Hi all! This is my first time joining this site and I'm super excited to be a part of this community. I was wondering if anyone had any cool rom suggestions for the Note 4 n910c model. I can't seem to find that many roms out there for my exynos variant. I have been using the ditto note 7 rom for the past few months. Looking for a change. Thanks!

Hi Guys,
i would like to ask if anyone knows what ROM is compatible with this version of Note 3, it's a China Mobile phone and still running on 4.3 stock.
So far nothing is popping up to go to 4.4.2 so i thought why not ask the guys
This version has LTE on board by the way
Thanks a lot

In fact, there is a CM11 version for N9008V based on 4.4.2 that works quite well besides a few impromptu reboots.
There is also a Samsung-based ZHUENE3 4.4.2 rom that was released three days ago, that I have yet to test.
They are quite easy to find on Chinese websites like tdbeta.cn...With Google Translate, I am able to find my way...
I am not senior enough to post the links though...
Please bear in mind that installing these roms will set-off your warranty bit...

Actually the official HLTE CM12, as well as CM11, work very well on N9008V
Can someone please tell me what is the difference between the following two threads:
Galaxy S 4 i9500 Original Android Development
Galaxy S 4 i9500 Android Development
I notice the "Original" in the first one, but what exactly does that mean?
Thanks

Are there any custom Roms here that are compatible with the Verizon Note 3? Now that we can root again I'd love to get to sampling some Roms.
Thanks.
Browse the development forums a bit, there are a ton of ROMs available. And many are updated quite often.

This is really important for me to know so be generous to me with your information and thank you
so i was wondering about something :
1- Why the Snapdragon Note 3 ( N9005) is able to run Android Marshmallow Touchwize and get ported rom based on Stock Note 7 WHILE the N900 is Unable to have that thing , i want to know what are the restrictions and if they are able to be resolved or not , hard to or IMPOSSIBLE ?
2- Is it a software , hardware or development problem that the N900 still cant reach the N9005 development level on porting roms
Thank in advance for try to explain

dude , this wasnt really helpful ...
But that is often the reason .
Generally the more widely available models are the ones that Devs work on .
See your own thread in development .
Might be worth PM to one of the developers to ask the question .
Read this as well .

It sounds nasty but it was a guy's job to start porting note 4[4.4.4], s6 edge[5.0.1], note 5[5.1.1], s7 edge[6.0.1] and now note 7[6.0.1] firmwares for n9005. So thanks to him.
And because there are many more talented developers here we have more choices in mods and base. Note 3 n9005 definitely the best in development. I went to note 4 & 5. The development isn't as great as note 3.
So it isn't the hardware. As my answer earlier, it depends to the developer who owns the device.

The answer is possible, just have a look at Note3, there was Marshmallows Touchwiz (Note7) ported ROM for this old device even when there wasn't any Official MM released.
When it come to official Nougat, then you better gave up your thought.
I thinks we should have a pinned thread about this.

The Note 3 received MM because the hardware between S5 and Note 3 are close to same so it was easy to port it ( Only 1 gb less and a bigger screen are the differences).
If im wrong correct me

wow such amazing insight in your answer. it simply amazes me how this forum and most of the members are SOOOO helpful.
how about instead of being a tool ... you could possibly link a thread or something. OHHHHH RIGHT your going to say use the search option, well let me tell you from my experience with search IF you don't enter exactly the same exact words your searching for to find the exact answer you need it wont help. i.e. in a thread search for n910v ( my model ) it picks up everything BUT the N910""V"".
