Joying Steering Wheel Mapping (2014 VW Passat) - Android Head-Units

Hi there
I installed a JY-VM131N2 in my 2014 VW Passat. The Steering Wheel is working (out of the stock).
I'd like to change the mapping of the buttons, but all of them shows Parameter 255. Video is attached under the link:

Can you help me to change the mapping?
Answer from Joying:

You have a CAN decoder (a little box attached to the harness) that is programmed with a certain steering wheels keys mapping and you can't change that.
Your best chance is to wire the steering wheels buttons directly and bypass the CAN decoder, but it works ONLY IF the steering wheel buttons are the resistive type.
If you don't have the experience please don't try to mess with the wires... things can go wrong with the headunit or the car.

Adding new Map for Steering Wheel control buttons?

I would like to make my mode button on my Titan's Steering Wheel to open the Voice Control app on my Joying head unit. Anybody figure out how to do stuff like this?

Steering wheel control mapping help.

Evening all.
I have an xtrons 4.4 HU, it's fitted with a canbus decoder in and Audi A4.
The HU came with the steering wheel controls preset, I've tried to map them to add my own touch but I can't. When I go into the steering wheel control option, I operate a key and he screen does not recognise this, I've also tried highlighting a button then trying to use a steeeing wheel button and it still doesn't recognise it.
What ami missing guys? All the YouTube and Google tutorials say to do it how I am!
Thanks.
I have the same issue on a 2012 Mazda 3, the head unit only recognizes a direct voltage input from the steering wheel buttons, yours is probably controlled by the CANBUS, with the head unit, there should be 2 wires (Key1 and Key2), they should be connected to the car wiring I believe. Please wait for someone with more experience to confirm.

From what I've read they are connected through canbus but I have no idea how to work around this. Thanks.
Anyone? Tried downloading the rk1188 headunit app but it does nothing!
interested about!
Anyone please?

Steering wheel control problem between Autoradio 8227L and Toyota Yaris II series

Hi everyone, I hope to be writing in the appropriate section.
I bought an 8227L android car radio:
- http://imageupper.com/s12/1/6/M1568803747176376_6.jpg
And I have a Toyota Yaris II series:
This morning I successfully mounted the 8227L stereo in my car
- http://imageupper.com/s12/1/6/M1568803747176376_5.jpg
and everything works fine except the steering wheel controls.
The old original car radio (where steering wheel controls worked) was so connected:
And when mounting the new autoradio 8227L, I just inserted the cables in the appropriate adapters.
The fact is that as soon as I enter the steering wheel configuration menu, I press START and select a command to associate with a physical steering wheel button, I get an error:
even trying to reboot:

I still get the same error.
Can u help me in some way? Thank u all in advance!
As a first step, I would put a voltmeter onto the sense wires while pressing each of steering wheel buttons- to confirm that different voltages are available for the head unit to learn
This wil prove or otherwise that the wiring is in order.
Hi Pxdev,
First of all thank you very much for your attention.
At the moment I do not have the possibility to use a voltmeter, however I am sure that the steering wheel controls work (tested up to a few hours before the installation of the new radio) and also the installation of the new radio has simply consisted in disconnecting the 3 connectors ( http://imageupper.com/s12/1/6/M1568803747176376_4.jpg the blue and the two whites) visible in the picture and insert them in the appropriate adapters of the new car radio and insert a single connector in the special housing and everything worked, except, of course, for the steering wheel controls. Is there anything else I could try to do? Many thanks in advance.
Hi,
Have you bought it with the Canbus and cables for your car? I have the exact same unit and the steering wheel works well.
I get the same error , found a video saying ground one wire to radio ground and any one key wire ground radio but doesn't work. If anybody has any solution or troubleshoot guide please let me know .
Checked voltage , voltage from headunit around 3.5v , checked resisitance from each key shows different value for each key. Now what to do?
Did you find a solution to your problem as I'm having the same problem with mine. Same head unit with a Raise can bus installed. The steering wheel controls worked fine when I first bought the car but I decided to delete some of the unused apps and since then the steering wheel controls don't work. I can't even remember the name of the app I deleted. Any help would be grateful.

Joying Steering Wheel Controls

Hello all,
I'm having trouble finding a solution to this, not sure if this is where to ask but its worth a shot. I have an Intel Airmont Joying head unit, the one with physical buttons. Its running android 8.1 I believe. I use apple carplay through Zlink. I also use joyings universal steering wheel controls add-on since I dont have built in ones (I cant post links yet but google those exact words to find it, its a circle lookin thing) . I'd like to be able to map it to Zlinks controls (siri, left, right, home, etc), but I'm unable to. Under Joyings built in steering wheel controls mapper I can map it to universal play/pause etc for the head unit itself, but when I enter the Zlink control learning they dont work. Any ideas what to do? Apologies if that was confusing, I can clarify if needed. Thanks!

Same for me. I heard that you need to connect key 1 or key 2 to ground. Tried it and still it does not work for me... Anyone here that solved that problem?
@sergente78 Did you solve it, yet?
If anyone has any suggestions on how we can fix the steering wheel settings, please write.
I have a TS-10 Android screen installed in my Nissan X-Trail and I am experiencing an issue with my steering wheel button. It is double jumping when I click the next song, selecting the third song instead. How can I fix this issue?
