[Q] CM12 based Resurrection remix lollipop rom to kitkat??

I flashed cm12 based Resurrection rom lollipop on S4 GT-19500 but the battery drain is annoying me. I want to switch to any kitkat custom rom. Can I flash the custom rom in the same way or will it brick my phone? What should I do :/

Do AOSP Lollipop ROMs run on KK bootloader with bumped kernel?
I'm using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2447534 to dual boot stock kk ROM and LP AOSP Roms. If the AOSP ROMs work with KK bootloader i could upgrade to stock LP

I acquired a backup G2 with CM13 Cyanogen Marshmallow rom. Can I flash a stock based Lollipop (rooted) ROM or lollipop custom ROM over the CM13 rom in recovery?

Yes. I just did that from CM13 to IceXRom. My device is F320k. And my custom recovery is the latest TWRP.

Aren't you tempted to run CM13 for a week or so just to compare? Its fantastic on the GPAD 8.3, (Which is pretty much a G2.)
