Hey, guys, good news. Ubberlaggydarwin has done it again for our beloved XSP. FXP has released their first CM12 build for our XSP.

Presently, we don't have any changelogs and bug list, but I'm downloading it and will inform you guys once get my hands on it.

Hi guys anyone tried yet on a clean install bugs ?
And I cant seem to get to upload so anyone can mirror maybe media fire ?

Hello All, I'm uploading the ROM on mediafire. Once its done, I'll post the link.
The build seems to be very fluid. But the major problem is, my sim is not getting registered to the network.
Flashed Mr Steve's fix_hotspot_calls_sp_lp.zip but its not working. But on searching manual network, Its showing all the nearby networks but not getting registered even on manual selection.

@Nathan rd suggested to flash baseband from stock rom and try... good a idea but my battery is drained so i cant do it for a while... can someone try that...?

I didn't try it yet but... have you tried typing su setenforce permissive on terminal, as older mrsteve555 build?
I know on gerrit selinux is permissive but...

From where did You get the original link??? I cant find any post by uberlaggy anywhere about this built...

i tried that and nothing changed.... cm12 recognize sim, and nearby networks... but cant register to network...

This was the last option for me, I've tried this as well, didn't work.

Tried flashing the baseband by both flashtool and baseband fix. Didn't work.

@Gara91 @soumyog could u guys take a logcat for the Sim. Do one on first boot. And then let's see one during automatic and manual search(registering included).

Have you tested it yet? If yes, then what is your experience like so far? Are there any noticeable bugs?

it's pretty smooth, and a lot new features added, like cm theme engine and all that stuff, but still couldn't figure out a way to get mobile network working.

Well its a great idea but i doubt this will last.. you cant really say you posted every rom when you left out all the stock roms and versions then as time goes youre life is to prohibit you from doing this.. youre also not going to post every rom update either so cant really say its every rom.

Totally agreed.
Never mirror a link unless you have the devs permission.
Only link to the thread. There is good reason for this. You're now creating problems for both the dev and the downloader.
This thread is likely to become awash with posts about issues.

[GUIDE]FIX Camera Crashing issue on any 7.1.1 ROMs with flashable zip

Hi guys
I am making this post to help those of you who doesn't know how to push a file to system partition to fix camera crashing issue and flash sync bug in Nougat ROMs on redmi note 3.
I have made a video for better understanding .

But yeah , all you have to do is flash the file after flashing ROM on dirty flash the file on top of current ROM ( must be 7.1.1) and then reboot.
This is will fix camera .
I made the flashable zip.
But full credits goes to sir billchen1977 for making and sharing the basic fix.

I am confused. If someone is capable of flashing a Nougat based ROM. They surely have the ability to flash the .zip in the first post of the original fix thread. What's the video for?

Some had issues with permissions. Fortunately, theres a patch that skips setting new permission.
Take that xiaomi, we made a fully working nougat rom before you would've even started to work on it

Well in the original post zip was added later..
And there was only module file..
So I found this and posted thinking that it will help some newbiees

Info from trusted sources ( please don't ask where) is saying that we will be getting first versions of miui based in nougat for redmi note 3 on end of this month .

By just using X-plore file manager in moving the file, all of the permissions are automatically set. All you have to do after moving the file is to reboot the phone.

It's not anymore a must to have the kernel sources, the rom is almost bugfree

Use
Fed Patcher to disable fore encryption b4 first boot (working to disable it in next build)
Beans gapps (older version required [dl file in telegram group]

All good here :good: Lineage based so needs FED patcher or custom kernel to prevent forced encryption. Like other Lineage ROMs, doesn't like Magisk v13 zip for root.

If he's not updating. What's the problem in updating(& Making people aware) with new? Before flashing I almost thought it's same old 6.0. I don't see any harm in it.

1.Go to TWRP and wipe System,Data,Cache
Flash it with Gapps and SU(Optional)
Flash miui firmware
2.No it doesn't delete TWRP
