I made a website as a curtesy for a friend, it's about his event venue.
Now he has the problem that he can not access his website with his Asus ZenFone 3. He thinks it's the web site, I think it's his phone I don't have such a device but access works with Apple and other android ...
I checked, it has internet connectivity in general but can't access the site (I even don't see any information in the site's log-files).
It might be that the phone was previously connected to a mis-configured wifi network /with name server issues).
Are there any known issues with the Asus ZenFone 3?

I seem to have problems connecting to the internet. I currently have Internet Max and the only sites I can browse is Google.co.uk, Three.co.uk and the My3 Account page. I can also access the internet via google's web to mobile feature but sometimes it doesnt work.
I noted that in other forums people recommend getting x-series. But to me I dont think it will help me as I cant seem to even access the internet. It seems like I'm stuck on 3's intranet? I've also had a samsung F700 with the same problem. called up 3 but they say the phone I'm using is just not supported. But they did try to help me with my F700. I havent called them yet about my tytn ii yet?
I've set up the internet with just the apn as three.co.uk

try some vpn like hotspot shield,maybe their site is blocked in your country
mine is downloading perfectly ,and i am using Windows 10 x64bit

The touchpad function works really smoothly and seamlessly - better than established 3rd party apps like Splashtop. I guess with that huge pile of ASUS bloat, something had to turn out useful eventually

register your phone to asus website..email them

I just got my 6p 2 days ago and it's still without rooting or even a 3rd app and I have a really Sirius problem some websites doesn't open when I'm on my home WiFi but it's open without problems on mobile network .. on the other side my mate 7 open them over same network!
Please help me with that it's drive me crazy
Which sites? Do they open with a browser refresh?
no bro .. Simply I do Google search when I hit a link for some sites it doesn't open put its open over 3g or my mate 7 hotspots but not my WiFi at same time when I use my mate7 over the same WiFi it's open
I suppose it depends on the sites! Sounds like your router is blocking your phone from accessing the web. Did you sign in via the pin/password or use WPS? Some routers use a limited guest account for WPS.
I don't think it's caused by the router other ways how the other Mobile works with same router

We have 6 devices over the same network all works good but not my Nexus 6p
Of course it could be the router. Each device uses a different IP address and has a unique Mac address. Each device can be given different permissions based on Mac address and/or login type.
Have you looked at your router settings? Have you tried forgetting the network and then signing in again? You need to try different things to remove possibilities.

Yes bro I try everything .. Forgetting the network and restarting both the Mobile and router and my settings on the router it's the standard I believe no limitation settings has been done only the wifi key which I mentioned before

Do you think The DNS hase something to do such things opening some site and not opening some other I couldn't find the DNS settings in the Nexus even under developers options

I am trying to have my kids Note 3 to go through the OpenDNS service for parental control, specifically, Youtube blocking.
I subscribed to the free OpenDNS service and tested it with WIndows 10 computers, Galaxy S7, Ipnone 4 and Ipod 4 devices. It works great. But my kids have each a Galaxy Note 3 on Android 5 (not rooted) and it doesn't work. Here is what it does:
I put the OpenDNS ip addresses in my DD-WRT router.
I attempt to connect to the WIFI, the connection is established.
A prompt asks me if I want to open the application with Internet or Google Chrome (makes no difference which one i choose)
Once I made a choice, a Google search page opens up, just like a portal page when you connect to a hotel WIFI network.
Leaving the page openbed or closing it won't make a difference, I will loose connectivity to the WIFI within minutes and it will not reconnect automatically.
Putting the DNS addresses on the Device connection or on the router will do the same problem.
I am in Canada and my ISP is Videotron, the Notes 3 are Bell Canada provided but they have no SIM card inside, the kids only use WIFI.
I tried putting the Norton ConnectSafe DNS IPs and it worked fine. The problemis that I want OpenDNS because it's more customizable.
What is it with these Notes 3 that causes a problem with OpenDNS?

So far all good
While all my devices (tablets ... smart tv ... mobile) are normally connected to wifi ..... my main cellphone samsung note 4 910c is routed and with custom rom ... after connecting it has internet for 2-3 minutes later it hangs It does not open any pages or applications that need internet
The only thing I could see in my router's interface made the impression is that the mobile only doesn't write ipv6 address while on other devices it writes properly (I don't know if it's related to the problem)
I've reset the router
On the mobile not yet
Do you have any other idea what might be wrong? Thanks
check wifi mode or anything where you can see what is used e.g. "g/n and a/n/ac" and then experiment with lower/different setting that might be compatible
