Simple thing you can do is just use custom Roms on 35-5. If there is any other build number above 35-5 you flash. You if you try to flash less than this build 35-5 your phone will hardbricked. I have experienced this then you will never ever return to stock ROM. If you have flashed with 35-5 and is showing bad key instead of NA then reflash make sure that wipe cache/format data each and everything which relates to deletion of your data... Then flash 35-5

[Q] I flashed the wrong kernal and now SM-G900F won't boot

I'm an impatient idiot. Lol I accidentally flashed the wrong kernal through Odin and now the phone won't boot. Phone is an international model bought in Hong Kong. I flashed this one which is a kernal for NE2 (Old Rom Kernel for G900F ONLY, use F6 KERNEL FOR G900FD):
KERNEL_G900FXXU1ANE2.tar.md5
I found it on this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/general/how-to-root-triggering-knox-2nd-method-t2843044
So now the phone won't boot but I can get into Download and Recovery mode. Can someone please tell me how to install/flash the correct kernal. Do I need to flash the stock software or can I install a custom ROM which will also include the correct kernal. Please help! Any links to the correct download would be great!
Thanks in advance.

That is easier to fix than flashing the wrong modem. Just flash a stock SM-G900F and you should be fine. You may opt to Wipe your Internal Memory and data clean to benefit from flashing.
Thanks, I flashed the stock with Odin and it works a treat.

Can you please point me to the flash file I have to to flash? There are so many versions with different names I get confused. My model is YU5510A. Any help would be much appreciated.
Should I flash the YU5510A's first version or YU5510's first version? A direct link would be much better.

If you go to Settings>About Phone, what do you see your baseband suffix reporting as? I.e. after the .77R, is there a line similar to ATHENE_EMEA_DSDS?
Did this SIM work in your device previously and does it work in other phones?

Hi
How did you do the update; ota, update from SD, with the lenovo moto smart assistant or flashing twrp compatible image?
I updated my XT1641 with the update from SD method on the default recovery first but ended up boot looping.
Then used the repair mode on the lenovo moto smart assistant and that not only "fixed" it but successfully updated me to the last Oreo... Till I realized I had the same issue you are describing.
Had to unlock the bootloader, install TWRP and then flash a compatible image of the stock ROM.
It is now working, although I think some secure apps like the Microsoft authenticator are not logging for me because of the unlocked bootloader.
Was trying not to do all this and waiting patiently for the stock update but now that I did, I'm probably going to move to another custom ROM, probably a newer maybe x64 one if I find a daily driver worthy one

Your device appears to have the incorrect baseband loaded for your device - instead of ATHENE_INDIA_DSDS_CUST, your device has DFLT_FSG (default FSG)?
Try the suggestion here to resolve your baseband issues: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79437813&postcount=14 Ensure you make a note of the password required to decrypt the firmware as mentioned in the linked posts: lenovo-forums.ru
