuefer did great without the release of source code for Mi Max 2 by Xiaomi. Just try it, you won't regret it. ?
Nice ROM but dont fix IR blaster, GPS is not fix on Brazil, i would like more devs and more ROM Coz The Lineage has some bugs. I dont like MIUI but its The best in moment
just waiting source code ,like you i will never back to miui

If possible tell why
Of course AOSP or RR with android 6.0, but it is to hard at now, can it be aosp 5.1.1? becouse tank0412 aosp 5.1.0 has audio issues, if port the 5.1.1 and try to fix audio I will use it
[english is not my native language, but I will try]
My vote: surprise us! My only request is a rom a bit different than cm or aosp rom, they are very simple and equal. It's great if zenfone 5 can get some new experiences. Maybe a rom with Layers support? Or a rom with more tons of personalization like rr?
Examples of roms:
crDroid
AICP 10
MoKee
MIUI (Why note? A completely new experience)
Anyway, waiting
EDIT: I can't post as a answer -.-'
I Like Cyanogenmod also SlimRoms . Seems Like Devs started fighting again over there ego problems. I am Good with Cm12.1 right now accept a bug that doesn't allow me for wcdma only mode.
XenonHD ROM

Zenfone 2 is having so many roms right now, can we get them for our Z5 and Z6?
Well, MIUI never worked before but I can try ...
6.0 I am already trying to over a week but still could not make it work c
I'm not even there to little fight, I'm here to help the community.
As they are slimroms has versions for kitkat.
And if it works for Zenfone 2 has a good chance to run for Zenfone 5
PS: I found it easier to answer all in a so response
Look I even try, but if I did would fall on saying it was another copy of the build so I prefer roms that have not yet any available version to avoid confusion
Which version of CM 12.1 are you using?
I love MIUI,it is a great looking rom,i remember when i flashed MIUI on my old S3 mini
MIUI is only one example, but I don't think is a good rom for all, because still in android kitkat. AICP and others like RR are good
@TecnoTailsPlays Tank already working in it. C'mon, roms different than aosp/cm! (with audio lag fixed)

I tried code *#*#4636#*#* for wcdma only mode but menu is unselectable, I replaced settings.apk from tank build then code and wcdma only mode works but settings gives force close so still in middle of mess.. :/ o guess sources are old of this rom. If u could then please find a fix even changing dalvik value doesn't work.

vibeui is similar to miui ...maybe dev can port k900 rom which use intel cpu into zenfone
A Stable CM11 or AOSP Kitkat. That would be so great.
a decent lite kitkat rom will be awesome along with all the lollipop based rom,
BlissPop maybe.
Is there any way that developers can port OxygenOS on to MXP.
Even though many other custom roms has all the features and even more that Oxygen.
Flyme Os is another Rom i am waiting for a long time, but the developer stopped working on that. It would be great to have one of these to have on our MXP, knowing that lenovo is not going to give us anything other than stock android.

Oxygen is nothing but modded AOSP. its similar to AOSPEX, Tesla, blah blah
after miui i bought this **** called as stock android but except camera, everything is buggy....I think everyone is searching for custom rom, do u know any serious developer who working on custom rom in mia1??
my stock mia1 is stable and working just fine.. and NOT EVERYONE is searching for a custom rom.. it seems only you're the one who's looking for it ??

This phone on oreo is buggy as hell, battery drain fast, apps crash too often and sound from headphones/spesker is unlistenable. Nougat was much better. Yes, working custom rom would be awesome, but xiaomi hasn't released sources for oreo, only for nougat. So there won't be many custom roms until thay do. You need to know that there is a big 8.2.1 official update rolling outthis month which will (we hope) fix most of this problems.
Sent from my Xiaomi Mi A1 using XDA Labs
Nobody will release a custom rom now, because the sources are for nougat. Then when android 9.0 releases, xiaomi will drop 8.0 sources, and then won't be custom roms either because 9.0 is the latest android. and so on... xD.
I'm only waiting for custom kernels at least.

Now you're just over exaggerating stuffs. I'm still getting 6-8 hours of SOT, apps doesn't crash at all and apart from the hissing sound, the sound is actually pretty nice. Lineage OS is already booting and left wth minor bugs. Just wait for it if you can't stand with current buggy stock rom.
Yeahhhhhhhh another thread. Such a productive thread.
We should make more threads like this.
Actually I'm waiting for official Pie based Resurrection Remix or AOSP Extended, but if there's a good ROM with a lots of options, I'd like to try it.
Or is it better to wait more?
I think havoc is better option for customization,,,but for a rom that is fully stable and we can really believe on that=aosp extended,,, now it is in alpha phase wait for beta.
Why i am choosing aosp ex because it has the stability,, performances,,, like in gaming you can belive on pe or aosp thats all... No one can beat them..
But if you want rom for only personalization, and want now then go with havoc... Its ok.
I don't know anything about developing roms. The only thing i can do is to flash them . It might sound like a stupid question but, is it possible for developers to make an oxygen OS based rom for the mi9t.
I've seen OOS port for another Xiaomi phone, but 9T/K20 never.
If you find let me know.

Yes it is. Good luck in bugging a dev to do that, however.
Best change to get it, is installing the GSI version.
Even the sGSI from Poco F1 is compatible, but they all have bugs.
Last time I installed it (op 7 pro port), fingerprint didn't work, don't remember the other bugs, but it was unusable.
