OK. When I went to download it, I was still prompted with "Before downloading the system image for the Android O Developer Preview, you must agree to the following terms and conditions."
Was just curious, because of that.

That's the OTA from DP4 to official build.
I just signed up for the Beta program and they gave me OPR6.

Not if you register for the Beta, no, since it treats it as an update. If, however, you Unregister for the Beta (i.e., revert to Nougat), then your phone will be wiped, as it will if you apply the factory image from the Android 8.0 System Images page .

A build number increase. The first file I received was OPR6.170623.011
And the new 938mb file is OPR6.170623.012.
There is also a different baseband number but the kernel is the same.

Well, that's not good because I'm actually on Fi, but this was originally a VZW phone.
Had Nougat and my bluetooth was screwed up with the last update. Doing this from scratch. Is this official ? Why isn't it on the nexus factory images page that still shows 7.1.2.
I just contacted with Google

I like the fact that they're releasing frequent updates but the problem is they add nothing to our valuable G3 so why wate resources for a mirage. better prepare an alpha or beta release of 5.0 already.

It will always be 4.4.2 until 5.0 because there is no point upgrading to 4.4.4. That only contains Nexus fixes, which we dont need, and some security fixes that can be added to 4.4.2. Google chose to add them and call the change 4.4.4, LG can add them directly because they arent fixes made by Google.

This is the first time this has happened. I upgraded with the LG PC Suite, then used LG Flash Tool to revert back to M and then Normal Flashed to N, causing the same issues, so it's gotta be an incompatibility with my settings (I've frozen a lot of apps through Titanium Backup) and the new OS.

"adb logcat" on a computer while checking for the update on the phone. It will always list the update URL. It's a pretty big patch -- 376 MB. Boot and recovery are modified but no separate fastboot. So either that's been added into the normal partition commands, or it's still going to be an OTA to enable bootloader unlocking.
Can't wait to hear from the brave souls who update first have to say. I'm goign to keep my root/twrp for now

"B27" Downloaded and installed. Not all of what everyone/most where asking for, but substantial enough to make a believer out of me. Security patch level at September 1, 'Backup account' no longer greyed out, tweeked signal strength indicator, audio no longer drops out when starting camera and probably a host of other tweeks under the hood.
No announcement about stock images, not good.
I have OTA

I posted the same in @DrakenFX's thread, but I'm happy to try out whatever folks think would be best:

2.) Update to B27, then try to unlock via the thread instructions

Okay thanks. I too am hoping this update will fix the bluetooth connectivity issues. I read somewhere that Google has been working on a fix.
Droid Life believes this will include BT fixes.
Which would be great as I felt like throwing my phone out the window as I never connected to my BT speaker at home yesterday.

I did change my CSC to INS so im wonder if its gonna to work.. maybe VPN will be needed.
I tried connecting to an UK VPN but it did not work for me. I'm on INS CSC.
I hope someone would be able to pull the OTA update and share it for everyone else like someone did when OneUI 3 beta was going on last year. Pretty sure flashing the BTU rom will work but I wouldnt go through that hassle since I have my watch also paired with the phone. Reseting the firmware would require me to setup the watch all over again and in case of LTE watch, it is a nightmare since the telecom provider here has ****ty system, they struggle to remove the number previously paired with watch. It took me a week and dozens of frustrating calls with them to sort the issue out last time.
Wow thanks for sharing. There is no update about this anywhere else. Hopefully we in US can get it soon too.
Can someone catch the URL?
How to capture:
Install HTTP Canary app: https://m.apkpure.com/httpcanary-—-http-sniffer-capture-analysis/com.guoshi.httpcanary
1. Load canary
2. Start the update download but don't pause it.
3. Go back to canary and start that and it will grab the link.
