My device (L31) was on a bad software and that c900 oeminfo. So I wiped the os and tried to change the oeminfo via cmd, but cmd always said: command not allowed. After that I flashed the stock recovery, made an DLOAD folder on my sdcard and tried to install the right stock firmware but with no luck. Recovery says its the wrong update. Now I have the problem that fastboot isnt working by holding volume down + power button. I checked my buttons they are ok. What should I do now? Did I brick my phone to unfixable?
On which region was your firmware based ? Like i have middle east and african version it has c185 based rom what was your model of rom before c900 ? If you know it I can help you out
Ich managed to install the c900 OS back. I normally have c432 but I can't flash the c432 oeminfo. So I stuck on c900

Okay I have ALE-L02C190B120 with unlocked bootloader and root in South Africa .
I tried doing huawei local update with C432B560 and it failed.
I tried this using stock recovery but rooted , which i know someone says wont work.
The thing is that I don't have data to download the C432B170.
So now to my Question:
Can i extract the B560 Update.app using Huawei Update Extractor and flash the system, cust, boot and recovery images safely without hardbricking my device which is currently on C190B120? and might the update work via emui updater if i just Unroot?
Did you tried put update.app in folder "dload", switch off the phone and press all 3 buttons together?
So bricked my handy, after that I flasht the wrong stock Software. (Huawei P9 Lite L31 Single Sim) I was on L21xxxx, but I wanted the old OS back. Flash the C432 oeminfo then reflash B160...
And never flash L21 firmware on L31... If you have L31 flash L31 firmware!.
Thanks for responding! I know it sounds stupid but can you write step by step what I should do now? Im really new to the whole flash, Recovery thing. 70% what I have done was luck. Im sorry for my English Im German.

1.unlock your bootloader
2.install twrp
3.download c432 oeminfo and b160 update.zip
4.copy c433 oeminfo to your sd card/phone and extract update.app from update.zip and put it in dload folder in sd card(you make dload folder)
5.boot to recovery and flash oem info
6.turn off your phone
7.hold power, volume down+volume up buttons till update starts to install and be patient
ok, I wanted to flash the oeminfo and they were 2 options: install into boot or install into recovery. I couldnt install into boot so I installed into recovery. The installation was succesfull. After that I tried to install the update.app but when I press down the three buttons, it starts the Huawei Erecovery. So I tried it with the secret menu to do a local update but after that it starts the Erecovery again.
When I try to flash it into boot (what i think what I suppost to do) it says that the file is too large to flash it into boot partition.

it should work both ways, are you sure you have the correct oeminfo? just try to flash oeminfo in meticulus twrp and then use the 3 buttons to flash update.app in sdcard/dload

Are you sure you are pressing all three buttons? Make sure all buttons are working, because you shouldnt get erecovery by doing that
force shutdown phone , if not work take backpanel out no screws only little gleu and 5-6 normal screws inside, plug off battery and then put inside > hold volume + and - together and press power volume button untill you see the huawei logo.
Ok, I checked my volume buttons they are working. But I press all three buttons and still it starts twrp.
Hello. I'm done with my phone, I can't find help on this forum anymore.
I was on Nougat, then I tried to flash Lineage OS, it didn't boot, so I started to look for problem. Ended with bricked phone. Today I finally flashed it and it was okay, but that ROM was buggy, so I decided to go back to stock firmware. I uploaded B130 OEMInfo with custom.bin, got a B130 FW and flashed it through dload. Now my phone is dead, it got black screen. I can't turn it off or go to recovery. No vibrations, no sounds, only black screen. When I connect USB my PC recognizes it and fastboot is working. Tried to flash Nougat firmware again, but it didn't work.
Phone: P9 Lite VNS-L21 (Europe)
My theory - because I didn't used rollback package and just flashed MM OEMInfo, custom.bin and MM firmware through dload it just crashed. Don't really know any reason for it, because before dload it was working.

Try to charge battery - press a hold Volume+ and connect phone to PC or charger ,hold Volume+ until your phone will turn on ( it may take 5 - 7 minutes ). With a little bit luck your phone will boot into eRecovery , in eRecovery mode you can charge the battery.

"it always stops at 50%" - unplug your phone from PC
Hi Devs, { Please read DC Unlocker as HCU Client)- Sorry
I resurrected my Mate 10 lite with Bootloader Relocked/FRP Lock using DC- Phoenix and went back from OREO to Nougat.
C185 meafnaf was my original and i flashed a C432 ROM using HuRUpdater earlier and ended with a bricked phone with Bootloader Relocked and FRP locked.
The phone was resurrected then using DC Phoenix.
However, after successfull flash to Nougat, i installed TWRP for Nougat and rebranded from C432 to C185 to revert to my factory firmware (either nougat or Oreo).
(Downloaded OEMInfo from this post https://forum.xda-developers.com/ma...other-development/oeminfo-collection-t3762385)
I connected DC Phoenix, used the EU version Nougat ROM from DC Phoenix website. (Downloaded both the Data Apps)
During the flash, after booting to upgrade mode, DC-Phoenix displayed error message saying it cannot write to VERLIST partition (partiotion 4 of 23....) and exited.
In this case, it was meant to change the customization parameters to the file being flashed which i tried, but the phones COM ports were not detected by DC unlocker.
I also tried using board software, but the same error in upgrade mode is displayed.
Now this is the only issue preventing me from flashing the firmware.
I cannot install TWRP to flash C432 meafnaf OEMInfo to flash this ROM also.
Please let me know if there is a work around to detect the COM ports for Mate 10 lite in HCU Client.
fix ???
Can you share for boardsoftware for rne-l21? [email protected] THANKS!
