Hi. I have bought a Nokia 6 from a local shop in Bangladesh which has no System Update option in About Phone section. I chat with Nokia support and they told me that my phone has a Chinese version which has country restrictions.
Can anyone help me to solve this issue? How can I remove the country restriction?
Have you tried just searching "System Update" and running it that way? Does it find any updates? What's the build number?

Setup ~ Software Update (System Update)
As Nokia told you, Chinese versions with modified software won't get any updates. We have to wait until other users manage to flash an original rom or custom rom to the Nokia so it will get unlocked.

There is no "System Update" in my 'About Phone' menu. The build number is: 00CN_3_170
This is a Chinese version. Maybe that is the reason. I was looking for a solution to this issue. I want to get system update regularly.

That's not what I said. Search for the app using the Google search widget. It should come up in a search allowing you to launch it that way. I suspect it will say there's no updates though.

Yeah. I think that means your firmware isn't the official one. Nokia told me that happens when the firmware has been tampered with. I had one like that and wound up returning it. If you are close to a Nokia service center, they'll flash the original firmware on it.

Talked with nokia support. They told me that TA-1000 is for chinese market and they cannot change the firmware to global. :crying::crying:

Just scroll down until you find a list of links under "Android devices" title. Choose the one that corresponds to the Android version you have.
Seriously, you just have to scan the page looking for the correct version for you.
It's an apk file, open with a file manager such as ES Explorer and you should be fine.

The process is very simple, you just need to connect the smartphone to PC and to run .exe file. Then press 1 to install drivers, and after that press 2 to get Google Play. Before all actions make sure, that you are in developer mode and USB debugging is turned on. To activate the developer mode go to Settings - About phone, and tap 5 times to "Software version", then go to Settings - Developer options - USB debugging.

It isn't really about Russia v USA but at least with websites in English I can judge whether a source is reputable or not. I can't find any information on Allnokia.ru so think it's safer to follow the instructions in the other thread for getting Google Play on the X2.

I got the same thing, it seems to be just stuck at boot because some required service isn't starting properly.
You can still connect to your device with adb and go to /system/app and delete Vending.apk (and perhaps also GoogleCalendarSyncAdapter.apk GoogleLoginService.apk and GoogleServicesFramework.apk ) files and your device will boot, albeit without google services.
Your other option is to reflash.
I can confirm that this tools can root the 2.1 update safely[emoji106]

Honestly, I would uninstall AntimalwareByte from your phone. Then I would uninstall handservices.apk because I have gone through the ZTE system files and have not come across that .apk file ever. Maybe it IS malware. Let's see what else people say in your thread.

Just saw the screen shot is german... that means you should have the EU version, A2017G, right?
Maybe @rikin93 could check if he got it on his EU device also...

No Adware in there... But i think its because it is a "AI App" and i think it sends the questions to ZTE server, so i think this is the part, who is detected as a trojan

I will delete it and watch, if something won't work afterwards.

Yes, it was put on the Huawei server within the last 24 hours.
It's the same as the Russian C10B156 update.
It's still not possible to install, but will be soon.

Yes, but it's not on Huawei's servers yet, and online update/OTA update is not out. Maybe this week. Strangely, the European is yet to be seen, even though European was first for other updates.

It can't be installed with firmware finder unless Huawei approved the update for your device. You can install it with tools which cost money, or wait and see if Huawei will make it available to your device.

Yes, just insert what the app says and it works. The only thing is that when you update with this method it seems the version number on the systems doesn't change ( but the rest does ).
İs there any variant of this rom for C432B... (Europe devices)?
