Stripes on photos made with ring lamp - Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions and Answers

As above. Problem occurs when taking photo with light produced by particular ring lamp (refer to photos for lamp details). Issue occurs both for S8 and S8+. Do you know how to fix it? I've tried every camera mode and every setting in professional mode. Videos are also affected. Note 4, iPhones and BlackBerry Priv do not have this issue.

This is probably caused by the frequency of the AC power in your home (50/60Hz)

Is it possible that no other lamp causes the issue?
Edit: OK, so aiming the camera straight into a light bulb also causes the issue.

I tried downloading another app but its the same,
Any solution?
Update: When I go to *#0*# and use the camera the picture is clear!
Still didn't find a solution.
The camera works great on the *#0*# menu - any other app I use have the EVT or CAL error :X
Installing a new rom is my only option?
First wipe and factory reset
If that doesn't work, try to upload a new rom via Odin

Photos are blurry that I take with s5

I got the s5 a few weeks ago and the pictures are kind of blurry . if you zoom in they look fuzzy. Is this normal for this phone ? I'm using CM ROM.
Thanks

I can only tell you what I have read so this is secondhand knowledge. There is a noise reduction problem it seems on all CM roms. The problem lies in that the s5 camera drivers are closed source. The only way to get the best quality unfortunately is to use a TouchWiz Rom using the native drivers. So it's up to you I'm in the same predicament. Do I run TouchWiz to have working Bluetooth better camera or stay on CM for speed.

Yes. It's cm rom problem. Samsung api it's better.

Stripes on screen after waking up

Hi,
I've got problem with screen. After waking up the phone stripes are visible on the screen. When I turn off and on screen everything is okay. I've thought that messenger causes that, but even without installed messenger the problem exists. Any idea how to fix it?
I did factory reset and it didn't help.

I get the same thing on mine, only very rarely and different stripes (vertical) after I rooted/twrp'ed/xposed it. Could that be it?

That was hardware problem. New device coming from Huawei

Storage location of "Moments" movies

On my EMUI 9 (Honor 10) there is a camera option called "Moments" which is similar to iPhone Live Photos. I would like to copy these animated pics to my PC, but I can't find where they are stored. The photos are in the DCIM folder, but no trace of a movie in there. Anyone knows?
They are stored on the same path but as a jpg file. It will be moving object only in default gallery.

The movie is stored in the image file and only huaweis Galerry app is programmed to read it. In EMUi 10.1 under three dots there are options: save as GIF, save as Video. If there aren't, here are some solutions I've imagined:
•Record the screen while its running
•try to search online for apps that convert Huawei life photos to mp4 But I don't know if they exist

You need a sim card inserted in the phone.
