Hi Fellow Members,
Seeing many post on the development threads in all section which are not completely relevant with the development but sometime due to normal bootloader unlock, FRP unlock, root issues, even normal discussion on OTA etc which flood the development thread sometimes and if a new users come up with any issue or any question, they need to repost as the thread is long and extending multiple pages and they could not find the solution or answer of the same in all those pages, even though answered few times but due to more number of pages or just because new users are not aware of how search works on XDA they repost the same thing.
So, I though of creating this new thread so that we can discuss all development related and little off topics related with ROM in this thread and keep the development thread clean enough so that it is purely for development related questions and really critical and important stuffs with sufficient logs etc.
Please continue discussion on any ROM, recovery, TWRP etc in this thread and lets keep the development thread clean enough.

I have a SM-G975U and I wanted to know if flashing the modem of the SM-G975U1 unlocked my phone for any operator. If it is possible to do it, do you think they can leave the files of the modem of the SM-G975U1 to download? the binary of my phone is U7.
Flashing firmware does not Sim unlock your device. U1 firmware is unbranded firmware which doesn't mean Sim unlocked
