I tried to update my Nova L11 to 7.0 using this manual but I copied to dload folder files from hw_eu instead of original 3.84GB update.app
So now phone is dead. No reaction on buttons. No LED lighting while inserting charger. Any help?

Okay I have ALE-L02C190B120 with unlocked bootloader and root in South Africa .
I tried doing huawei local update with C432B560 and it failed.
I tried this using stock recovery but rooted , which i know someone says wont work.
The thing is that I don't have data to download the C432B170.
So now to my Question:
Can i extract the B560 Update.app using Huawei Update Extractor and flash the system, cust, boot and recovery images safely without hardbricking my device which is currently on C190B120? and might the update work via emui updater if i just Unroot?
Did you tried put update.app in folder "dload", switch off the phone and press all 3 buttons together?

Flash the C432 oeminfo then reflash B160...
And never flash L21 firmware on L31... If you have L31 flash L31 firmware!.
Thanks for responding! I know it sounds stupid but can you write step by step what I should do now? Im really new to the whole flash, Recovery thing. 70% what I have done was luck. Im sorry for my English Im German.

1.unlock your bootloader
2.install twrp
3.download c432 oeminfo and b160 update.zip
4.copy c433 oeminfo to your sd card/phone and extract update.app from update.zip and put it in dload folder in sd card(you make dload folder)
5.boot to recovery and flash oem info
6.turn off your phone
7.hold power, volume down+volume up buttons till update starts to install and be patient
ok, I wanted to flash the oeminfo and they were 2 options: install into boot or install into recovery. I couldnt install into boot so I installed into recovery. The installation was succesfull. After that I tried to install the update.app but when I press down the three buttons, it starts the Huawei Erecovery. So I tried it with the secret menu to do a local update but after that it starts the Erecovery again.
When I try to flash it into boot (what i think what I suppost to do) it says that the file is too large to flash it into boot partition.

it should work both ways, are you sure you have the correct oeminfo? just try to flash oeminfo in meticulus twrp and then use the 3 buttons to flash update.app in sdcard/dload

Are you sure you are pressing all three buttons? Make sure all buttons are working, because you shouldnt get erecovery by doing that
force shutdown phone , if not work take backpanel out no screws only little gleu and 5-6 normal screws inside, plug off battery and then put inside > hold volume + and - together and press power volume button untill you see the huawei logo.
Ok, I checked my volume buttons they are working. But I press all three buttons and still it starts twrp.
hi
honor 3c h30 u10 on kitkat official b320 went wrong as before and i tried to flash it again with its UPDATE.app file which contains 4.4 kitkat official ROM. TWRP couldnt do it because it needed stock recovery. i installed stock recovery several times with sp flash tools and green cirlce came up but no stock recovery came up and still TWRP. i used a trick and add a text file "au_temp.cfg" to the "dload" folder which contains UPDATE.app file to force the process. i powered on the phone and automatically stock recovery came up and process began. everything went OK and successful. i restarted it and it stucked in bootloop which was popular. BUT ... here came the problem. when i tried to unbrick it "sp flash tool" didnt download any files to my phone. it stuck at 0%. it did work a while before but didnt as before ... i used all kinds of mediatek preloader vcom drivers but nothing changed. when i click download and connect the non-battery phone it appears on device manager as Mdiatek preloader....... and after 2 sec or 3 sec it disppears and sp flash tool stuck at 0% . i tried differnt ports, cables, PCs, and SPtool versions and event differrent recovery files but nothing changes. PLzzzzzzzz Help me ...

Did you try b108 signed rom??
Hey, guys.
I'm totally new to this whole rooting of phones and I gave it a go with my Huawei P9 Lite yesterday. After some trial and error I managed to unlock my bootloader, then I got TWRP on the phone, booted into that, then got SuperSU on there and booted into a totally whiped phone. Here I deleted the bloatware I wanted to. Afterwards I wanted to un-root my phone which SuperSU allowed me to. At one point I got a screen that said "Attempt to restore stock boot image? This is required for OTAs to succeed. If you manually decrypted you device, note that this might prevent your device from booting". I pressed "Yes" as my guide said to. I booted into the same totally whiped phone however the bloatware was back. I deleted it again, went to un-root in SuperSU and then pressed "No" instead.
Now when I turn on my phone I get the Huawei eRecovery where I can "Download latest version and recovery" (which doesn't work), Reboot and Shutdown. I can also enter Fastboot (white screen, green android and some text). I am stuck here. I tried different things, such as making a folder on an empty micro-SD card called "dload" with the UPDATE.APP in it, then pressed and held both + and - volume and power, booted into the recovery and it failed at 5%.
Can any of you guys help me? I am at a total loss - I'm a total noob at these kind of things so I would really appreciate any help I can get.
Also my phone is a VNS-L31C432B380 with dual sim bought in Denmark.
Kind regards
Martin
You shouldn't have pressed the "No" button.
First , you'll need to download the rollback package from here: http://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=93784&version=373401&siteCode=nlen
Second , put the update.app file in dload folder and boot into dload mode and let it install .
Third , download the firmware for your phone: http://bit.ly/2eRLmGn (It's VNS-L31C432B160)
Fourth , put the update.app file in dload folder and boot into dload mode.
This should work.
edit: If you don't understand , you need to put the rollback package first and let it install , then the firmware and install it.
Awesome, I will try this tomorrow. Just to be sure, when you tell me to put the different files in dload, is it enough that I use my empty microSD, create a folder called dload and put them there? Because right now my phone will not even connect to my PC, only recharge it.
I will tell you how it went tomorrow, thanks in advance
Doesn't matter if it's empty or not , you just need enough space.
First , you'll need to copy the rollback package update.app , boot into dload mode and let it install
Second , after the rollback package installed , you'll need to copy the firmware update.app into dload folder , boot into dload mode and then let it install.
You just saved my ass BIG TIME, I can't thank you enough!
I just rooted my phone again, deleted the apps I wanted to delete. Now do you know of a way to unroot my phone back to its normal state (before root) while keeping the bloatware deleted? Sorry if I ask stupid questions, but I am really new to this whole thing.
Hello Guys and Nerds,
My P9 Lite is hardbricked. When i tried dload (i tried several firmwares) method there are 2 possible outcomes:
1. Huawei Logo and powered for Android for 5 Seconds, then blackscreen and nothing
2. Wrong Update
I tried to use dload method with 10 firmware versions. Nothing.
I cant get into fastboot and hard reset doesent do anything.
Its not an hardware problem but an software.
Before i had a Metriculus Rom with twrp but that doesent matter i think.
