I live in Canada and would like to buy the best version Moto z force that I can, so if anyone could tell me the model number that works best with Telus in Canada that would be great. I googled and found info on the moto z but not the force editions. I seem to be running across xt1650m & xt1650-02 as the prominently displayed ads on eBay. Also if given the choice between a pixel XL or z force would you still go the same route?.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Everyone, I've just got Moto X Pure and I have doubts regarding its origin.
Model name is XT1579 - I didn't found no information regarding it
and it has a sign 'G1F' to the right of fhe bottom speaker. just below the screen.
Do you have any doubts if this is developer edition or what?
It has 45Gb of available storage. So this is 64Gb version
What I received from support is
The phone is a Moto X pure - a model made exclusively for the USA market - it is actually a proptotype for a newer model to come.

The only info is from earlier this summer in Asia about some sort of prototype. I wonder if it was actually an earlier version of the ones that made it to the market?

Interesting. Where did you get the phone from?
Quite Interesting. Is your device still packed with SD808? Or SD810?
Its 808, I bought it on hands of some guy in Ukraine, he sais it was bought on US ebay
Does anyone have the bands list that is in the UK Xc? The US version doesn't have the fingerprint scanner so it may be worth it. I know warranty isn't going to be there but I'm fine with it.
Here's Clove's page on the XC with the supported bands.
https://www.clove.co.uk/sony-xperia-x-compact
Ordered it at Clove and working great here in California on AT&T. LTE speeds and fingerprint scanner.
Just received my X Compact (universe black) from Clove via DHL today. I ordered it Sunday. I paid £332.83 (including£17 for DHL delivery) total, so about $430 or so. It came with the USB charger that has the UK style plug.
I brought both the Z3 Compact & Z5 Compact so I figured I had to get the X Compact as well.
I will be using the X Compact on At&t as soon I get some sort of case. I've booted up the phone with my At&t sim and it found a 4G signal.
Can't you just buy the US version and flash UK or other firmware that has the fingerprint scanner active? They're signed by Sony so you don't invalidate any warranties. That's what I did for my Z5 compact - no bootloader unlocking or rooting required, it was just like flashing an upgrade. And it worked a treat! There's UK and Nordic firmwares on XperiFirm already, and the US one in case you want to go back. Just a thought for possibly easier returns, less international hassle etc., although I admit the price from clove is comparable to US Amazon.
Thanks for the replies. I've never flashed anything and I'm a little embarrassed to say I don't even know how. I'm on Tmobile so I'll have to check that band 12 is supported. Actually the clove unit is cheaper than the US version.
Looks like they have all the bands but missing frequency 700. Anyone know if this makes a difference? Btw, Let my know how you guys like the phone as you use it. There isn't much info yet online.
Does anyone know if the (frequency) matters on this? I'm just not sure and would like to import a UK model

Hi,
i have few units motorola moto x pure edition no service
i have flash with xt1575 , xt1572 , xt1570 still no service 11 units same problem
any help please
i have attach some boot loader picture
Umm... those are clearly Moto test engineering units XT1578 that was never released, there was some talk of them last fall. No idea how people got them, but the same thing at that time, no ROM worked at all, and they never could get them to work properly. This was actually intended to be a Verizon specific Moto X version if I recall correctly, but Verizon turned it down... it used different radios and firmware than "standard" Moto X models. Since it never went into production, there was never a ROM produced or released by Motorola.
What you have here is a fancy piece of history... Nostalgic maybe but not usable if they don't function out of the box.

Hey Everyone,
I got a question, unable to find the answer for that from 7 days continuously searching it and it is confusing me a lot.
BACKGROUND
I am a old Motorola lover guy before the android come, last Motorola I have is the Milestone very low end old phone (and I still love that quality of it over the year put that phone on extream abuse and it is still working and I can use it to call and sms and WiFi hotspot, regardless only one column on its touch works rest of column are dead) and I shifted to HTC and LG mostly over the years, last I bought the LG V10 loved its camera but not liked it width due to metal bars on side and friend bought it from me after 3 days so all got well, was searching for V20 to buy next as it is same thing with better design and no metal bars and I stumble upon the Moto Z phones and liked them to be of good size as seeing on internet not actually held in my hand any of it, going into depth I found Z is a family not a single phone.
MOTO Z: I liked the Moto z and found that it have 2 models Moto Z droid and Moto Z - nice specs, QHD display, nice physical size, slimmest phone but not like the camera 13 MP boo
MOTO Z PLAY: liked the phone and camera #thumbs up, processor is low display is only HD it is improvement from my current device LG Optimus G but not huge margin, have root on the the ones with moto logo great still not like the processor and GPU.
MOTO Z FORCE: now that is the moto z family phone I loved processor of the Z and the camera of the Z Play, now this here come the catch stupid verison is sitting on it like a snake and here come the question.
MAIN QUESTION
During my search I found that Moto Z Force is not just a US VERISON version there is same phone with the 2 sim card going around in market with the same name but there is no mention of 2 sim Z force anywhere on motorola website. Z and Z Play and the unlocked version (I am guessing the bootloader unlocked not network lock) and both phones are working root access but there is mention of Moto Z Force is a lot of places from post in 2016 that unlocked version will be available by the end of the year and it is now 2017 and I can't find that information anywhere.
How many variant Moto Z Force have even if the 2 sim phone is actually a motorola Z Force or it is fake? I want to buy this phone and want to know what I am getting into a single sim Moto Z Force with Driod written on the camera and or 2 sim phone this thing is confusing, what I should buy? Is there is the unlocked phone Z Force available now as of July 2017 if yes what it is called?
XT1650
XT1650-01
XT1650-02
XT1650-03
XT1650-04
XT1650-05
XT1650M
What all these means which one is original Moto Z Force and which one is not US version only
---
Thanks
I bought XT1650-02 Moto Z Force Sim unlocked it's Verizon, I'm using it in Egypt for 6 months now, this phone has the higher Moto Z specs
