I want to root my LG G6. But it seems I need to unlock my bootloader, however cant find any way to unlock it. Can someone help me with that please
Only the h870 and the us997 are unlockable sorry bud :/
Hello everyone I have an LG G6 H870 that I bought unlocked (supposedly) I want to flash some custom roms, yet when I try to get the unlock key from LG it tells me my phone is from panama and i cant unlock it, when I have the h870 version which is supposedly be unlock able.

Only the European H870 can be unlocked, it's written on the LG page: "LG G6: H870 for the European market"
So nope, you cannot unlock the bootloader of your G6, this means no root, no custom recovery and obv no custom rom, i'm sorry.
Is it possible to root Indian version of LG G6 H870DS, if we could unlock the Bootloader. Check this link.
