Now that we have S-OFF, converting from a Sprint branded U11 to US Unlocked is now a breeze. I have tested a T-Mobile & Verizon sim, and after converting, it was fully functional as if it was purchased as a US Unlocked model. I have no doubt a AT&T sim will be fully functional too. If anyone converts their Sprint U11, post you results.
1. Download & install Sunshine for S-OFF (root required)
2. Change CID from download mode: fastboot oem writecid BS_US001 or fastboot oem writecid 11111111
3. Download & install US Unlocked RUU
If anyone has a Sprint sim, a US Unlocked device, and willing to test, I'd be curious to see the results of converting from US Unlocked to Sprint. I am confident the Sprint service will be fully functioning including CDMA.
*edit* actually, converting from US Unlocked to Sprint may not be possible since the US Unlocked IMEI will most likely not be whitelisted in Sprints network, but we wont know until tested.

A little off topic but this thread had me wondering since s-off has been achieved, would it be possible to enable band 4 on verizon now or is that more of a hardware issue?
Curious, @OMJ
In order to go from Sprint to AOSP, will there be a zip we have to flash like we had to on the HTC 10?

The phone should be physically capable. Based on other phones, I believe that it could be enabled by modifying the radio settings. But I don't know how much more effort would be required.

well not exactly...your CID & MID must match the RUU you are flashing. For converting Sprint to US Unlocked, I changed my CID to SuperCID, the MID already is the same between Sprint & US Unlocked.
in your case, you would need to change your CID & MID (if it's different) before flashing the RUU.

HTC__001 is still stuck on 1.13 btw. But sprint seems to of received the single SIM update, which means we shouldn't be far off.

The RUU will completely wipe the device including internal storage. Just don't re-root afterwards if you don't want to. You will also have to SIM unlock.

It's a Sprint device, so SIM unlock is required to use non-Sprint SIM cards.

Just posting my experience of getting a fresh Moto G 16GB that was Tesco purchased - unlocked and to Stock.
I linked to the XDA thread by t-bon3 - which is a great guide.
Here is how it went for me.
First issue that the device is locked to tesco sim cards.
Note: you are not unlocking the bootloader or adding root to the system.
The phone will be exactly as if you bought it from retail, just you got it subsided by Tesco.
I choose these guys to get an unlock code - they seemed professional - I avoid ebay & paypal.
http://www.unlockunit.com/unlock-motorola-moto-g?var=tel
Form filling.......
Phone Model : *Moto G*
Country & Network : *United Kingdom - Tesco Mobile*
IMEI: *XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX*
E-mail: *YourEmail*
I then got 3 Emails.
1: Confirm Order
2: Confirm Payment
3: Unlock code (came 11 minutes after I paid)
There were 2 unlock codes - I put a non-tesco SIM in and was greeted with the prompt - the first code worked.
Then after that I followed this guide to Install the UK Retail firmware
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=47820707
Files From here
http://sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=14
I used this one
Android 4.3
Blur_Version.14.71.8.falcon_umts.Retail.en.GB
*Retail UK*
407.3 MiB
40FD34F930D9ADD3AB3F65B5A23FCD00
Simple task, enable USB debugging, reboot into fastboot, run script, reboot.
Now just to wait for the Over The Air 4.4.2 update that is due any day for the UK phones.

Wrong.
It is a full stock UK ROM. It wouldn't install if it wasn't.
In this case, repacked means adding the proper Moto fastboot tool, and a .bat file to automate the commands.

Hi everyone,
The moment you have been waiting for... A Priv OS autoloader and now a dump of the system files..
I am fairly inexperienced at XDA, but have been around BlackBerry enthusiast forums for years under the name mrfreeze.
I have made this post on CrackBerry forums too, but thought that you all might be able to help out more.
Link to CrackBerry thread: http://forums.crackberry.com/android-apps-f444/blackberry-priv-autoloader-qc8992-aac826-1049300/
*WARNING: THIS CAN BRICK YOUR DEVICE WITH NO FIX AT THIS TIME.*
Only works with this device - ShopBlackBerry STV100-1 (na variant with no subvariant)
OS - AAC826
What I bring you is an OS autoloader for the BlackBerry Priv. My understanding that this is meant for the ShopBlackBerry (possibly Amazon) variant of the Priv only. It checks for has a script in the batch file checks for the variant and subvariant, if these don't match it will error. Removing the check and installing it on a non-supported Priv WILL brick the device, this has been confirmed.
This is destructible load and will wipe all data.
I know for sure it does not work on AT&T Priv STV100-1 and will brick it.
Using the fastboot.exe file I determined a few variant names.
I would like to see what subvariants are for each model. I will create a chart as we get more information.
ATT - The autoloader will not work with this model and will brick the device.
variant - na
subvariant - att
ShopBlackBerry - The autloader will work with this model.
Variant - na
Subvariant - (blank)
I haven't had much time to this point to mess around with the files, but will continue to look through them.
Mega files: https://mega.nz/#!XwwgXKSa!jW5QtNnqh90Inx676t9bE1b6TOYlUt3WqOMTKPoBC_4
BlackBerry Android Support Software (Drivers): https://swdownloads.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=4EE0932F46276313B51570F46266A608
Holding down the power button and volume down key for 30 seconds will take you to the BlackBerry Bootloader menu.
I will continue to update OP as we learn more.
Oh and if you brick your device you are out of luck at this point. So again don't screw around with this unless you know what you are doing or have a money and time to waste.
- Mr. Freeze
Edit: I have now dumped the system files. Have fun!
Here is the link to the system files: https://mega.nz/#!z5AGyaaS!cxVwt_pSCBdTiPCb_pVhNxATV5xl1xX8_-JhCLzuoaU
P.S. Thanks Usman for help procuring this!
This file is the real deal. Please be very careful if you attempt to test loading on your Priv. IT WILL BRICK YOUR PHONE.
Interested in seeing the outcome with this...

This. Be very careful.
Do not edit the batch file to skip the variant check, I figured this out the hard way.
It should work fine on a the proper variant though, which is the ShopBlackBerry unlocked devices.
Don't take this as a definitive answer that the Priv is coming to T-Mobile or Sprint, but I found their boot animations in here.
Also found Verizons, which we know is coming.
Verizon's is an animated boot image without audio. (Old Verizon logo though)
T-Mobile's is a static image and it includes the default T-Mobile ringtone.
Sprint's is an animated boot image without audio.

What do you mean?
If you're asking if this will work with that device, then the answer is no. It is only for the STV100-1 North America with a subvariant of none. Which means it is factory unlocked from ShopBlackBerry or possibly Amazon.
I have updated the OP to include a dump of all the system files.

It is something related to BB10. Basically, it's an exe that lets you manually install a version of BB10 to your Blackberry device. They are often used when a version of BB10 is leaked before the updates roll out to phones. I have used them on my Z30 before.

Hi guys,
I wanted to make sure if this version is compatible with my AT&T S7 edge (SM-G935A)
Here is the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-s7-edge/how-to/odin-apk1-tmobile-tmbg935ttmb4apk1-t3494724

Also, can you guys tell me which version of Odin works best with this firmware (don't want to get fail and brick my phone)
I hate to say this, but I think my phone stopped receiving updates from ATT (because I don't want to keep changing my sim card, my sim card is T-Mobile(Metro) and I read the threads that said that in order to update they have to put the ATT sim card. I don't want to do that since my sim card keep coming out of the card (atleast I got in the tray and works)
Anyways, can someone confirm this is compatible with the firmware?
Thanks

Yes you should be fine. I did use this particular on my 935a ATT S7 Edge. Only thing that did not work on my behalf was Wifi Calling. Since you have a TMobile sim in an ATT phone it could work. The Odin I used was Prince's Odin in the Root thread.

Thanks! Well, first of all, my bootloader version is 2. Should I download the T-Mobile firmware bootloader v2 or the latest one(v4)?
One question, whats the difference between home_csc and csc? Is it wiping data? Does using home_csc works with it? If not, I am fine to try csc version.
Honestly I have to check when I get home. Currently at work still. With bootloader you can always upgrade but you can NEVER downgrade. It would result in a fail.

You need to enable oem unlock in developer options and then you will able to unlock your bootloader

If it's greyed out, then u have to do a factory reset. However, it still wont unlock it.
I had the same problem when I was trying to unlock my phone's bootloader, but it failed every time, so I'm just waiting if anyone is able to unlock it.
My phone's (Pixel 2) Android version is 8.1.0 and patch level is March 5, 2018.
Let me know if it works out for you.
Thanks

There was a brief period of time where a bunch of us got our VZW Pixel 2's bootloaders unlocked, the mega thread is here https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-2/help/maybe-stupid-question-verizon-pixel-2s-t3726294/post74983838#post74983838, but from what I've read the firmware was patched in February that closed this window/loophole. Also carrier unlocked != bootloader unlocked, it just means you can use it on any carrier's network. Has nothing to do with OEM Unlock in Developer Options. Hope that helps.
With the new update a i make a new recovery flasher option for devices with project treble. Test it and told me if it works
unlocked my sprint galaxy note 8 for any network domestic and international . As title states. Does not void warranty. No rooting no custom recovery. unlock. phone does not have to be paid off. Im using my sprint galaxy note 8 on sprint , and tmobile . So there legit options for us sprint note 8 users if you search. nice to be unlocked with no penalties from our carrier in my oppinion

Hi!
How did you do it? My was unlocked but it updated to July's security patch and it locked. How can I unlock it again? I am in Mexico and really need to update it.
Curious here too.

Search ebay for the unlock that says does not void warranty. Permanent unlock. Just serch sprint galaxy note 8 carrier unlock. And you will find the one. And i updated to july security patch and am still unlocked. It is permanent.
Will do.

Still working flawless. On android 9.0 still unocked. All i do is pop in which sim card i want to use.dont have to change anything. It restarts and even puts the boot animation and carrier apps of which sim card i have in. On to rhe phone. And automattically sets the correct apn
Yup.
Check out my speeds. I get like 45 50 mbps down on sprint and 120-150 on tmobile crazy
alright. so i want to say i went this route as well. i have 3 months left on my sprint contract.that being said, i have the files he used during the unlocking process. the problem is there is another thing he did to actually unlock it. he used something called flexihub while it was in the combination firmware to actually do something on his machine that i couldnt see. this is something he did on the modem level, but i confirmed with him that it doesnt matter if i flash another firmware using odin, my sim will still be unlocked. i have tried this with verizon sim and it works. again, my contract is not up with sprint yet, which means my device shouldnt be unlocked, but this somehow works. if anyone else wants this, here is the ebay seller link that i got mine done within an hour. keep in mind that you have to back up your device, because what he does is flash firmware. also he will need access to your computer to work remotely, but he never strayed from what he was doing. for 7 bucks, this is a steal.
