[Q] ICS rom preference

I'm looking for a daily use rom, something that will give good battery life, have working gps and few issues as an actual phone.
Most of my daily tasks on the phone are small games, browsing, social media stuff, but would love to have better battery life and have my gps work better while running. (realize maybe no roms will do this).
I guess the best way to put this which ICS rom would you recommend that has the best battery life and stability - or which is the most stable / mature.
Thanks
The best way is to find it's by yourself...most of the ICS builds are solid, like ICZen, Euphoria or Miui...finally it's a question of feeling and having the opportunity to choose between so many ics roms it's a privilege that many android users don't have it...so don't let the others choose for you
I guess that is kind of the point of the thread - I don't want to go through and test a ton of them, I'd like to get a sense of what others have found to be solid releases and focus on one of them.
I'd like something close to a bare stock ICS install that functions solidly on the vibrant.
ok in that case if you want something solid with great support and regular updates try ICZen by Br1ck'd....
I've really been liking slim ics, battery life is about the same as froyo too. Really stable and quick

hi ,
I like Omega Rom , fast , stable...good battery life ( depending in your settings)
You must be Kidding
So far by my BEST knowledge (Maybe I know a little or wrong),
there's NOTHING called as MOST STABLE ROM. It is your choice of flavors: PERFORMANCE VS FEATURES VS BATTERY LIFE etc.
WANAM, OMEGA, ECHOE, AOSB and a lot of stable ROMs are out there that you can use as a daily driver. Developers are working hard to give you a customized taste of your choice to the Android.

Post of the day :highfive:

Which Rom can you recommend?

Hey guys!
I'm looking for the Rom with the best performance. so it should be smooth no lag, no scrolling lags, no stutters. Responsive. Also the battery should be awesome. Looking for around 6 hours SOT. I do not care for themes/xposed etc.. just battery and performance.
Any tried all the different roms and could give me some advice? Please do not say that I should try it myself and find out.
I want your opinion!
Tnx in advance!!
Cheers,
Dimitri

Hello @Dimitri178
I understand you would like to know wich is the best rom, and that you do not want to hear this...but it is better for you to try them. There are not many so give it a shot and see what works best for you. I am saying this because what I like, you would probably dislike. In my experience it is a matter of taste and real life experiments. So start flashing and test them.
Try these three and see wich one fits you better: Sweet Rom; Wanamlite and maybe X-Note
Best of luck!
I love mine (FireKatN4 v7) but you may hate it. It's stable and fast with great battery life.

[Question] Which is overall the best oreo rom?

Hey guys, I've been bit off from this forum, and currently running Validus Nougat ROM on my Le 2. Just wanted to know which Oreo Rom is best and stable in terms of performance and battery life since I wanted to update. Thanks in advance.
In my opinion it's XenonHD. Very good battery life and it's pretty stable. Google camera is a lot stable than other oreo ROMs (currently using google camera from one of the posts in the mods section here in this forum and OpenCamera). I think it's worth a try.

How's the overall performance? Is it any better compare to other roms? Cause every Oreo Ron I tried had sluggish performance and only Validus Nougat ROM feels fluid till date.
Performance is really good. Everything opens fast and gaming performance is awesome too (demanding games will drain the battery fast).

Which is the best ROM based on smoothness and battery life?

Well, the title is pretty self-explanatory. Which ROM do you advise based on its smoothness and battery life? I'd like to keep the rom for a long time, so I'd like ROMs that continue to be supported in time. Thanks!
In my experience (tested global 11.0.0.1, eu stable 10.0.6.0, eu beta 9 12 12) and the last one was the smoothest, best working in performance although battery life is not that great as I wish).
The worst was stable eu 10.0.6.0 dont know why...
Pixel Experience (Official) with hasty kernel is good enough for me.
I would like to know as well

I prefer Pixel Experience Plus. Great performance and battery life

In my experience, the difference in smoothness and battery life between different roms of a similar base is negligible, however, stock roms tend to be slightly better.
