Hello!
After a power off I can't boot CM7 on ZTE Blade because of SIM, without SIM works perfectly, it boots. It worked with SIM for 1 month, but now it didn't. I made a stock rom restore but no resolution. In other mobile the SIM card works, and another SIM works in ZTE Blade. It's weird. Is it a hardware related problem? But only with one SIM card, which worked before this?
Replacement sim

I had similar problem with my galaxy tab, it was a defective sim card. Try get a replacement sim card, or just try another sim card.

Hi, I suddenly started to face the exactly same problem. I was running RR 5.7.4 and SIM cards are now not detected in any slot. Tried reflashing and it still doesn't work. Putting a small piece of paper behind the SIM also doesn't work.
Thus, I worry it could be a hardware problem.
Any ideas how to fix this?
Try with another sim.Is imei is still there?
I faced that problem with some sim cards. But other sim is being detected. So try another sim cards.
Other sims also do not work.
It still shows me imei...
I have a redmi2 it,s still working nice until last week there is no signal and message say that I should activate my sim , and radio signal was deactivated ...and I can,t chose the 2G mobile network
I have been trying for the last few hours to get my UK Moto X Force to accept a dual sim configuration to no avail. I have listed the different methods I have tried below hoping that someone can identify a solution.
1st Method:
Rooted my phone and used the instructions for the Moto X Play variant to enable dual sim functionality as listed here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-play/help/enabling-dual-sim-single-sim-devices-t3225546
I followed this method through by adding the several lines of code to a local.prop file and rebooted. The phone now had access to the Dual Sim settings and identified my 1st SIM within the phone but not the 2nd. Where it said 2nd SIM 'No Sim Inserted'. I tried with multiple SIM cards and the same error popped up, there were no issues with the sim card touching the connector plates for the 2nd sim as they had scratched the card, a visible connection had been made.
2nd Method:
I installed a Mexican Dual Sim variant of the OS and inserted both cards. Bluetooth, WiFi and Mobile connection were not working however the Dual sim menu was available. I then flashed the UK modem onto the phone which fixed the WiFi and Bluetooth not working as well as the mobile connection. However once again only one of the sims worked and slot 2 was labelled as being empty.
Any suggestions on what to try next would be appreciated to get the dual sim functionality, functional!
Thanks
I think that UK edition doesn't really have hardware required for dual SIM. Tray is just generic for all Force variant.
Actually both of your attempts proved that. I would like to be wrong in this case
Any ideas?

Need to try. The files in the fsg folder are different. I did not succeed, but it should work, if someone seriously takes up this issue.
Has anyone got the modem files to flash?
I've mistakenly flashed the Brazilian rom on mime and lost wifi
Hi all, my father has this phone and his sim slot only working with aircel and as it is going to shut down , he ported to Vodafone
But the new sim infact no other sim than aircel is detected in first port !
Any solution ?
Phone is on stock KitKat with no tampering done till now and after this issue i thought of updating, it shows carrier not switched error !
So i different solutions, tried many but no help , just one last hope is to extract system, zip from ota and flash it manually from update through sd card, my doubt is will it create any further errors or it is safe to do so ?
Hello everyone:
3 months ago I flashed the Global Rom to my Redmi Note 7 and then proceeded to lock the bootloader and everything is working ok except for the fact that only one of the two sim slots works (the other slot doesn't even appear on the phone settings) and that I have to eject and reinsert my sim every time the phone boots for it to be recognized on the working slot
I've spent all this time trying to find a solution but there's not much information available because the problem is caused by a specific carrier in a specific country (Telcel, México) disabling the second slot (only god knows what they did to the phone).
Anyways, a guide recently surfaced that apparently fixes this issue by the use of Xiaomi Tool, QPST Qualcomm and a series of steps to flash am EFS partition (.qcp file) to the phone.
However I'm not that tech Savy, and even though I could follow the steps on the guide just fine, I have no idea of what the process is going to do and I don't want to ruin this phone as it is my daily driver.
Could somebody out there share some knowledge on the topic? If neccesary I could PM the guide, but it's written in spanish
But as I understand efs partition is IMEI information and shouldn't be flashed with any other... You're doing good to ask...
I have the same problem with the second Sim card or MicroSd but I only have one Sim and a 128 Gb phone so it doesn't import for me... I'll be looking this thread for any solution... Thankyou... ?
I used the guide that you are talking about one week ago and the first thing that I do is see the IMEIs and compare with ones in the box, it is the same.
I resolve the problem to eject the sim every time that I reboot the phone and the 2 sim slots are working. I don't have any problems in my phone for use the guide.
If you have some questions send me a PM. Sorry for my bad English but I'm very new in this languaje.
