I have bought a G950FD dual sim S8 from UAE. In order not to have any limitation from service provider in Turkey (like voLTE, voWIFI or SamsungPay) I am planning to flash G950F CSC. Will there be any complications, what do you think?

Let us all know what happens. I'm curious to see these things on an international level.

Are you sure that your Turkish provider doesn't use the same CSC as the UAE CSC? Most G950F/FD's use the multi-CSC and all you need to do is a factory reset, then put your country's SIM in and it will apply that CSC.
Also, G950F/FD are the exact same firmware/CSC

That is exactly what happened, even better my provider recognized the phone as G950F so there was no need to flash CSC at all.

Hey Guys,
Since my phone was purchased from the UAE, VoLTE is disabled. I would like to change the CSC to any that has VolTE & Wifi calling enabled. The "About Phone" section shows my model to be "SM-G935FD" whereas the PhoneINFO app shows it to be "SM-G935F". Are they the same? PhoneINFO also shows my FW & Active CSC to be XSG & available CSC Codes are:
ACR,AFG,AFR,BTC,DKR,DRC,ECT,EGY,KSA,LYS,MAT,MID,MRT,MRU,MTZ,MWD,PAK,SMG,THR,TMC,TUN,TUR,WTL,XFA,XFE,XFM,XFU,XSG.
Im on 6.0.1 and was wondering if I can change it to the following UK Nougat :
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/120208/G935FXXU1DPLT_G935FOXA1DPLT_BTU/
or this Indian 6.0.1 at least:
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/114162/G935FXXU1BPJJ_G935FODD1BPJJ_INS/
Thank you
If you need VoLTE and WiFi calling. You need to flash INS csc. Backup your data and make a factory reset and wipe cache. This will also fix the CSC as active which provides VoLTE and WiFi calling.

Thanks for the reply, Siva. So I can flash INS even though it's not mentioned under "available CSC Codes" in my phone? If I wanted to get the nougat, can I flash the UK firmware I have mentioned ?
Thank you

Hi Guys,
I am planning to buy a Galaxy S8 from Dubai and I live in India.
I have a few concerns,
One being the samsung pay and volte not working on india networks, although I read this can be managed by flashing an Indian Firmware and changing CSC or something of that sort.
I don't know the technical aspect of it at all so if someone could please guide and explain me.
Also I wanted to know the risks associated with it and also would it void my UAE warranty?
Also which model am I supposed to buy?
The G950F or the G950FD?
If someone could please walk me through the entire process.
It is cheaper by 300$ if I buy it from UAE than India so is it worth doing so?
I've a Galaxy S8 G950FD imported from UAE. Samsung Pay and 4G/LTE work fine here in India. Also, changing CSC is easy and it probably won't void your UAE warranty. To change to INS CSC, you just need to do *#272#IMEI# and then select INS CSC. If this doesn't work directly, then flash any INS firmware for G950FD using Odin and then do the *#272#IMEI# to change CSC.

How to flash the Indian firmware? Is it safe to do so I'm scared of bricking my phone.
Could you please share the method which you used and was successful for you?
Hi,
I am potentially looking to buy a S10+ from CEX.
It is from what I can see using the Vodafone UK firmware, hence the VOD.
I am however looking to use this with O2, O2U to be correct.
This is for WIFI Calling and 4G Calling.
Is it possible to change the CSC on the S10+?
If so, is there a relatively easy guide?
Been using XPERIA for a long time and simple as flashing the firmware for your carrier and currently have a OnePlus 6 so no need to change firmware etc.
Help is appreciated.
Is o2u is a single csc yes , if it's in a multi csc firmware u gonna get the default one in the pack

I think the default from the O2U CSC firmware is VID.
I do not have the device yet, but does the active CSC not change based on the inserted SIM?
VID would be the German O2 from what I believe, so would I not be right in thinking if I flash and factory reset the phone should default to O2U because an O2 UK SIM is inserted?

It's another thread here talking about these ,and no ,it doesn't . The only ones who could change without root is Samsung
I have a G950FD that I am using in Canada. I have a Canadian SIM and a Polish SIM. Phone came with CSC OXM. For Canadian SIM, I am using CSC XEU (UK) and for Polish SIM, I am using CSC XEO (Poland).
I have never been able to use VoLTE and VoWiFi for my Canadian SIM since I cannot install a Canadian CSC, however, after a recent trip to Europe, these features are now available for my Canadian SIM.
Questions:
1. Would the May 1 security update have enabled this somehow?
2. Is this just a coincidence or some sort of happy accident?
Thanks.
