You should backup efs/radio from twrp before you start flashing roms because anything can go wrong at anytime.
Flash latest firmware from odin then follow the instructions
Given below
Step 1
Open odin in pc.
Step2
Choose ( BL ) tab in odin and upload the file given below.
https://mega.nz/#!3YtWAQyb!4w5TjsBP2Br6YkRmra6GauNBgcTp_mRLxLrRkuCMghI
Step 3.
Put your phone in download mode .
Step 4.
Connect your phone via usb cable and hit start in odin.
After this flash again latest firmware then go to stock recovery and wipe cache/wipe data factory reset.
Reboot and wait until phone start on setup screen.
Inshallah your phone will be fine.

Assalam o alaikum

Remove the root and other things which void your warranty and give it to a nearby samsung store... They will surely get a fix for it...

[Q] After flash firmware, just have error messages

Hi guys!
I come here in a kind of dispair... I was using this firmware "I9505VJUGNI2_I9505ZTOGNI2_ZTO" in my i9505, then
I flashed trough ODIN a firmware "I9505XXUGNH8_I9505OLBGNH2_MM1".
After the process the phone reseted and updated, but as soon as it initiates, I just get errror messasges... I can't go to the system itself. The messages are constante.
I know the second firmware needed a diferent kernel than the one installed before, but I didn't flash it.
Than I tried to flach back the first firmware, but after the sucessfull flash trough odin, I still get the same error messages over and over... and worst... the second firmware is from Singapure, then the system language is not understandeble.
So guys, Waht can I do?

The best firmware for your device is the one with correct CSC. Follow this steps:
1. Install Kies 3 and conect your phone to the pc.
2. Take a look your CSC (pic attached)
3. Go to Sammobile.com and download the correct firmware (with correct CSC) for your device.
4. Flash this firmware through ODIN.
5. Enjoy :highfive:

[Q] How To Make Samsung Galaxy Core 2 (SM-G355H) Good As New?

I just want to know how to make it GOOD AS NEW just in case something went wrong with my device. Thanks in advance!

Hi,
In order to restore everything on your device as good as new, you must download the original stock firmware along with the pit file (if needed). You can obtain the firmware via either Sammobile or Samsung Updates. Don't forget to check your phone model before downloading. After downloaded, reboot your phone to Download mode then extract and flash the firmware via ODIN on AP. After the stock firmware installed, reboot to Recovery mode and select both Wipe data/factory reset and Wipe cache partition.
Hope this helps.

Is the firmware downloaded from sammobile safe? Can you teach me or give me a link how to use odin and will it conflict kies in my computer? Also, will these methods erase binary counters like triangle away?

Hi,
Sammobile requires you to register at their site, but it's safe and also fast to download. Besides the firmware and ODIN, you need the USB Drivers installed and Debugging mode to be enabled (by tapping Build number 7 times on Settings -> About device).
Files to download:
ODIN -> Click here
USB Drivers -> Technical Documentation | SAMSUNG Developers
After you obtain the firmware and ODIN, here is the step to use ODIN to flash firmware:
Extract the firmware and ODIN to anywhere you know.
Open ODIN, click AP button, and choose the firmware (in .tar.md5 format).
Hit start.
Firmware flash will take about 5-10 minutes. Don't unplug the USB cable or you will hard brick your phone.
After you see green RESET! or PASS, unplug USB cable from your phone and wait until recovery installs all files.
Don't forget to reboot to Recovery mode and choose both Wipe data/factory reset and Wipe cache partition.
After installing the stock firmware back, it's safe to update or connecting your device via Kies as long as your stock firmware is not modified (either by rooting or something else). And on your last question. Do you mean that this method will erase flash binary counters? If yes, probably not.
As a additional note, download the version that match your region code. So doing a backup of EFS partition is strongly recommended!
Hope this helps.
give me firmware link????????
@SwakyD http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-G355H/ Here you have bro
Yes...it is safe i myself is using rom from their
But u have to regester

dm-verity verification failed

2 days ago i flashed twrp on my pure stock note 4, i did backup my rom including EFS using twrp and then flash kyubi rom with nameless kernel, it all went well. just now i wipe data ,system, cache on twrp and restore my backup stock rom and it went well too...and then i try to flash stock rom using odin so i can get back the stock recovery mode for OTA update when MM releases.. the flashing was a sucess and phone booted but my data inside werent wipe.
so i went to recovery mode and saw this dm-verity verification failed on the bottom i proceed to wipe data and reboot my phone, its all working now no problems except i cant reset my phone with the setting inside it will just bring me to recovey mode and stay there with that message.
now i did some research, some saying will bootloop and stuffs but mine is all ok no problem except i cant reset it inside the settings..
anyone can help me get rid of that message/problem?
If you format everything in advance format in twrp and then flash stock firmware this message will go away.
got the same problem. Then I went to a local store. They helped me. Here are steps
1. Pull out your battery, check your serial number (S/N:....)
2. Download smart switch, enter emergency software recovery..... Enter your serial number
3. Turn off your phone. Enter download mode or sth ( I don't remember it clearly. just power + vol down or up. just try it)
4. Smart switch will recognize your phone. Choose a firmware to download. then wait
5. Enjoy stock firmware
Use kies3 reinstall drivers, then use emergency recovery in kies to reinstall your current firmware or opt to update to latest or most recent release or version then follow kies instructions
rooted s5 smg900r4
Hello everyone
I have found a way to fix dm-verity and DRK issues and it works like official, meaning no errors in stock recovery and OTA works with Official firmware, the problem is related to corrupted/deleted 3 files on /efs partition. I have tested it on SM-N910C so I guess it works on other Exynos variants, perhaps even on snapdragon if the partition layout is similar? Kies won't restore DRK or dm-verity check because it doesn't write to EFS. I can fix yours if someone is interested via Team Viewer, you will need the following:
1. PM contact me for Skype ID
2. Stock rom, rooted (any root method)
3. Adb debugging enabled and drivers installed (Kies or SmartSwitch)
After repair you can enter your stock recovery and confirm there is no DRK/dm-verity red letters error.
Regards,
magix01
please guide us the proceedure here .. i have a phone with same problem & i have to update it to MM ...

If you just unlocked your bootloader and thats it, your rom should still be the stock one.

My phone won't boot!

Dear xda users,
I have a big problem with my Samsung S7 Edge G935F!
Yesterday my phone restarts continuously so I used Odin to flash Firmware Stock. First, I used this Firmware: http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/how-to/official-stock-firmware-update-odin-t3335065 .
Odin doesn't show any errors and my phone restarts; but after Samsung S7 Edge Boot Splash Screen, the phone shows a screen with yellow triangle and Android dead and then, phone restarts in Stock Recovery Mode.
In the Recovery mode when I press Reboot System Now or PowerOff, appears "Verifying DMVerity Hash Tree..." and then "Failed" and my phone restarts again in Recovery.
I tried Wipe data and cache but Nothing!
Then I tried to repair firmware with Kies 3: No errors but my phone won't boot!!
And then I tried another firmware file with Odin but nothing!
The phone is Completely Stock! Recovery Mode and Download Mode work and the phone is recognised by PC.
Please help me!
Thanks in advance
Sorry for my english

Have you tried doing a "Factory Data Reset" in stock recovery yet?
If not, do that before doing anything else.
The Factory Data Reset in stock recovery will WIPE your internal
sdcard but it will not wipe your external SD if you have one.
Also it would be very helpful to know the exact filename(s) of the
stock firmware(s) which you have tried to odin flash and what the
model of your phone is. (G938F) or other variant?)
Good luck and have a great day!

Yes I tried Wiped data/Factory Reset and Wipe cache partition in Stock Recovery..
Device: Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
Model: SM-G935F
Firmwares tha I tried to flash with Odin:
Netherlands (Android 6.0.1) G935FXXU1APF2_G935FPHN1APE2_G935FXXU1APEQ_PHN
Italy (Android 6.0.1) G935FXXU1APF2_G935FITV1APE2_ITV
If flashing succeeds, and you still have the same problem:
go back with your device where you bought it
You can't solve it yourself, and probably something is wrong/defect with the main-board
When you 1st discovered the continuous reboot:
1. why did you not go to the store where you bought your phone?
2. why trying to flash "other firmware" on your phone instead of your "original firmware"?
What's your original CSC? Flash your phone with your original phone's CSC and bring your phone back for repair and/or replacement!
