Just got this night update B225...change almost nothing except security patch from 5 July 2017...
I have got b225 long time ago, my p10 got wifi calling and volte but not my mate 9 pro yet

I saw this update in FF but was not able to update, always problem with authentication...

Only the baltic and nordic regions received it. It has started to rollout to other regions today. For D5803 that is. No news for D5833 yet.

Does the Spanish ROM display 4G or LTE?
I've got used to the LTE icon on my Europe Kitkat rom but not sure which country it came from unfortunately.
Sorry, can't tell, my service provider doesn't have 4G yet.
Czech republic, only Info-eye update, no Lollipop yet.

Unbranded updates or with a mobile carrier?
In my case, unbranded.
I spoke to Sony Mobile UK "support" today on their horrible webchat service.
As usual, I typed my question in on the first screen when asked.. and they completely ignored it and asked me again by the time I got to the main chat session. Plus their responses were slow, unhelpful and they didn't know anything.
I love my phone - but I loathe the lack of support at the customer level.

I just checked Xperifirm and lollipop had been released in quite a few countries for unbranded devices now.
Central Europe 1 seems to be the KitKat ROM I'm using, no lollipop on the Sony server for that one just yet.

I just checked, and have it available. I'm in the USA, on AT&T, using a D5803 I imported from the UK.
Pumped to get a prerooted one to flash soon.

Unbranded.
There are no branded firmwares in Russia.
Upgraded to 5.0.2 via Pc Companion in France with Orange cell network
Download in progress via pc compagnion , France via free mobile network
Has the German Version been released yet?
I own a 5803 and won't receive the update via OTA or the Sony Bridge for mac. Always tells me I am up to date
Can anyone help. I have recently purchased a sim free P10 plus from an eBay seller. I wanted to use the 4g super voice feature on the UK 3 mobile network. After setting the phone up it appears this feature is not working. I have contacted 3 and they have told me it is not available on my phone. I have also contacted huawai and they have not been able to help. Can anyone offer any assistance as this is a feature I really want. Is rooting the way to go?
Is this the same as WiFi calling? If so you need to be on latest firmware I'm on B152 and go to settings/more and under heading calling network there is option to use WiFi calling.
I'm on 3 and according to web site it shows the p10+ as compatible and you can enter postcode to check if available in your area.
I used Google and searched 4g supervoice and followed this link http://www.three.co.uk/Discover/Features/what-is-4g-super-voice

Of course you will, but it may take some time. right here in Brazil is still not officially available. I downloaded the BTU (UK) version, and the performance and battery life is very good.
what you can do is use the BTU version or use a rom with android 8.

in 4g the battery behaves rudely. I never let the battery end up using only the 4g. when I'm on the street, I use 4g and in places I use wifi. the battery is on average with an activated screen time of 5h. since my smartphone is more than a year old, I find the battery performance quite satisfactory.
I just got the notice today ??. Anyone else??
im just surprised this phone is getting updates at this point.,.. because most of them have the gps issue and thats an outright dealbreaker for most people.

You don't need to use Verizon's simcard. Just connect to wifi and check for update. Im on oreo since 29 Sept.

I connected to Russia via a VPN.
Then did update check - found the update and applied it (whilst disconnected from VPN)
I'm also on O2 but brought the device sim free and not via O2
These days O2 do not lock phones (and for those that are locked they generally give free unlock codes)

I tried the same thing but no luck, maybe it's because O2 deals with the update and not Oppo, being bought on a contract.
Do you have the option to change your region in settings? I can only change the language.

Mate...use URBAN VPN from Play Store.
Open it. Select India. Leave it running until data starts coming through.
Go to Settings>>>Software Update
Done. No need to change your phone's region or language.
I'm in UK and did it this way to update to c.28

still nothing, It might be because I bought it from O2 on contract and it might be the carrier that deals with the update, other than that I don't see any explanation

mine is the 5g version and I think it's carrier exclusive type of stuff, because even in the build number it's CPH1921 O2 A.21.
I had phones from them a long time but I thought they were done with those custom software put on top.
last phone I had from them was the OnePlus 5T and usually there was no delay with software updates

Yeah...looks like it could be carrier specific if it has O2 in the firmware name. I assume there are O2 apps preinstalled?

I was thinking...if the device could somehow pickup the latest global non-O2 version, you may be able to update better from there.
However...if the device us locked to O2 you won't be able to.
To check locking to carrier...try another carrier SIM if you can

It works with other sim, and I tried wifi update through recovery but nothing.
I downloaded the lastest version available here:

I did manage to install it through recovery but it seems it's only the May security patch

It's all that's available then at the moment.
Not sure if any other 5G user has managed an update.
