SM-A320FL trying to change CSC Code - Galaxy A3, A5, A7, A8, A9 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

Hi all
I have a new unbranded A3 2017 and a Swisscom SIM Card. In order to be able to use VoLTE I flashed this SWC Firmware from Sammobile:
A320FLXXU1AQF2_A320FLVFG1AQF2_SWC.zip
The Firmware flashed fine and the Vodafone CSC was selected by default. The phone works. Now I'm stuck trying to change the CSC from Vodafone to SWC.
I went through the same procedure without any issues with a Galaxy S7. With the S7, inputting *#272*62826# immediately brings up the list of available CSCs and lets me select one.
Not so with the A3. Inputting *#272*62826# brings up a window "USSD Code wird ausgeführt" and then the error message "UNKNOWN APPLICATION".
*#06# brings up the same window and error message, as does *#1234#. None of the USSD Codes seem to work.
Thanks a lot for any help.

SOLVED
A hard reset did the trick.

[Q] Galay Y flashed, unlocked, still not able to register into network

My Galaxy Y was from mexico, telcel locked and I wanted to flash it with a german version. I removed the netlock via Dokys Toolbox, flashed it with S5360_XXKK6_OXXKK2_XXKK5 version (and some others, too), everything went fine. I inserted my simcard, phone asked me for my pin, booted up, but I still cant register with my local provider.
Dont think I ruined my efs, dokys toolbox telling me it is unlocked, i am not confronted with a netcode text field any more, i even can get my imei via dial code.
So, someone got any idea what i might have missed, broken or has some hint to offer?
greetings
Moatu
i suppose you must flash the csc of your region to get back network - this is the common working solution to all such problems
yeah flash CSC!
Flashing a csc of my region didnt do the trick, still "cant register to network". I tried both DBT and DTM
The same thing is happening to me but I'm in Puerto Rico.

CSC Change - SIM Lock

Hey Guys,
Maybe you can help with this. I wanted to update my GS8 SM-G950FD to the latest version. Upon wiping the phone, I flashed the most current software, and then used the latest CSC changer to edit my CSC to TMB like it was on the previous build so that I can enjoy Wi-Fi Calling and VoLTE.
However, it seems during this process once it had completed, my phone is now showing a Not Supported SIM/Invalid SIM stating that I need to use the T-Mobile App to unlock the phone. This was a fully unlocked G950FD from the get go and I can't figure for the life of me how to remove the SIM lock that's apparently now on the phone. I've tried using at least 10 different carrier SIMS, including T-Mobile and none work.
Any help would be appreciated.
You should try to flash back to a G-950F CSC - the images are not compatible between the Snapdragon and Exynos phones.
I tried that with both XSP and BTU CSCs and now it’s says “SIM Network PIN blocked. Enter SIM network PUK.”
Says that no matter which SIM I insert.

Click to collapse
SIM PUK comes from your carrier. Call the carrier and ask for PUK code and see if it will work.
Also if you go to recovery menu, it will re-apply CSC.

Cannot go back to original service provider SW ver

S10 plus had this INS/INS, INS/INS in service provider SW ver. Typed *#272*imei# and selected BTU for sales code and netowrk code that made it BTU/BTU, BTU/INS in service provider SW ver in phone software info . Now I can't enable caller ID and spam protection so want to get back to INS/INS, INS/INS but can't as the same *#272*imei# does not work anymore. Odin Installed INS firmware and applied old method of going 2 recovery, removing sim factory reset etc. etc. Nothing changed it. PLZ HELP. Thank you.
Any help???

Unable to remove CSC from S10+: XFV/XFV/XFV. OXM f/w doesnt work, Magisk wont load

I have been unable to change the CSC on my G975F, which is currently showing as XFV/XFV/XFV (South Africa, Vodacom).
Background: until yesterday, my phone (XFV network) was working perfectly with an MTN South Africa network Sim Card. Then it suddenly started showing "Phone not allowed for voice". MTN Sim Card works in another phone, and the S10 works with a Vodacom simcard. Seems the network did an update to block other carrier's Sim Cards.
Since then, I have tried flashing the OXM firmware, and *#1234# shows that the OXM CSC is loaded, but the phone software still shows the CSC as XFV/XFV/XFV. The *#272*IMEI number# command does nothing.
I also tried installing Magisk, but the Odin flash hangs right at the end, and so cant get it onto the phone.
So my questions:
1) Is there a way to change the CSC without a rooted firmware?
2) If I use a rooted firmware, how do I then change the CSC?
3) Any advice on how to fix the issue Magisk, or get another rooted firmware?
Try using SamKEY, it costs a little bit. but worth it.
I'm having the same problem with an xfa version of the phone and it's showing the same "Phone not allowed on voice" error message when I put my vodacom sim card in it. I'm going the xfv route as it's the only way it will work with a vodacom number, it's confirmed the S.A carriers are now locking their devices to the 1 network using software (xfe/xfa) doesnt work with vodacom, xfv, xfa doesn't work with vodacom or it just may be vodacom only. This is the only place i could find something related to this issue, if anyone can assist it'll be great for us South Africans

Galaxy S8 not picking mobile network

So I bought a used Galaxy S8 (SM-G950F) from the aftermarket. Upon doing a factory reset, the dreaded "only official released binaries are allowed" message started showing. Tried everything including wiping cache, factory-reset (multiple times). Finally found a Youtube video that showed me how to download official Samsung firmware from sammobile.com and install it using Odin. The video also suggested that I should download the "BTU" version from ANY country if I had an F model (which is supposedly international). So I downloaded the one titled United Kingdom (BTU). FWIW, the exact firmware file name was G950FXXS9DTEA_G950FOXM9DTE1_BTU.
I followed the steps in that video and viola, phone started like normal. I restored my account, got back everything working.
The only problem that I'm now facing is that my phone does not recognize my mobile sim. Earlier it was simply showing ? symbol for network. After some restarts, tray eject/inject Now it is now showing the signal bar, but it is grayed out. In Settings > Mobile Networks > Network operators, clicking Select automatically shows error "Unable to connect. Try later.", whereas clicking Select manually shows "Error while searching for networks". I have searched around quite a bit and it seems to be a well-known issue, but the posted solutions (fractory reset, sim cleaning, switching to 2G mode etc) are the things that I have already tried.
Is there anything else that I should try before contacting my network operator? Specifically I'm suspicious about the firmware that i have downloaded. Can it be that United Kingdom (BTU) is locked for the networks that operate within UK only (I'm not in the UK)?
EDIT
------
Further investigation revealed that this phone's had been flashed with fake IMEI number. The number that I see in *#06# is totally different from what is printed at the back of the phone, which is what is probably causing the sim problem I mentioned above (local laws require IMEI to be registered with authorities for a device to be able to work).
Even a factory reset and wipe didn't restore the original EMEI number. Is it the end of the road for me? Or can I restore the original EMEI somehow?
