The problem is that: I can't see the content of the messages, the message only says "Whatsapp" and when selecting it says "1 new message" but nothing else. I have a xiaomi redmi note 3 pro withLineageOS (Android N) and Mediatek Smartdevice app.

I've already disabled the sms conversation mode, but the sms message still displays the content when I received it. Can I disable that function?

I was on CM 6.1 and whenever I receive a text message it was clear and using handcent SMS
Now with CM 7.0 whenever I receive a text message it says "The media content was not included due to a picture resolution or message size restriction"
Any tips?

Finally a fix!!
Go to stock messaging system and for custom user agent I selected the "Blackberry 8800".
Every picture comes out very clear. No longer blurry and ish.

Hello everyone! I've bought a new Huawei P8 Lite, formerly I was using Huawei Honor 3c, the problem that I'm having on P8 Lite is whenever I want to forward a text message to anyone, a line automatically added before the content of text message, that is, "Forwarded from sender's name/number" and then the text message. I was able to disable that option on my Huawei Honor 3C by just going to the Messages Settings and in Advanced, I was able to see a setting showing 'Show Sender When Forwarding Message' and I disable it, but unable to find this setting on Huawei P8 Lite (on EMUI 4.0 and Android Marshmallow 6.0) and now it's getting really annoying. Can anybody please help?

Essential PH-1 on pie and Huawei Honor note 10 on 9 - both have popup notifications turned off but continue to popup no matter what window I'm on (except on that WhatsApp chat). Have tried but individual and group settings in WhatsApp and app settings.
Anyone have similar problem?
