Hi, just installed Phoenix os on my cheap Intel Atom powered tablet, it it awesome but I have 2 serious issues.
USB ports are not working, intergeated SD card slot, cameras and keyboard cover(which runs on USB) are not working too.
The second issue is when I put my tablet in sleep, I won't wake up anymore, I need to froce a reboot.
Anyone with the same issue? Thanks.

Whenever I plug something (mouse, keyboard, flash drive) using an OTG cable it works for a few seconds, then it stops. Sometimes it gets reconnected and disconnected and sometimes it won't recognize the OTG cable until a full shutdown (sometimes even after that).
I'd like to know if replacing the I/O assembly would help fix the problem.
Here are some considerations:
1) I tested it using lots of cables, so this is not a faulty cable problem
2) I've used a lot of ROMs and Kernels (4.2.2, 4.3), CyanogenMod, Timur, Stock...
3) I've noticed no problem when charging or using the Nexus 7 plugget on the PC
4) cat /proc/kmsg shows that a random interrupt is triggered when the device is plugged on Nexus 7.
I have knowledge of programming and compiled my own kernel disabling the interrupt that get HOST --> SUSPEND.
Then the device keeps working, so I suspect this is really a hardware problem.
Which brings me back to my first question:
Do you think that replacing the I/O assembly would solve this issue?
Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help.
I'm having a charging issue and am lost on what else to try to fix this. I can't charge using my OEM adaptor and cable, only when connected to PC with USB. The USB cable that works with my PC is the same one I use with the adaptor.
The USB port is on my phone is good, charges fine when connected to PC (although much slower because of different mVS). Read a suggestion to make sure the tab part of the USB connector isn't bent, it doesn't look damaged at all and like I said, has zero problems connecting to my laptop.
Have tried almost everything except going back to stock, and nothing fixes it. I've turned debugging mode off and back on, restored a backup from before the issue began, completely wiped and reinstalled 2 different build of ROMs with and without apps, fixed permissions, tried different kernels, different USB cables...
The adaptor is in good condition. But when plugged in while my phone is on, it doesn't recognize that's it's connected. Previously it would give a false charging reading. If my device is off, sometimes I would get the grey bar battery, but now it's just vibrating every few seconds. Idk what to do...
I have an i337m and am currently running slimkat weekly 6.2 but tried official 6.0 and restored a weekly 5.9 from before the issue began
I did format /data and /data/media (internal sdcard) I think right before the issue began in order to remove some old folded that would appear during cwm installations of zips from internal storage (e.g., hyperdrive for ex, which I haven't had installed since December) but that shouldn't screw up charging at all
Dude, you're trying way to hard. You're charger is messed up

I hope that's the case lol it worked for a bit last night until I unplugged it, then when I plugged it back in nothing happened... seems to only work if power cycled after being connected to my PC
I have a really weird problem running Windows 8.1 whilst using my Galaxy S 5.
The phone, when plugged into any USB port keeps disconnecting and reconnecting like 2 times a second...
Things I've tried:
1. Different USB cables including USB 2 and USB 3.
2. Different ports.
3. Disabling 'turn off device to save power' in all USB hubs/devices through Device Manager.
4. Using 'High Performance' power mode and ensuring all 'turn off USB devices to save power' options are set to 'No'.
5. Reinstalling the Kies 3 drivers and software.
Here is a video of the issue:

Does anyone else have any ideas? This happens all the time on my laptop...
Yep, happens with mine too, and happens with my nephews S3 too
Also disabled power saving for USB etc
Seems to help if you switch between USB debugging and back again a couple times while it's connected
Is there anything like a proper fix for this? Does the problem stop on Lollipop?
tried a lot
cant connect ....
With the stock charger?
I put the S5 on my trusty 8A 5-port Anker, and immediately noticed this. If you leave the S5 alone, it will settle to constant charging at max amperage, according to Battery Monitor Widget's log.
Nevertheless, I haven't seen such before, not even with my Note 10.1 2014, which uses the same charge mode.

I've been fighting the exact same problem.
While I _believe_ there should be a software solution for this, since it wasn't always a problem, I believe it to be power related and have gone for a hardware solution.
The definitive cure for me (as of this morning) was to purchase an external *powered* USB hub.
(FWIW, an Ativa Mobil IT "Travel" 7-port USB 2.0 hub from Office Depot. And only because that was the only model where it could be tested before purchase without destroying the packaging).
First: How do I get my Nexus 7 to charge from the OTG cable? I can connect USB devices to it but connecting the power cable of the Y doesn't seem to do anything.
Second: Is it possible to wake from tapping?

All other threads I've found relating to the OTG cable charging reference Timur's ROM which is no longer available. Is there another solution?
I've got a Nexus 2012 Wifi and all the hardware (USB DAC, amp, wiring, etc) to install this in my car. My last 2 hurdles before ripping the dash apart is the charging while connected to a USB hub and how to wake the tablet up. I was afraid of leaving the screen on all the time would burn it out and drain the battery. I wanted the ability to turn the tablet on without having the keys in the ignition. I guess I could forego that requirement and just have the tablet always on and only turn on in the ACC position.
For the wake I am thinking of creating a mechanical switch that activates the button. The power button on the tablet now will be concealed by the bezel once installed in the dash. There is an app that works but it doesn't really wake from sleep but rather creates a black screen that is tappable. I really wanted the thing to go to sleep and then wake with a tap.
I also wanted the newer android version, 6 or greater. I flashed with CM 7.1 and it works great save the two issues I'm having. Even if I had access to Timur's ROM it hasn't been updated since 4.something so I would want it newer anyway.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
I installed the BeanStalk 6.19 and I am now able to OTG charge and double-tap to wake device (no extra settings as it was included with the ROM).
My problem now is it seems to only want to OTG charge when I first plug in the OTG cable to the tablet. If it's charging and I turn off the power to the OTG (like disconnect the charging cable connected to the OTG) and then plug that charging cable back in it will not charge until I reconnect the OTG cable to the tablet. I wanted to hide the cable behind the bezel of the dashboard.
I was hoping to switch the power to the USB hub that is connected to the OTG charge cable with the ACC line from the ignition. This way I wouldn't be draining the battery at all when the keys are not in the ignition. It's only 12.5 watts so I guess I could leave it on all the time. It's getting cold here this time of year so I didn't want any type of extra drain on the battery when I didn't need it.
Any suggestions?
Hi, the phone(n910v) was all fine until two days ago but now it isnt charging fast nor recognized when i plugged it on pc (tried both usb 2.0 and 3.0 ports). Has anyone had these kind of problems and any help is appreciated.
It will be the hardware issue.
Probably you may gonna need to replace your usb pcb

I have this problem, it seems to be caused by a faulty motherboard. Does the IR blaster still work?
@a602820922 @pedodroid Its the motherboard... I replaced it since my cousin has one with a broken screen and everything is ok, the ir blaster and everything else is working its just slow charging and not recognized on pc, im thinking to sell it or swapping with another phone, i had enough with the issues of this good phone.
