I have never been a "I need the latest patch now" expect for the September patch that fixed some big vulnerabilities like blueborne.
Do you think we will see it in the next few weeks?

Nah, with that bluetooth security issue I was expecting the next update to include the security patch as well.
So I am using the Armis vulnerability scanner and it said vulerable until yesterdays update to v1.05, and now it says "safe" .How is this possible?

Don't be That exploit has been around for years. Moat of the security holes in these updates have been around since day 1 of android. Google just pushes them to make people think they are worried about security.

Hey friends,
We know there is a lot of excitement in the community surrounding the Lollipop updates for the One, and for good reason. We are just as excited as you are.
We never intended to keep you waiting. Unfortunately, we ran into some unexpected roadblocks. First, there was an unforeseen OS signing issue, which has recently been resolved. Our camera module had stability issues on Lollipop, and we had to rebuild it for compatibility. Several other crucial drivers, including our Wi-Fi drivers, also needed to be updated to work flawlessly with the upgrade. Admittedly, it took a little more time than we had planned, but we only release updates that we are proud of; that means refusing to take shortcuts or deliver sub-par experiences.
With all of that in mind, here are the official release dates for Android Lollipop on the OnePlus One:
CM 12S: The official OTA update for the OnePlus One will be released on or before March 30, 2015
OxygenOS: The official release of our own Lollipop-based ROM will be available for download on or before March 27, 2015
To show you how serious we are about this commitment to our community, we are prepared to put our money where our mouth is. If we miss either one of these deadlines, we will give away five (5) 64GB OnePlus One devices to our fans. Reply to this thread to be eligible.
It’s our little way of saying thank you for being patient and for joining us on our journey to create amazing, user-driven experiences.
Never Settle.

Sony has 6.0 test builds already, operators should be getting them for acceptance tests.
I'm not personally testing them since I'm "stuck" with retails devices at the moment and no sorry I can't tell you how to get it.
I see. So do you think we will get "concept" version of 6.0 just like Z3 and Z3C soon?
I'm receiving an update now...don't know what it is yet!
Z5C was on 6.152 and as of yesterday is now on 6.200
My Z5P on 6.170, so the new update might be 6.200, putting everyone on the same version.

Check Sony's developer's website for instructions on how to unlock your BL and flash AOSP 6.0. I would just wait though. It's rumored to be officially released OTA in a month or two. Then you wouldn't need to lose your DRM keys.

I can see the binaries, is there an actual build that is flashable? I haven't seen one yet for my Z5P. I have 6.0 on another phone and would love to see a working build for this one. If you can point me toward the download, i would appreciate it.

I think Sony may hold off and move to a once yearly now. There have been no substantial Z6 leaks and we usually see something within a month before MWC.

Huh? How do you come to that conclusion?
I guess the update will be with us either this month or next month. Either way we get it soon. The phone works fine ATM so there's no rush.
At this stage every year we usually see a leak of sufficient substance to show a phone will be released. So far nothing. All the leaks are just rumours.
Also at the start of last year Sony was asked whether they were going to move to yearly.... They said 'not yet' (the Z3+ then came out.)
If anything, the Z6 will be the same as the Z5 lineup with a change of SoC. Design change will be later in the year.
Any news? Does we get MM before or after MWC?
真的吗really?

It's now mid-February and we're still on the November security update. Several high-risk exploits have been found and patched in the subsequent months, but we're left exposed. Anyone know if we have any legal remedy for AT&T's dereliction?
Well there is a android N build out now on Xda with the latest February security patch so I doubt AT&T has abandoned support.

I'm glad xda has not abandoned support, but that doesn't excuse AT&T for failing to push out the updates.

Not sure why. Several days elapsed between those two posts. And while It's good that we have this update, three months is still too long to wait for monthly security updates.

The pure irony of the 2 comments less than 1/2 hour apart
that doesn't excuse AT&T for failing to push out the updates.

Well, both comments are accurate, but you're right that the timing was amusing.
Nougat came last night for me, shame it takes months for such high quality and priced phones
This is where you guys will spread information about any OTA software updates Honor sends, or any new info from the FF app. This will be easier for people to navigate through rather than having people constantly post a new thread for every update (whether it'd be security patches, etc.), which can get repetitive for some people hence why I'm doing this. Hopefully this makes things easier for everyone.
I should also mention that whatever existing thread out there related to this is fine but anything afterwards should just be put here.
No
Don't tell others where to post. In fact, I hope 20 new threads open up after every single update.

If you like to see a bunch of new threads for every update then by all means let it be. I just thought I'd make everyone's lives easier by just checking one thread for every update. You don't have to be an arse if someone's trying to change something for the better, and no I'm not trying to force anything down anyone's throat. People said it was annoying and I thought I'd make a simple solution.

You're not. The forums for the 8 are dead. No ROMs being released, just a bunch of whiners complaining about Oreo. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Just saying.

Well we can't be the ones to be blamed here since I'm sure you and I don't act up unlike some people, which is why they're dead in the first place. Over the years I've noticed that just prior to a release of a Preview or incremental numeric progression, Google's apps undergo a flurry of updates. Seems like there's been a ton of updates to Google apps over the last week or so. Just speculating. Wanted to point it out. I think we're going to see one or the other on the first March Monday or Wednesday. The first P Preview was released on March 7 (a Wednesday) last year.
You definitely have a point, all of a sudden almost all Google apps are getting updates. Let's see what we have in store for us.
Cheers
March is very likely. The last 3 previews have been released in March.
