I got the same problem, any solution yet.
Hello,
no image, no custom skin,And also not able to open whatsup messages. no sms then why it is android version smart watch?
Hi. Since a few days owner of a Kingwear GV68.
Check this post.
Original app Fundowear doesn't come with extra apps (to install in memory of the phone). But the app Mediatek Smartdevice does have apps/skinincluded in app. (you can only install one app at the time on your smartphone, so remove fundowear before installing Mediatek smartdevice.
1 Install Mediatek Smartdevice on your phone (or install Fundowear).
2 Download any watch face in this thread, extract it.
www.watchfaceup.com/vxp.php or watchfacezone.tk/1-HOME.html#11-VXP_WATCH_FACES.html
3 There will be 3 files, which is .xml, .png and .vxp files. Copy all this, and paste into your smartphone internal storage inside folder "appmanager".
4 Open the Mediatek app, connect to your watch. Then go to "My Application", press "Install Now" button on the watch face..
Click to collapse
I find out that when you install "Mediatek smartdevice" that it has some skin's and apps for your smartwatch in the internal storage of your smartphone at the "appmanager" directory.
When you remove "Mediatek smartdevice" and then install "Fundo Wear", then fundowear can also install those skins/apps the same way.
I write this because i find out one difference in the 2 apps when it comes to notifications.
"Mediatek smartdevice" notifies all smartphone notifications when configured, sometimes double.
"Fundo Wear" notifies same as Mediatek Smartdevice (not double), but it shows also the words in the messages (sms, whatsapp and so on). That's a bit plus to FundoWear.
Anyone know where to find apps for the GV68? (like a working yahoo weather)

I got the A version (4033a) i guess. Without dual sim
Bull****. Got to complete a task/buy something. Forget about this link.
Hi, U can remove useless apps using root explorer or root app delete.. Or search for any other custom rom built for ur fone.
Without custom roms, usually this http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/framework-xposed-rom-modding-modifying-t1574401 . With the different modules available for everything from ad blocking to theming to customizing the lockscreen, this is about as custom as you can go without a rom.
I have an app

Hello ackeella27, I have an Alcatel POP C3 4033X and I had the same problem: preinstalled apps and some ram used by these (for example Viber, that sometimes used to crash even if I didn't open it). So i had decided to root my phone and remove these useless (for me) apps by deleting them from the system (they are in a folder called "/custpack/app/" in the case of 4033X but i don't know if it is the same for other model of POP C3).
But I use to reset my phone sometimes (with the decision to not install again too much apps xD ) so made an app, called "App Removal for Alcatel POP C3"
I think if you have 4033X model you can surely use it, if not but you decide even to try please tell me the result so I know that this app is also for another model of POP C3.
You can find the app atached the post; I've put an ads at the bottom because I'm planning to put it on Play Store
In the app, if you haven't already rooted your phone you can click "Get SU" button, and installation of Framaroot will be started: when it finishes open Framaroot and click Boromir. Restart the phone. You can open App Removal, and may modify the code, and then click "execute" button to remove the unnecessary apps.
I posted some sceenshot to show you how is the app
Description of used permissions:
1) SD Card
2) Network State and Internet
3) Superuser
1)To put Framaroot in the SD Card and start the installation process
2)To display Ads
3)To execute the root commands
I hope it works and is usefull
Have a nice day

Edit: The app is now obsolete: wait about one week and I will make a topic with the new app (better than this). Bye

Q did u als had this annoying message when u disable viber. Viber has stopped. Keeps popping up
Yes, so I reset my phone and delete it from the system. I think this phone's version of viber is bugged because if I install it from Play Store it function normally. If you would remove it feel free to use my app (it not remove only viber but also other programs, in future I update if with a cecklist of Alcatel system apps you can check to be removed, more comfortable)
Sent from my ONE TOUCH 4033X using XDA Free mobile app
Aight that woud be cool
Hi,
I like the look of the in built apps on the WSD-F20 as I do a lot of hiking.
Has/can anyone export the apk files for Tool, Activity and Location Memory? I'd like to sideload them on to my Urbane 2nd edition to see if they'll run.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Did u manage to install the casio apks on another watch ?
Thanks
Hello. When I open Google Play on my Huawei watch 2, I can see a list of apps installed on my phone w/ the option to install them on the watch. One of those applications is "Messages" which is really Android Messages (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.messaging), but whenever I try to install it, the watch shows installing but never installs it. I even reset the watch and very first thing I did was try to install it again but it's still not working.
I could've sworn I had this installed on a past watch. Thoughts?
Yeah, I’m having the same issue since I reset my watch to pair with my note 8. What I’m thinking is there was an update but instead of just fixing, it broke something...as it’s been a trend on android wear. I did the reset on the 9th of Sept.
As much as I like android wear, because of all of these constant issues, I might jump ships and go to the Samsung gear s 3 classic...
Same issue. Came from Note Edge, had to Factory Reset watch to migrate it to my new Note8, which I think is dumb. Now I can't re-install Messages, which I was getting a TON of use out of for the last month or so since I found it. I want it back!
Slightly off topic, but I just found this yesterday and was able to pair my watch to a new phone without resetting or losing anything.

Update! Specifically for the Huawei Watch (Original, not 2) Since you can plug the Huawei watch directly into the computer and use ADB to install apps directly onto it, I used this tutorial (Search Sideload Apps to Android Wear Smart Watch on Youtube, uploaded by Dave Bennett) to install this most recent version of the Android Messages apk, which I got from APKMirror (https:// www . apkmirror. com /apk/google-inc/android-messages-android-wear/android-messages-android-wear-2-1-167-release/) and it worked like a charm!
From the Tutorial, all I had to do was download the ADB files, then the apk, and put the apk in with the adb files. Follow the parts of the Tutorial that show you how to enable ADB on the Watch. The only command I ended up needing was ".\adb -d install (appname).apk" in Windows Powershell, which I launched by holding Shift and right-clicking in the folder with the adb files and the apk. Super straightforward. If you have any issues with it, let me know, and I'll try to clarify what I did a little better! Good luck! Sorry for the spaces in the Links, I'm too new to post links directly yet!

Perfect. I downloaded the apk, copy and pasted the install adb instruction, it installed and then updated. Great. Thnx!
Awesome, my first "Tutorial" post has a 100% success rate! (So far) Just glad I got it working for myself, and glad to have helped others with what I found. Can't imagine what Google managed to screw up that's preventing us from installing it directly, since it worked great before, and still works without any issues at all installed from this method.

This worked on my brand new HW 2 as well. I got it setup with my pixel, immediately downloaded the august security patch, rebooted and could NOT install the android messages app. Followed your instructions and it worked like a charm. So happy Thank you!!
OMG LOOK AT ME I'M SO AWESOME AND HELPFUL AND GETTING STUFF DONE but seriously, It's good to know I helped out a bit.
It would appear that they finally fixed the issue, finally just got it to install on my Huawei Watch paired with my Pixel XL. Last night I just clicked the card on my watch that says it failed, next it opened the Play Store, then I clicked install, afterwards it actually showed it downloading a nearly 5MB file and installed in about a minute total to complete.
Hi there I recently bought a QW08 smart watch which comes with Android 4.4 (at least it says that in the description, I couldn't find any version number/info in the settings). It has a few chinese and other weird apps installed that I would like to uninstall. If possible, I also want to have the play store app installed. I couldn't find much information about this watch in general so I'd like to know:
Is it possible to backup the firmware so I can always reset it back in case I do anything wrong?
How can I root this watch and uninstall the apps I don't want to have installed?
How can I install the play store app on this watch? Does anyone know a safe download of the original play store app that would work on this watch?
Are there any custom firmwares for this watch?
Thanks for all of your help.
Finally my first Android Phone! So my queries are
a) how to move all whatsapp messages from windows phone to android easily? can a direct copy paste of whatsapp folder work?
b) how to move all sms from windows to android phone?
c) best gcam app working app for this phone and how to download and install the same
Thanks
a) If windows version of whatsapp has backup function. Open whatsapp>settings>chats>chat backup>backup. After this a local backup will be created in whatsapp folder. Copy entire whatsapp folder in Internal storage of Android phone. Then register in whatsapp. You should see an option for restore backup.
b) Try this app in play store " Import SMS from Windows Phone"
c) (GCam-5.1.018-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V8.3b1.apk)
@curryinthedesert Thanks. Will try them soon and update. Any chance the latest Pixel 3 cam has been added. And is the process to install Pixel Cam same as for other phones?
Follow the guide given here to enable Camera2api on your Pro M2. Downloads needed ADB Drivers for PC and Zenfone Max Pro drivers
As far as I have tried pixel 3 cam, front cam did not work at all. But all features of rear cam (hdr+, portrait, night sight etc) works fine. You can try this apk . Also give a try to other apks as well. You can find all available Gcam apks here. Version with 6.1.021 in name means ported from Pixel 3.
Thanks a lot
a) did not work. it did not even prompt for whatsapp message recovery only provided option to retrieve from old google backup. So now any desktop software which I can use to view the old messages?
b) worked fine for sim 1. second sim did not retrieve. but thats ok. mainly wanted sms from 1st sim
c) still not tried.
for the whatapps, you do a backup of the whatapps folder in your windows phone, if you can access the folder of the whatapps, that is even simpler, just make a copy of the file with .db extension, if you wish to transfer all the photos, video and media, backup its media folder as well.
The install whatapps in your android phone, activate it, you will get some msg most likely. Then put you phone into offline mode and kill the whatapps program from running. Just replace the .db file in the whatapps folder from your windows phone, then dump the whole media folder to the android phone. once done, go online and start whatapps, it may just read the DB or to ask you to convert the DB to the latest version. Once it is done, everything is there.
