Galaxy S4 and Sony Xperia Z both have the same sensor...the Exmor RS.
Xperia z is capable of recording video in night mode. Galaxy S4 CAN NOT.
How is this possible?

anyone knows if the cameras are finally running camera2api and can shoot raw?
I didn't make this video. I wanted to share it since I found that the video shows the true potential of the Xperia X series.
Display is a lot better than the normal Xperia Z5(fhd).
You will see a difference in the camera quality as well.

Credits to mobile geeks.de for making such a good comparison between Z5 and Xperia X series. :fingers-crossed:
Could someon please post the 'ad_calib.cfg' file frm the Xperia X ?
it's located in " /system/etc/ "
I realise that I'm probably "wishing" but is it possible that the Sony Xperia XA1 Ultra or XA Ultra firmware might be compatible for Xperia Z Ultra?
Thanks.
Definitely wishing
A simple but unfortunate answer, no. However you can port compatible elements to your device using AOSP or other existing ROM as a base.
Thanks.
I'm still pissed off that SONY is not updating Android for the Xperia Z Ultra e.g. to Marshmallow, Nougat.
It is nearly 4 years old now? No one updates their devices for that long.
Well it's not really Sony's fault that Z Ultra got no Nougat
It's Qualcomm's fault who didn't want to update the Adreno OpenGL drivers which is needed to pass CTS
So #blameqcom
#truestory
3 years old. But it's still a great device.
And this isn't the Z Ultra forum....
Hi, can anyone port MIUI 8 for Xperia X Compact?
I would love that so much!
yeah!!, anyone?
