So what is the lowest price at the moment? And from whom?

Here in the Netherlands, you can get one for €470 total, by using a 0-minute 12months subscription from KPN. That's a one-time €320 purchase and 12 months of €12.50.
Not bad eh?

Just been told by an HTC dealer in London they are about to increase to £549 sim free due to the dollar. I paid £529 last week.

Nop... I'm looking for sim free and those that can delivered to the US.

Paid 505 pounds including shipping for mine. Getting it tomorrow

Paid £450 for mine.. then again I managed to get it at cost price due to 'connections' (no not dodgy)
But the cheapest OFFICIAL place is via play.com if you use a 5% off code = £475 delivered

£120 + 12 months £30 contract, minus £40 quidco = £440
Needed a new contract anyway, so pretty good timing.

Play.com have changed the price of this handset a few times - it was £549, then £499, then went back up to £519 before coming down again.
£474.99 is the price you pay after the RAC discount voucher.

That would be £455 or $686.

I got my HD for 475 pounds including tax and delivery. If that is what we are talking about.

edit: well just went to live.com then it took me to ebay and yeah its all clearly stated in the t&c once you click on the image for microsoft cashbacks

interesting its reduced same amount at JL, Currys etc (excepting promo code) - glad I didn't get one at full RRP at release as it seems quite a drop in price ?

I always thought the RRP was seriously overpriced, Amazon UK are selling the black version for £279

I bought mine from John Lewis.
It took exactly 2 weeks from applying to getting the code.

I've just received my £100 credit, after almost three weeks.

For me, I'll be most likely getting mine from ebay seller never-msrp who is located in US and imports the phones.

I'll wait and see what Sony is asking on their site. Possibly go the eBay route, Amazon, expansys, or Clove. Currently clove is taking pre-orders at ~$610 USD including shipping, eBay is about $630.

I got my Sony Xperia Z1 from http://www.clove.co.uk/sony-xperia-z3-compact last time and had zero issues getting it on time and they also do bundles too.
I plan to get the Z3 Compact from them once they get them in stock mid Sept 2014. imo totally worth it since the imported versions usually have nearly all 3G/LTE bands needed too.

I might buy it from ebay. Ebay sends me offers for 4X ebay bucks offers once in a while, which is essentially 8% off.

For us US buyers we dont pay VAT so it is 290 pounds + shipping. Shipping is cheaper at handtec.

You're forgetting customs fees and taxes in each country.
I bought my Le Max 2 32GB Rosegold in January for 190€ from gearbest (promotion) using priority line shipping, so no stopping in customs or additional taxes.

Good choice :good: I think this is the best option. 4gb of RAM is more than enough, 64gb of storage will suffice for most folks and grey is a nice color for any phone (I'm still trying to hide the rose gold with cases :cyclops: )

Can anyone give me a word or two about camera quality? Seems that reviews on internet are a bit mixed up, some say it's excellent, some say it's bad.
