S8 Unlock status - Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions and Answers

Hi,
I have S8 (950F) bought in Europe, and recently got a network unlock code from the operator. All works well and it is now unlocked.
However, with previous experience and stories told by others it seems that operators are able to remotely lock the phone again. Has anyone experienced this or knows the explanation?
Also on the older phones you could enter the code, like *#XXXXXXX# to bring up the menu that shows the lock status, network, sim etc. Does such menu exists for S8?
Thanks.

does any have the unlock codes for a HTC dash cell phone that is locked to T Mobile network?
To unlock what?
My D3G came app-unlocked from T-mo. I have installed a dozen apps since I received it.
SIM unlock, so it could be used on other networks. But the unlock code depends on the phone's IMEI, so nobody "has the unlock code" for a phone besides the carrier it's locked to and whatever companies have access to that code.

[Q] Unlocking T-Mobile Note 3 to Verizon

I am attempting to factory unlock a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 originally on the T-mobile network and place a Verizon sim card into the phone.
I have done hours of research to find that I have a few options.
1. I need to purchase an unlock code from a website (that hopefully won't scam me)
2. Contact the carrier to see if they will give me an unlock code
3. Use the service menu on the phone to mess with some "Network Lock" settings
I have spoken with a friend of mine who said that even if I pursue any of these options, the phone will still not function because I am trying to go from a GSM network to a CDMA network. He said the data will function but the phone calls will not come in.
I am in desperate need of some help if anyone can respond. Thanks.

AFAIK the t-mobile version only comes unlocked. It should be just a matter of turning on the radios for the verizon bands you want to be able to use and putting in a verizon sim card.

[Q] Can i check phone unlocking without inserting sim card from different networks ?

During my work on cell phones, we need to check if my cell phone is able to access all networks available in my area. If i would like to check after unlocking , my phone will be able to work on all networks. Do we have any way in phone's service menu or any app available on play store.
For example after unlocking if i would like to check if my phone will work on Rogers, fido , wind , mobilicity , bell and telus. Is there any ways to check without inserting sim card from all these networks ??
I know in some of old samsung phones we can check unlocking by *#7465625# , but this code is not working on new phones any more. but this menu could tell us only if phone is locked or unlocked. just wondering if anybody developed any app or if there is any option available in service menu where we can check how much signal strength we will get from different networks without swapping different sim cards ?

My G930p is not connecting after unlock

I have this Samsung s7 which was locked to sprint Which was sent to me in Nigeria. After the purchase , i tried the online team viewer unlock with a guy i saw on ebay. After the unlock process, the phone didn't show invalid sim like it did when i first bought the phone. But the issue is that the network strength and mobile data isnt showing but i can receive calls.,I can not dial ussd code. They turn out to be voice calls each time I try, i also see ' romaning indicator off' on the home screen instead of the name of the network (MTN). I need someone to come to my rescue.

unlocked my s10+

I unlocked my s10+ from a website I already input the code and everything worked. My question is if this phone ends up being black listed for non payment will it effect the unlock?
i dont think your so. your provider wont be able to check that remotely. even if they can they wont be able to lock your phone
Who did you use to unlock it?
From what I understand, if a US carrier blacklists it then it won't work on any US carrier. It should still work with non-US carriers, though.
