Encrypted phone - LeEco Le Pro3 Questions & Answers

Hi All,
Recently I flashed ResurrectionRemix 5.8.4 on my Le Pro3 (x720) and accidentally encrypted my phone. My question is, can I flash my phone with other custom rom in future(E.g. lineage OS 14.1) after phone encrypted? If yes, do I need to make some modification beforehand? If no, are there a way to decrypte my phone? Thanks!

Just flash any roms you like. There is nothing to worry.

lineage and our 935t devices?

I have been doing some research on this phone lately and was wondering if lineage is possible on this phone as it soon will become my backup phone.
From everything I read, it looks like a custom recovery is not possible with this model.
And it looks like from the official lineage site that a custom recovery is required to install it.
Does that mean there is no way to use lineage as a custom rom on this phone? I am assuming so at this point. Any input you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
You are correct in that there is currently no way to use custom ROMs on this device as there is no method to unlock the bootloader as of yet (if ever) [emoji22]

Nrml flashing couldn't make any problem that to be said from nougat to oreo since for now they have same baseband ver. but for you definitely flash stock rom first(nougat) via adb or twrp both work fine. There is difference between baseband in mm and nouhat and will create problem to you in future

As the post above states ensure you flash the stock nougat ROM before flashing nougat custom ROM. Flash stock nougat, reflash twrp, wipe system, data, cache, ART cache and then flash custom ROM.

Thank you, helps a lot!
As others have said, I would like to say you should update to N. As otherwise you might face a few issues namely baseband and fingerprint. The problem is a big MIGHT but I would recommend updating first

Update from Android 5.0 to 7.1 Resurrection Remix

Hi,
I have a rooted N900 with stock Android 5.0 that I am trying to update it to 7.1 Resurrection Remix
I just wanted to ask if there are any special things that I should do like flashing a certain modem or kernel before flashing 7.0
Thanks,
First:
Flash twrp for HLTE via odin,
Download RROS
Full wipe data/cache etc.
Install ROM,
Install GApps,
Optional flash Magisk Manager.

Installing custom rom after pie update

I'm currently on stock pie Jan patch, and I want to install a custom rom instead because I'm fed up with stock bugs. I'm looking forward to install pixys os, but I have a question. Are there any additional steps to install a custom rom? I don't want my phone to be bricked and lose my IMEI.
I have flashed LOS 16 without problems after Pie update.
You can flash the custom ROM without any big issues. Not sure about VoLTE though, if it is something you are concerned about.
Make a low level backup so you can recover in case something goes wrong

[Solved] Most Stable rom for Mi A1 Tissot and some other relevant questions.

Hi,
Its been a long time since I last rommed any phone. Last Was my beloved 'Bacon' (Oneplus One) which I rommed till it died.
I am trying to install a custom rom on my wife's Mi A1. Have a few questions.
Which is the most stable rom (Android 11 preferred but if android 11 isn't stable then android 10 will do). Trying to replace the boring stock rom with some much needed features. but don't need a super tweaked up rom. Stability is most important. : edit: installed lineage 18.1.
Can I directly flash TWRP 3.6.0_9-0-tissot over stock? As with Bacon, I needed to flash One recovery then another to get a version jump. like I cant directly flash twrp 3.x over stock. I needed to flash TWRP 2.xy and then 3.0. (example, not real version numbers.)
I don't need root. But I do need the device to pass SafetyNet as I need it to operate apps like Gpay (which does not work if device fails SafetyNet).
Can I re lock the bootloader after flashing TWRP? Would it help with SafetyNet situation?
OpenGapps still good?

1. There are plenty of stable roms, you can look at Xiaomi Mi A1 ROMs section to check them.
2. You can directly flash TWRP on stock rom.
3. ?
4. No
5. I use roms with pre-installed GApps for stablity.
