When I upgraded to Oreo, for some reason my phone will not light up the blinking notification colors. Does Oreo have these disabled by default, and if so, how do i enable them?

I'm on Lollipop 5.1.1 (LMY48I) Notification light doesn't work. I opened the notification light in settings. And im always using Lightflow app but this time cant work.
sorry but i can't help you out with this problem but thought i'd mention that i'm on the same version of lollipop and my notification light is working fine, if it was working fine before you updated to lmy481 then it's most probably a coincidence that it stopped after the update
Hi,
On my S7 edge with Nougat BTU, when I receive a notification (with no other notifications in the notification shade) - it isn't auto expanded as it used to be in MM.
I tested this on a Nexus 5X running 7.1 and there it works fine.
Anyone else has this issue or has any idea how to fix it?
Thanks
I'm on the Hong Kong version which just got 7.0 update from yesterday. I've tried wiping cache and turned on sounds for apps (although I keep the sound on silent at the system level) but there's no notifications via the light.
Anyone had this issue and solution? Thanks.
Turn on LED notifications. Go to Display>scroll down to LED indicator.

Thanks but I had it on already. However I turned on notification reminder and it seems to work but with slightly different behaviour to the previous version of Android. Eg the rate of blinking is incredibly slow.
All around very odd.
I have Light Flow which used to allow me to customize the LED for different applications but I am unable to do so after the latest update.
Is anybody else facing issues with the LED notification light access?
