Anyone know if this will re lock the bootloader if we do the recovery method? I don't usually update through MIUI since I use the MiGlobe ROM but the people there seem to think our devices are still delayed.

I did nothing special, nandroid just in case and download and install trough updater app...btw im using ZCX TWRP with incremental update checked, always worked like charm for me, only issue xposed soft brick, solved V87.1

Although xposed works on MIUI9(6.0) some modules may have broken features, eg xMIUI module custom hardware keys no longer functioning. xMIUI was designed for 7/8 so not working!

Not one that I have personally seen so far. In fact my device lags a bit after flashing MIUI 9. Fingerprint unlock is a little slower. Literally none of the new MIUI 9 features advertised are available on our devices since we are still stuck with Marshmallow.

Well like I said with my device, I see no difference. FP scanner is slower. Animations I don't even see. RAM management isn't any better and neither is my battery so for me, my review is MIUI 9 is no better than MIUI 8 and I feel like they left us hanging by not giving us a Nougat update. That's just my opinion.

GPS can be little wonky but I'm working on fix as we speak ,It works just wonky!!Been slight echo as well but seems to only effect speaker

Been runing it for days and amazingly havent found a single one yet. Although there are a few features i havent can't test..... (f2fs, tethering, hotspot, Volte) RIL, A2dp, (bluetooth) Wifi (superfast connect-no drops) mirroring/cast OMS V4A (arise 2.4) assistant (out the box) all working as they should no echo for me or other party on ear or speaker. In call volume could use a little nudge im deaf AF but totally useable as Daily. Built in Wakelock blocking and greenify and ive had no drains at all (flashed SR3 but SuperSU is included)

I didn't try to insult you, I was just making sure. There's a ton of threads open in the Development Section that steal developer's work. My apologies if it came off the wrong way.
Ouh yeah again here a big thanks to Fox and dabug who bring up this with a lot oft work and so much love for the op3 and the Android scene !.
Small bug report lockcscreen centerscreen shortcuts icons dissappear after reboot. There still there and fully functioning there just dashes. Going back into settings>owlsnest>lockscreen>shortcuts>centerscreen shortcuts and editing (i.e deleting a shortcut and replacing again) fixes issue (this was a bug in early RR also) thx

Installation
Before you flash this ROM, you need to remove any pin/password you have set in your previous ROM, or after booting you will get a black screen with the Chinese text.
1. Boot into TWRP recovery
2. Wipe System, Data, Cache & Dalvik
3. Go to Mount and uncheck System
4. Flash the latest OOS stable modem-firmware zip
5. Flash the MIUI 10 ROM and your desired root package
6. Wipe Cache & Dalvik and reboot
If you want to get rid of the useless chinese apps, just root and freeze the apps using titanium backup (do not delete as it will end in bootloop)

It's not booting, did you do anything additional to boot this rom?
Use zcx twrp 3.0.2 and install rom, zcx twrp install rom and working .

you need to do factory reset after pressing "Cancel" in the password screen.
Warning: This will remove all of your data in your internal storage.
I just tested the rom. It's working as smooth as butter. I didn't got heating issues, and random crashes like mentioned above. Only problem is It's Android 7.0, but It doesn't matter much, everything is same with MIUI 10. Also I didn't detect any bugs, call voice is good, fingerprint works.

if you wont succeed booting , flash lazyflasher right after flashing rom . you dont have to change twrp recovery. this way worked for me.

I checked only on Oreo and Pie (Samsung Tab A 10.1 LTE and Xiaomi Redmi 4x) and now on 10-Q too. The mod is based on the post from here . I removed the garbage, made it in one archive and added an uninstaller. Install via TWRP to a clean firmware.
Added magisk build.
Builds v.2.5, v.2.6, v.2.7, v.4.4, v.4.5, v.6.0, v.6.1, 6.3, 6.4, 6.5, 6.7, 6.8 for magisk and for TWRP support widgets, the rest are not.

How to install
DDP installs via custom recovery(TWRP) or magisk. Freeze or rename existing AudioFX (MusicFX). After startup settings you can configured by your taste.

you just need to boot to system first then boot back to recovery to flash Magisk

BiTGApps-arm64-10.0.0-v0.6_signed
I love this Gapps package!! I installed the BiTGApps-arm64-9.0.0-v11.0_signed.zip a few days ago along with the RR rom for Pie on my OnePlus 3T, and my battery life has been excellent! BiTGApps is wonderful. I have noticed that not much of anything Google related gets updated from the Play Store, however. I have probably been using BiTGApps for around 5 days now, and usually when I have installed the normal Gapps package in the past, things get updates from Google pretty often, like Google, Gboard, things like that. I have gotten no updates at all with this BiTGApps.
Is this normal, or have I missed something from the old thread about this?

Well, don't I feel foolish! I just checked my installed packages, and no wonder nothing from Google is getting updated. There's only a couple of Google things that got installed! LOL Geez, and here I was all worried about it.
To be honest, I had no idea a rom could run this well without anything Google on it! It makes BiTGApps even more wonderful for me!!

Haha. How do you know it's the GApps? I mean, you get the same Google apps from other GApps packages so please do tell what made the phone heat up.
