Rooted with ODIN. The phone worked fine for weeks and then I received this message trying to charge it one day. I get "FAIL! (auth), "FAIL! (Size)," or "FAIL! (Erase)" anytime I try to flash -- whatever I try to flash. I am using ODIN3 3.10.7.
Kies 3 does not recognized this device.
Smart Switch does not recognize this device.
ADB disabled
External Storage disabled.
Using a PIT file and T Flash, it starts to work, but ultimately fails.
Any ideas? What information should I provide?
Flashed a new image, but it won't load. Phone is stuck on the first screen.
Found one to flash through odin, but it won't load on reboot. Kies is attempting to reimage, but last try it also would no reboot. Fails to load image.

Finally worked. Tried to flash tar from sammobile 10 times. Finally took.
I am having the same problem as in this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2371548
The phone is stuck in a bootloop and is unable to mount /data.
But when I attach an USB cable, Windows says: "one of the usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows doesn't recognize it"
I tried this on 3 different computers with Windows 10 and they all say the same.
I did everything: Another usb cable, usb port, drivers delete and uninstall and reinstall, samsung kies install and uninstall, but nothing works.
The phone is charging and sometimes it is vibrating, but other than that it does nothing. I tried to manually mount data, format data, flash a custom Rom, and everything by SD card, but nothing works and it keeps getting stuck on bootloop. The problem is I can't use Odin to flash the files manually, so how do I flash the files from http://d-h.st/PF5 with a SD card only?
Please help!
Edit:
Flashed CWM and stock ROM with SD card - but it says 'unable to mount /data' and it's still stuck in a bootloop
Windows says in device manager: device descriptor request failed
I tried flashing the files in http://d-h.st/PF5 with SD card, but that didn't work? Can anyone help me?

Download samsung driver and download official stock from sammobile and flash using odin good luck
Hi,
I was restoring my G531F to stock ROM using Odin when it suddenly failed while restoring hidden.img. From what I've read deleting hidden.img from tar.md5 fille will resolve this issue. Unfortunately after rebooting screen shows "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery in Kies & try again.".
* device is recognizable in Odin but gets stuck all the time on "establishing connection"
* Samsung Kiess does not recognize the device
* I'm unable to get into recovery
Any ideas?
s8 exynos stuck in Factory Binary, can't connect to adb "unauthorized", nor ODIN
Bought an S8 Exynos, tried to change my carrier with the Factory Binary. After installing Factory Binary via odin I now can not get odin to connect to the phone gets stuck at "SetupConnection". Trying to use adb says "unauthorized device" no matter how many times I start and kill adb server...
Is there any way to unbrick this phone now?
PS:
~ I can only get the phone to go to the FACTORY BINARY screens AND stock recovery screen.
~ Tried both modded and unmodded 3.13.1 ODIN
.

Thank for the reply, I've tried all of these suggestions with odin still "SetupConnection"
1. Keep using Odin 3.13.1
2.Failng at setup connection :.some.things to try
- make sure you have latest Samsung drivers for your PC.
- if you have smart switch uninstall it as it can cause issues. It may be worth while to try using smart switch to see if that will update your phone.
- connect directly to a USB 2 port ( not a USB 3 or any USB hubs) on your PC.
- try a different usb lead ( data )
- try booting into download mode, restart and go straight back into download mode again then connect to PC.
- run Odin in administrator mode on PC.
- try a different PC.
Could any of you guys please help? I'm following instructions about making my T560 work with a higehr version of Android (currently 4.4) and I've done lots of research and they all follow the same steps that are shown on a youtube video (can't post the link):
Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6 Install Android 7.1.2 Nougat & Root it After
So, I've been following the exact video instructions, but at the Odin > AP step isn't working.
The steps are basically: put the tablet on Downloading mode, open Odin (I have tried 3 recent versions) on Administrator mode, uncheck "Options > Auto Reboot" and then check "AP" and place a .tar file that I got that is adequate to my tablet's model. The .tar file I got is called "twrp_3.0.2-1_sm-t560.tar".
I place the .tar file, run "start", then Odin is able to connect and during "Initialization..." it just flashes "FAIL!" and Odin closes itself.
Sometimes, it doesn't have a Fail message but it says it is done and nothing has happened.
The device is properly connected on USB and recognized as blue on Odin, and I have Samsung USB drivers. Also tried running Odin as admin, and downloading a newer version, same issues. It just doesn't run.
I did a lot of research and the best tip I could find was to put it into the setp before download mode, plug it it, set everything up in Odin, then quickly press volume up on the tablet to enter Downloading mode, then run Odin.
It doesn't work either, but it SOMETIMES returns me a different error (DeviceInfo)...
(I have screenshots of the error screens but I can't post them as I'm new, sorry)
Sound like you look up some instructions on how to use ODIN. The .TAR file you downloaded has to be unzipped to produce 4 files to be inserted into Odin slots.
