I can agree here.. Very good quality
audio is good but I am not sure about the reception. I had an incoming call from a landline number and every time the person on the other end was quite the audio was like on mute, no background noises no static nothing. When the person starts to talk everything back to normal. Not sure why it happened but happened only once out of 3 calls from the same number,
has anyone noticed that when talking over 4G there's a HD icon on the phone app? When this appears the call is of higher quality
People on the other side keep complaining about random inaudible audio moments

Same here. When phone is in horizontal position, i.e. on table, speaker is unusable, other side can't understand me. Probably back mic gets muted and confuses software with audio processing. Stock headphones are also unusable for calls. In normal mode calls are pretty decent. I'm on TA-1012.
Edit: A few words
Very good audio!
It has a really good microphone but if you want to unleash the real quality then I recommend tuning onto VoLTE and VoWifi. If your wireless network is decent you'll expirience far better calls quality.
People on the other side keep complaining about audio cutting out fom time to time. Any way to fix this?
Yepp, when You say nothing in call there is a audio cut off.
General Audio processing in voice notes , calls , video recording is not so good as in my xperia z5 compact.
The sony produces much better audio

the sound is very clear, i use it since yesterday and it's better than on my S6
Not as good as Pixel XL 2 on loudspeaker or headphone mode. My girlfriend says it's much quieter.
Excellent but not on hands-free
Excellent sound quality for the other person. You can hear the other person very clear but need to position your ear on the exact point of the loudspeaker of the P20 Pro
Hands-free is quite the same as other flagship phones.

How to enable airtel volte in p20 pro singapore mobile
Quality is good, you can hear the other Person very well.
But i have a big problem when it comes to handsfree with my car audio. I have really really annoying noises while talking over Bluetooth.
So i have no issues hearing people but when i am talking to people on my P20pro they say they cannot hear me properly or i sound like i am "robotic" like a distorted voice. anyone else having this issue?
I cant hear people properly using my cars bluetooth (either sounds distorted or they sound far away) yet the car works fine with my note 4.
Normal voice call use is perfect cant fault it.
Usually the earpiece sounds very clear in phone calls, but every now and then, the sound becomes very quiet. Not sure what's causing it exactly. It's very rare though.

call quality is good when we have good network coverage.
Since the latest update to the Honor 10 B104 the call quality is a lot better now.
How is the call quality compared to the OnePlus 6. Is it good even when signal is low
no problems with the call quality in low signal areas
I haven't had any issues with the call quality but has anyone else noticed that you can feel the back vibrating when on a call as if the speaker is touching something?

Would you recommend the Honor 10 to someone with a hearing loss? So far, I haven't found any information about the sound quality for the person with the Honor 10. This could potentially be a dealbreaker when buying a phone
I have no problem with call quality on the Honor 10 I'm now using version 146
Voice call not very clear. Have to use speaker. What happen to honor 10?
Quick question, I had the P20 and took it back because I didn't like the fact that I was forced to the same ringtone for messages and email. Is this the same issue with the H10? Overall are you able to set a custom ringtone for messages and then a different one for email?
Call quality is really good. The audio sounds really good for phone calls and hangouts calls.

ok, no one cares. you clearly don't own the phone in the first place and you're just spamming the threads with non sense. I'm looking to buy the phone and looking for a legit answer from a legit owner. Post proof that you own the phone or stop spamming negatives all over
Poor
Medium. Not bad, but not good either. Let's say 5 out of 10.
Surprisingly good enough.
Great. More than expected. No complaints from anyone till now and calls are crisp for me as earpiece isnof high quality.
It is fine. What service you use also matters. Like voip vs using signals from cell tower. Voip is going to be better. Same goes for whatsapp.
Calling fails......
This is the worst thing that is happening in samsung phone . when you call someone it takes about 10sec to take you to the calling screen and after that it sometimes takes 10 more sec to ring. This thing bugs me the whole time. I give 1 out of 10 rating for this call quality. If you have read the above replies , then let me clearly say that iam not the owner of samsung but i request him to make the quality better. If anyone face this problem please reply so that the company makes quick actions against this problem.
Is there any roms that have video calling added? Thanks in advance
I had low quality of call, poor and crispy.
Do you have any solution?
the phone never beat or break its on perfect conditions!
help me please

Going the get my device in a few days will post a short review about the call quality.
Received my unit today.
Call quality is great as compared to my old devices.
It's better than Oneplus 7 too.
Earpiece volume feels natural and voices are more audible than other devices I used.
I've used the phone for over 3 days now. Call quality is quite brilliant, however at the beginning, calls used to randomly drop. Could be a carrier issue, also before setting up the device YouTube would just randomly shut off
Any updates?
Have been using this phone past 20days and the call quality has been excellent. No drops at all even when signal is low. I am on Airtel india network and volte works fine. Impressed!
Anyone facing low call volume? both on earpiece and speaker?

Yes, but as system is non RW even after root we need an magisk module to fix it.
One option, tested and ok, bit to low still, edit .aml.sh to get it bit better: https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...gisk-stereo-speaker-headphone-volume-t3931406

I am getting so frustrated with this phone. In the middle of a conversation the other person will hang up on me because they can't hear me because I keep pressing hold/mute by accident and the call goes silent and the other person hangs up. It does this over and over. Is it the proximity sensor or something weird like that? It shouldn't do that while I'm on a call and then not to mention that my phone accidentally butt dialed 5 different people...things got weird. Considering exchanging the phone for something different unless anyone knows how to fix this. Thanks.
Perfectly fine volume. Specially on vowifi
Very low volume here... It's mostly inaudible when there is some noise around

For you or the other person
So I received my 7T last Wednesday. I activated it on Google Fi account and basically used that as my daily driver. I was so impressed with the call quality I have since moved over my Verizon service over to the phone from my Pixel 3 XL. Last year I was impressed with the Pixels camera but other then that the last several years have just been a blah time for phones. This phone I actually enjoy.
The call quality is great on this phone. My only gripe is that the phones volume seems too loud. I wish I can turn it down.

Bad quality. Low birate. Waiting for fix it in next update. Actual is 11.0.11
I'm not sure about the bitrate and mic quality but the Mi Note 10 has one of the loudest earpieces I've ever heard and has absolutely no distortion!! Amazing volumes, might as well have been a stereo device
I don't care bout bitrate.
Mi Note 10 is the loudest earpiece of any phone i've ever had. It's so loud i'm using 1/2 of max volume.
My wife understands my voice very well, this was not the case with my previous device.
I can even put the phone one meter away on the desk or the middle console of a car and talk handsfree and both hear clear and loud voice on both ends.
So often people have trouble understanding me and say i sound mushy. Idk if that's my carrier or the phone, but I had the same carrier in my S8 and no problem.
You guy's think my earpiece is defective? On both MIUI 12.5 and Cipher 3.4 my in call volume is barely adequate, I can barely hear what people are saying on max volume. People sound fine, seems like the quality is good, the volume is just too low.
