ColtOS Project is presented by a team of learners and it is crafted from lineage Source with optimal but all the necessary customisations. We have cherry-picked the features from many other roms/projects and we are very thankful to them!! The OS is still in beta phase and growing like a vine. So, although there are no remarkable bugs experienced, if you find any, please let us know with a logcat.
Flashing Instructions:
- Verify that you're using the latest version of TWRP
- Perform a FULL WIPE as described below if coming from another ROM or a different version of Android
(A full wipe is when you wipe system/data/cache)

Actually I have more bunch of other stuffs to do. Most importantly, my studies. So I may do oreo.

Yes... I faced two times, when using wtsp,something went wrong and device is rebooted, also faced while playing any music app. The music get stopped and device gone gone for reboot. Some games also not responding while playing...

Magisk is not flashable it ends with error 1 and also there is a battery drain...while calling battery dropped from 90 to 30 during 15 min. Of call..I am using caesium kernal

I have faced root issues.
checked the kernel is Lineage. So downloaded the su from https://download.lineageos.org/extras
And installed it thru TWRP. Because whenever I installed the super su, it's saying 'su occupied'. Now it's fine. If any one found easy solution than this... Please let me know....

Yup by flashing add-on su you will get root access

No cancer as of now. May be in future.
Traffic Indicator and google license problem.

1. internet speed meter is shown but not working..
2. google play services shows device is not licensed...
.....Can you prdict how to get best battery backup as stock rom....
.......In stock and miui roms we have volte and video calling features can yu please port them in the next updates....(I use miui8 rom)

I'll try for VoLTE. Use any app for video calling and jio has an app for calling too.

Yeah that's true.. but you know it consuming battery life.. & need always on internet.... Um.. i think the Volte is better than a application... ????

Installed it, didn't like it. It's like you devs just copy rom base from one another, slap a bootlogo and a wallpaper and call it your rom.
The bad :
1. Internal problem with your device error on startup.
2. Via browser and Wallpapers installed by default. No need for that, really.
3. No statusbar clock option and icons too close to the sides.
4. Too much gap between battery icon and battery percentage text.
5. No lockscreen customisation. ( Clock font size etc. ).
6. From the moment I installed the rom, it took me 40 minutes to install apps, set up everything etc. So 10% battery drop on 40 minutes SOT. Not good.
7. No option to change system font color.
The good:
1. Magisk works after reboot.

i guess he need to blame google not dev. dev is working hard for it to make stable. but still some users dont understand it they just need a bugless rom even xiaomi also not perfect how we can be just tell him to think about it

Very nice rom brother but i am facing two issues
1. The focus in google camera is not working well it takes so much time to lock focus
2. Battery backup is good but could have been better..

encryption problem
after flash this rom their is an encryption problem? the phone does not boot to the google screen. i tried to use lazyflasher but there is no change. i tried to factory reset in recovery their is no change at all.

This is a light rom with all the customizations that u think are essential, most of the RAM is available, in some 2gb variants it may seem too much used up, but it is the system reserving memory to open intensive applications like gaming. So, you have the best of both worlds, battery and performance as well!!!

@Dhruvgera could you have a look at the statusbar corner paddings and the network icon and battery icon padding gaps? It kinda looks ugly. I know it doesn't matter at all but I guess keeping it a bit polished might be okay XD

I used Cerberus for a few hours.
I did not like it .
As a battery, it works well, it does not download quickly.
But during the call it warms up to your ear!
There are no clock setting options (left, right in the middle).
Also missing, button setting option (short press).
Missing is the option to move the keyboard slider to the volume keys.

Asked for password after first boot.. said "your password is correct but the data is corrupt and it will have to reset data "
I pushed the reset button and the same again .. and next I couldn't goto recovery either.

EDIT: I found a solution!
My device is encrypted, I don't know why, but it does.
So, I format userdata manually with this command on pc:
fastboot format userdata
Now its work!
