Sorry for the Hype...but i would really like this cab...
Calling all Chefs, esp. Att users...help please!
Can someone please create a cab file for the HTC Video SHare (Version 1, Build 31407). This is in the newest Att release from 6/15/08, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=400276
I have no idea how to do this, and I an frankly surprised that no other Att user is interested.
I appreciate any help...oh, and yes, I searched for it!
Mods-(please delete if neccassary)
I realise this is probably not the best way to appraoch this but i have posted questions in the Att thread, and PMed ATW, posted in two different Kaiser threads. Since i haven't recieved any responses, I thought I would post here because this is usually the only other thread i check regularly.
AT&T Video Share is a way for people in the US to have one-way video calling. (finally!) From what I remember, you can be on the phone and activate your main camera and send it to another Video Sharing capable phone, but only when you are in a 3G network. You can share only in one direction; you can't have bi-directional video.
From what I read a while back, just having the application on your phone is one thing, but you also need to subscribe to the service because it leverages IMS on the backend to provide connectivity between video sharing capable subscribers. Anyone know if you need to subscribe to the service, or if there is a way to rig up a direct IP connection from phone to phone?
you are correct
i used to work at Cingular, before i left i put vsc pay per use on my account...by the way, i tested it today, and it works! i was able to send and recieve video to another tilt! it wasn't flawless, had some errors. for others that may try this, it wasnt working until we had the camera's video share settings on mp4, and the video share call settings, accessed from the dialer, set to mp4
Is there a solution to call recording on HD2 with Android yet ? Please: don`t want to discuss the thing of beiing legela here. Thank you.

or download trial apk here: http://www.killermobile.mobi/ota/TRA.apk
not free, but cheap. $10.
make the phone a little (very little) unresponsive when starting and ending call, but it will not bother you much.
i'm using DL DesireZ v0.3.1n
select Recording strategy A (you'll find this when you first run it, you need to select A or B, i never test with B because A works.)
legal? google say no, and remove it from market. but you can still buy it from developer website.
Thanks for you answer.
Could install it - but the software did not record messages on my HD2 ...
Any solution ?

can't really answer. i'm not the developer. all i can suggest is to try both strategy, then ask the developer.
anyway, if you can use it later and find your phone unresponsive when starting a call, this app may be a little help to avoid you calling someone accidentally:
Call Confirm: http://nanabit.net/a/
as usual, app that i suggest always has some problem with market, this time it's bug in the market. so get it from the developer site.

I really would like to switch from WinMo to ANDROID, but this feature (call recording) is important to me to use it on my hd2 ...
no solution fron this ?
I'm using Sondvold's ICS 0.10.1. How can I get 2way call recording on this rom? I looked at heap of apps but don't know where to start trying, it needs to be easy to toggle on/off if required. Any help much appreciated.
Im not 100 % sure, but try to find an kernel that supports 2way calls for your Device ;-)
Or ask into your Rom thread of the Rom u use if it supports the 2way call
Thanks for the quick reply . I take it from your repsonse that the ability to 2 wat record has to be written in to the kernel? Is that correct? If so explains why I can't find a decent app to do it ...
You can request developer to patch the kernel for 2 way call recording. Otherwise use skvalex's 2 way call recorder.apk try searching in xda search for it. Hope it will help u.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA
Hmmm I see. I'm thinking I may do the research and learn how to patch kernels myself...will save me future issues I suppose...many thanks for your helpful, quick responses, great forum
Can some one make a xposed mod for outgoing call waiting notification? People get annoyed when they are in a call talking and another call was in the waiting.I got asked by some people that "didnt you noticed i am on a call" In my country cellphone operators provides that feature and all phones specially nokia dumb phone have that features.PAC rom and Cyanogen have this feature. It would be nice if some make it an xposed mod that will work on sense.Cyanogen also posted their codes on their wiki.

Posted your request here. Hopefully someone will be able to do it.
Thank You

@m.kris.w advised you to search the forum....I take it that...
(a) you didn't read his post in full.
(b) you read the post but are too dumb / lazy to search.
This forum helps people who try (at least) to find out. If you want spoonfeeding....Go to http://jfgi.herokuapp.com
