How can i change my device name to another name so that it shows my given name in Facebook app active device tab?

There is no part in build.prop regarding device name, tried it, didn't work. Can u be more specific plz?

If you modify/remove a system app, updates will fail during the install process.

Your phone won't know what model it is for starters so I'm guessing the kernel won't boot and nothing will work as it can't identify phone model

Not for the moment...x-posed is not L compatible. ..and there is no multi dpi too....

Yes, you can do it manually, but it will entail decompiling the app, making some changes, and recompiling...

do you mean the bootlogo (huawei logo that doesn't move?)
or the bootanimation (huawei loge that moves and makes the damn sound)

at the moment no. i'm not sure but i think it's imbedded in the kernel or boot file. so....
I change bootanimation without problems. I am referring to the one that doesn't move.
I am sure it is possible, if not now in the future.

It's possible but you have to go way to deep. So...

Use google translator or another trhead on how to translate bat files...
I trying to flash cm.13 on p9 lite I found out you got to go to build prop in.root explorer find line multirid properity and change it to true but.I have downloaded 4 different prop editors still cant find it.
Also searched google for tutorial but only gave me a windows one anybody know of any vid tutorial?
