Ok... can somebody tell me how to upload framework-res.apk and systemui.apk from stock browser to UOT kitchen?
I get files not found after clicking select button.
Or is there any UOT kitchen app? That would be great!

How to use the kitchen
1. Go to the Kitchen page http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/
2. Browse through the available mods and choose what you want (don't forget to press Generate preview if there is such a button)
3. Go to the file upload section and upload the required files, or choose the ROM you use from the kitchen's list (most roms in the list are for HTC Desire)
Files you need to upload:
Froyo rom: framework-res.apk
Gingerbread rom: framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk
Gingerbread with sense rom: framework-res.apk, SystemUI.apk and com.htc.resources.apk
Cyanogenmod7 rom: Cyanbread.apk or Androidian.apk or any theme for ThemeChooser (rename as you like it to apear in theme menu)
NOTE 1: if you’re uploading theme apk then do not upload any other files; you’re just wasting traffic, because the kitchen will ignore additional files
NOTE 2: Font packs and boot animation do not require files to be uploaded. If you choose only those mods then you get a download without a queue.
4. Go to the summary section. All chosen mods must have a green background. If there is a mod in red background it means you didn’t finish it.
Press Submit work to kitchen
5. Remember the UOT file name (your order number).
6. Go to the Pickup page http://uot.dakra.lt/pickup/ and wait for your file to appear (it can take from 5min to 1hr or more)
7. Download UOT zip into SD card of your phone
8. Reboot into recovery
9. Wipe cache and dalvik-cache (just in case). Do not wipe data / factory reset.
10. Flash UOT zip
11. Reboot phone

Sorry for hijacking this topic but I would like to ask if somebody successfully changed lock screen via UOT kitchen on Galaxy S? Thanks.
Hi
I saw this thread in Android Themes and thought I would link it here.
It shows u how to make cm7 exactly like ICS. I tried out the settings mod and the statusbar layout.
forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=19705557
The layout procedure is pretty complicated so I simplified it :
-Download ics_sb_layout by zdunex
-extract it on a computer
-open a zipped rom and move the following files to the "files_to_patch" folde
*/system/app/SYSTEMUI.apk
*/system/app/DownloadProvider.apk. */system/app/Music.apk
*/system/framework/framework-Res.apk
-run the patcher and one by one select first 4 options
-select option 5
-flash ics_patch.zip via cwm
Tested with BurgerZ.

For some reason I can't upload screenshots. If anyone wants to see pm me
Dear brothers :
I installed a custom ROM for my phone samsung Galaxy young GT-S5360
Dedicated Roman Information :
ROM Name:
Hyperion - Titan of the East
Build number:
Hyperion.DXLF2
I did not like the icons
How do I change the entire Icons
You experience a number of applications such as :
ICON CHANGER PRO
Did not do any good
Mentioned application does change the icons and put a shortcut on the desktop
I do not want this
I want to change application icons on the home screen
How so .?
Decompile the application you want to change the icon of with apk tool
You can see what the icon name is in the Android manifest
The icon itself will be located in res/drawable-ldpi
An easier way might be to download an icon pack (search the theme section)
Then open the Flashable zip & find the app name you are looking for - open that folder & put the image you want in there replacing the image in the folder (rename your image to match the one you are replacing)
Then flash it in cwm with system mounted

download that icon pack
open it with winrar or any other unzipper
goto the unpack folder
in there you will find a list of folders that relate to the applications - eg Calendar
open the res folder and replace the image in there with the one you want making sure your image has the same file name as the one you are replacing
once done delete any folders to apps you dont want to replace
flash the zip in cwm with system mounted

No - its pretty self explainitory
Unzip & replace images in the zip within the folder relating to the app
I'm sure you could search YouTube yourself for videos

you will need to be rooted
you can unzip the zip with any unzipper and rezip once done
you then flash the zip in cwm with system mounted
the rom will need to be de-odexed

I'm guessing you didn't mount system before flashing the zip
Remember you also need to be rooted & most likely need to be deodexed (most custom roms are already)

Hi devs. Hi users. Hi testers!
I made two zips that might help you in some random point of time in future.
Both zips are flashable via recovery. Note that I have only tested working on aosp and cm-based roms. No custom skinned-oem ROM tested. However, it would be good if you provide info on what roms they work (or not)
This zip will remove the password/pin/pattern from your lock screen and reset it to swipe-to-unlock mode.
Not tested with smart lock modes.

This zip allows you to authenticate ADB from device, without booting the ROM first. Useful for devs who need ADB access even while booting the ROM for the first time.
Things you must have :
Code:
1) A pc which you have previously used to authenticate ADB access.
2) The zip from my link.
3) Some non-noob brain. Majorly this zip is for devs.
How to proceed :
Code:
1) First we need to obtain a file named "adbkeys.pub".
1a) For windows, go to the windows drive (usually c: drive) and browse to /users/(your-username-here)/.android/
1b) For most Linux distros : go to home directory, browse to /.android/
Generally .android will be hidden by default. In that case, just enable hidden files and folders from folder view options.
2) After you get the adbkeys.pub file, open it with a text editor. You will see a code there. Copy all of that code. Or use the shortcuts (ctrl+A) and then (ctrl+C).
3) Extract my zip. You will see a file in /data/misc of the extracted zip. Open that file with text editor. Erase any previous text in my file. Or use the shortcut (ctrl+A) and then (del). Paste the previously copied code into that file. Or use the shortcut (ctrl+V).
4) Save the file, rezip the extracted folders (which are data and meta-inf).
5) Flash that final zip file from recovery.

Please hit thanks button if it helps you
This is my first mod using guides from this awsome thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/guides-android-8-0-oreo-mods-thread-t3772017 and this awsome tool https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1633333
Like the title says this is only for Oreo A520F DEODEX version FXXU4CRD5, but feel free to try on other versions. Just not ODEXED! I tryed it on HADES rom with no problem. Just backup in case of errors!
To my phone nothing happend but i still need to say that you are Flashing it at your own Risk!
Whats moded?
* Center clock
* Permanently Disable High Level Brightness Popup
Instalation:
1. FIRST ALWAYS MAKE BACKUP OF YOUR FILES BEFORE REPLACING THEM!!!
(i recomend to unzip the SystemUIMod.zip and replace the moded System UI.apk with your own System UI.apk and zip back the folder and save it on your sdcard. Dont forget to zip in zip not rar!)
2. Download the zip, restart in recovery and flash the zip, wipe dalvik/cache and restart. You will have to wait few minutes for android to upgrade.
Feel free to use this mode how ever you like, no permissions needed from me.
