HelLo, I'm facing random apps closing themselves in Android 7. 1 based ROMs. I've tried AEX, Los, and both of the ROMs have this closing...apps which I've seen closing automatically :
TOI
SNAPCHAT
BBC
CNN
(they only close when I open stories back to back, or scroll fast.. Maybe it's something related to ram. Manamagemt, but I didn't have any such issues with 7.0 stock ROM).
I don't have substrautjm n also I havent rooted my. Phone..
I've also got the same problem. The twitter app always freezes after some images shown. Also Bundle app couldn't display news after some while. I'm using Aosp extended with opengapps stock.
Anyone have ideas what is causing the problems?
Even Im having multiple apps crashing after sometime. 321 player is not working ,downloaded the latest version. but crashes while opening the app.

got same problem with google maps any fix for this aex 4.5

I know the app itself is a bit useless but I have come across an issue.
When I run the app on a Rom such as Cataclysm or Purity the app works no issues.
If I run it on a CM based rom I will get a NEws Feed error and the only way to get it to refresh is either logout or sometimes go looking at my photos.
Anybody else got this issue?
Started using Klyph but I dont like having issues without trying to sort it. Have tried the beta, non beta, full wipe, dirty flash, with the same result,

If anyone is interested have tracked this down to Xposed framework on my phone. When I run stock no issues with app. Install Xpsed and I get News Feed error.
The problem I am having is mainly with facebook messenger chatheads, the amount of lagg and delay I am getting when I open a chathead is unbearable. I would say there is a good 5 seconds before the chathead actually opens. Typing is also greatly delayed, when I've pressed all the letters it takes a good 2 seconds before they pop up on screen.
The things I have tried to maybe fix it are the following:
* Clear cache/dalvik (multiple times)
* Clear app cache (multiple times)
* Install older versions of facebook messenger (have tried many)
* Use different launchers, both stock Oxygen and nova launcher result in same lagg
* Install different ROMs
Currently running:
Android version: 5.1.1
Oxygen version: 2.1.2
ROM: SkyDragon ROM v1.1
kernel: Boeffla-Kernel-1.0-beta18
Hope anyone could figure something out, I am a huge messenger user and this lagg is really driving me crazy. maybe it's a Lollipop issue?
My friend has the same phone and says he got no problems at all...

I can confirm the same problem and the same things as you done.. Need to be fixed by OxygenOS next OTA..

It's an Oxygen OS issue. Facebook and Messenger runs smoothly on CM ROMs.

Hi everyone. I've used for a while MiFavor 5.0 on my U device. But I have some issues. Maybe you have same ones and you find a solution..
1. Root Explorer is not working.
2. Fun Run 2 is not working. (It works after installed but it is not working anymore if you close from recent apps.)
3. Sliding is not smooth on Google+ & Twitter.
I've upgraded my Chinese Axon 7 to MiFavor5.0(A2017V2.0.0B08) And it has some bugs and glitches associating with google apps especially google play games, it doesn't sync and it is stuck on this page(see screenshot) .It also doesn't sync to Chrome. Another issue is that if you go to settings/google/sign in and security it gives this error(second screenshot).Please help if you know how to fix these issues. This update has really messed up my Axon7.(I have reset factory both before and after the update)
I don't experience your issues.. the only thing that bugs me is when I'm using VPNs. previously on B01, when I close the vpn app on the tasks, it also closes the vpn connection. But on B08 when I close the app, the vpn connection still remains.
Things were going great the last few days on Android P until this morning. All of a sudden, post a few playstore app updates, the OS became unusable. Google Services (this apk possibly got an OTA update) kept stopping in a loop and all apps started closing....which ended up blocking me from using the phone (couldn't access settings etc. and was too lazy to adb into the device to troubleshoot). Ended up rolling back to oreo. Anyone else faced this?
More information please, where you rooted, custom kernel.ect
I was getting fc'z like crazy yesterday after a fresh install, what I ended up havingto do was a factory reset in twrp and have had none since.
No root, no custom kernel/recovery. Just pure Google provided images and apps from play store

no such issues here (yet).
clean install, no root.
Clean install of Android P with Magisk 16.1 last night. No issues so far but I'm not even 24 hours in. I do know that the Android P dev notes from Google report that the system can get extremely unstable over time. So the OPs issues make sense.
The way I'm looking at it is if my phone runs perfectly on Android P for 5-6 days before starting to hiccup, then I have no problem quickly reflashing Android P without wiping data every 5-6 days since it takes like 30 seconds and doesn't force me to re-download or re-setup any apps. To me, this would be worth it in order to run an otherwise stable version of Android that most other phones won't get until this time next year.
But, if I only make it 48-72 hours before the phone starts really acting up, I'll probably go back to 8.1 until the next iteration of Android P dev preview is released.
Clean flashed P the day it dropped, flashed magisk and flash when both were updated to support them. Only minor crashes every other day or so.

Clean install, no root. Widgets disappear randomly once or twice a day.

Stock launcher or a differnt launcher? I've been using Nova Prime since installing Android P 2 days ago and haven't had any issues with widgets disappearing or malfunctioning.

Stock Launcher. Might have to switch to NOVA. This is getting annoying.
I have tried to load my NBA TV App and My Fox sports go App they load the title screen and then changes me back to my main home screen, I have uninstalled and reinstalled these apps and the problem remains.

I have the same issue with the BBC iPlayer app. It has arisen very recently. No idea how to fix this. I suspect an update might be needed (for the M3 not the app). This is the only android I've had where most apps are flagged up as not being optimised for this device.

it was weird, If go into the bootloader I cannot get past an old EMUI update. that tries to load and crashes. However my Pad was not loading 3 or 4 Apps and all of a sudden it straighten itself out and the problem stopped. I really feel there are no really good Android Pad and unfortunately I may be headed to an IPAD when this Bricks.
Had the same issue and saw a story on Android Authority about problems with Google Play services and Huawei. Followed instructions for a beta version of Google Play services, installed and this fixed my issues with apps not loading.
