I got an S8 G950FD, international dual SIM version and want to use it on Sprint.
This model supports all Sprint 4G LTE bands but Sprint still says that the device is incompatible.
Did anyone get the F or FD models to work on Sprint?

Can you use a euro s7 edge in the us on sprint?
Doubtful. Sprint (and Verizon) use CDMA, and Europe has standardized on GSM for calling. I doubt the Exynos versions of the phone have CDMA radios.
While Sprint is limited on which unlocked and international phones work on its network, if you *are* able to activate it on Sprint, here's info about the limitations:

Does anybody know if the Hong Kong s7 edge will work on sprint? It is cdma and lte and I'm aware that the cdma bands aren't all there sprint uses 800mhz and 1900mhz but the hong kong s7 is only 800mhz compatible but I could live with it in exchange for root. The lte matches and the hk version has more bands too. If not than my only choice is to jump ship to another carrier. Any insight is much appreciated.
No, sprint doesn't allow you to bring unlocked devices unless is a nexus or an iPhone. And you need band 26 for lte
i this order the samsung galaxy S7 on StraightTalk (Verizon) 4G LTE i cant wait i wounder if any one here has done the same has me all so if any one has a straightTalk Verizon 4G LTE what is the model # on the box that they send you from straight talk i hop its the SMG930F model
The 930F will not work with Verizon. Most likely the 930V or 930U.
Hi,
I'm on AT&T and planning on buying an S7 Edge. I'm trying to look for a unit with a good price and don't care if it's a different variant but I'd like to know what I'd be missing by not getting the AT&T one (G935A):
1. If flashing the AT&T firmware on the T-Mobile variant (G935T) or any other (Verizon, Rogers, etc), will it work just like the AT&T one and will it activate all the LTE bands? or AT&T will still not recognize it as an AT&T one? any other AT&T feature that might be missing?
2.- Does the VoLTE and WIFI calling on AT&T works in any other S7 variant? I think I read is possible but root is needed.
Thanks!
I can verify that using the Verizon S7 and S7e works with AT&T firmware. All AT&T LTE bands including VoLTE and WiFi calling work. No root required.
I have tmobile S7e that I flashed the AT&T firmware on. It's running great and works great.
Hi everyone!
I am planning to buy a Samsung Galaxy s8 from us Celular model number sm-g950U but even if I've read that all models us models are the same, I'm not sure if this phone (which is factory unlocked gsm) would work with different carrier LTE bands like at&t or t mobile.
Could anyone please advise??
Thanks in advance!
All north American s8/s8+ are the same, yes. Provided they are unlocked they will work on, and can even be easily branded as any major us carrier.
If it's a g950u it's unlocked.
