Outlet means charging Adapter ????

You might be using bad charger or cable... It should take about 2 hours from 10-100%

That's what happened with mine when I bought it. So, I tried to switch between different ports and got it solved. Also, I switched to custom Roms, then never faced it.

CHARGING ISSUE - WALL SOCKET vs USB

My NOTE 3 SM-N9005
is having issues when charging using wall socket. At first it charged up to 82%, then 56% and now 31% BUT when plugged into USB port it charges up to 100%. I believe it may be something with software. I have JB 4.3.3 and I dont want to upgrade to a KITKAT at least not now.
Anybody having some ideas. Why it does not charge via WALL SOCKET but works fine VIA USB.
I cannot ask for replacement I bought in the USA and now I am back to my country so warranty is of no use.
PLEASE HELP.
Is the adapter is original? Not a fake one?

That is the problem with your apple charger.
You can check by yourself by using the Samsung cable and plug into the USB port on the PC to see if it works OK.
So the problem should be the charger.

OK it does charge via USB port on my PC but now every time I try charging via wall socket it charge less and less. Since warranty is out of question I was scared to death and wall charging charges 3x faster
Ok I guess I will have to find another USB charger, preferably original one.
I read lot of posts about people having issues with NOTE3 charging and it is scary.

No need to scary, your problem is just a apple charger.
You need to change to another charger and the thing will be ok.
BTW, to original charger for Note3 is 2A/5.3VDC. How about your apple charger? I doubt it does not have enough power to charge the Note 3.

Ohhhh, as I've said, this charger does not have enough power. Our Note 3 requires 5.3V / 2A, but this one only 5V / 1A.
You need another "stronger" charger.
Thanks

Problem with charging the battery!!!!

A friend of mine owns a Glaxy Grand 2 (obviously ) he has a problem with charging his battery. It takes him from 5 to sometime 6-7 hours and despite that the phone charges until it goes to 90-94 % and then it stucks there. If he remove the battery and open the phone again the battery is fully charged.
Any tips or a solution?
My thought was that its an ROM problem.
What is yours?
Thank you in advance!
maybe the firmware problem are you on latest firmware?

check your charger. it should be 1Amp. If it is 0.7Amp output, then it will get stuck at 94 to 95%
click on thanks if you think I helped.

Is it recommended to change the suggested charger that comes in the box... I dont know at this point if it is 0.7A or 1A, but will there be no problem to change to a charger with 1A output if its 0.7?

Yes its the first thing that i asked him, maybe a reinstall of the ROM could fix things. But i thought i would ask if anyone else had the same problem.
you should try re flashing the whole rom using odin otherwise go to a samsung repair center
I have exactly the same problem,
Sometimes it stuck on 92%,93%,94% but sometimes it works perfectly

Mt SM-G7102 came with 1A charger. My wife has the S2 which comes with the 0.7A charger. if I use the S2 Charger, my Grand 2 gets stuck on 94%. If I use the Grand 2 charger, charges right up to 100 percent with no hiccups.

Not a perfect solution....can anyone help....everyone should purchase S2 charger...hahahaha

you seem to have replied without reading.
the S2 charger is 0.7A and the GRAND 2 charger is 1.0 A. so, buying a S2 charger will never help. You will be stuck on 94% for a very long time. You need a 1A charger for Grand 2.

Well, in that case, have you thought of getting it checked by Samsung? Maybe its a hardware fault?

Me Too!
I have this problem too!
I flashed by Samsung firmware 4.3.3 again and it's NOT solved
Hi MY Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 mobile is not getting charged. when it is of 40% I connected to charger, when I see it after 10 mints it went down to 10%. I tried with different chargers to make my mobile battery full but its got getting charge. so if some one knows how to get slove this problem please let me know.
Thank you.
This one kind of problem is kinda the hardware based and not the software. As you can see guys, if you reviewed every single reply and solution. The charger is the problem with some replies, so the charger from S2 will make you get stucked on some certain point of 90% to 94% but if the Grand 2 charger will never have problem.
Conclusion: Use you're own charger (Typically the original charger u have when u got ur phone)

Hi
Are you on stock rom or custom rom?
If on custom it maybe some kernel issue.
If on stock rom then:
First check your charger, try another one see if there is a change on your device Or check your charger on another device.
Next how old is your battery? I guess about a year old. If all seems fine you can check the mini usb connector in the device, msybe its gone bad or too much dirt.
If all this didnt help much, then its time to service center

hi..thanks for your reply. i am on stock rom. i did reflash my stock rom some times but no luck.
my charger and data cable are good. i tried various chargers and cables but the result was same.
yeah my battery is old nearly 1 year. i am also doubt on battery but i dont know any methods to check it. i have not any spare batteries also. my battery keeps power as normal. its not over heating or critical power down. the problem is slow charging only. do you know any methods to test the battery using any tools like multi meter?
Sorry that i cannot help any further.
And maybe a multi meter woukd help help to check battery.
But you may consider checking the device usb connector itself.

GO here for rooting
http://forum.xda-developers.com/yureka/development/tool-one-toolbox-yu-yureka-t3087186
and the kernel
http://forum.xda-developers.com/yureka/orig-development/kernel-sandy-kernel-v1-3-t3088560
DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK.many are complaining of errors and bricked phones so read the comments in the posts to learn about problems and methods before rooting.
And the charger(nokia lumia 520) is good, one user posted that it reduced the heating and the charging is fast.
